No, the Canadian Backbreaker into a shoulder breaker (Papa Shango's finisher). Stevie slipped out of his grasp and was dropped almost directly onto his head.

"Eddie Guerrero is my favorite wrestler" with "Cheat to win" on the back

While I agree that pocket lint would make a good replacement for Jerry Lawler, has Steamboat improved that much? He could always say the right thing but he never struck me as a funny guy or mr. excitement.

I remember it being a clothsline so stiff that it left an impression of DDP's face in Holly's bicep. I consider this to be a lot worse. A superplex is a difficult move where anything can go wrong, but a clothsline??? That's just a guy being an asshole working stiff to try to get himself over at the expense of his opponent's health. Real tough guy that Holly though. Get into the backstage scrum that it should have been AFTER he's already beat the hell out of the guy when he wasn't expecting it.

That would have been great. Yes it would have been great. But it would also have gotten Hardy completely squashed the next night and then fired. Unless it's someone headed out the door, you'll never see that kind of thing in a ladder match.

HHH Pedigree on top of head from 1996

Dupree is more talented than Holly; that's why Holly is pissed. Dupree is also younger, better looking and has a future in the business. With all these things going for him, he was just asking for a beating from Holly I'd really like to know what Holly has on Vince. I know Vince likes his boys tough but this is what, the fifth such incident that he's been involved in, and that's just what's made reports. It's not like he has any kind of drawing power to make up for these things. I don't think this will be the end of Holly. He got a push after the tough enough incident, something that was seen by the whole audience and should have gotten him criminally charged and the WWE sued. This was a house show incident, something that only 1% of the audience will even know about, it'll get swept under the rug, maybe after a slap on the wrist.

To answer your question specifically, no this wasn't a stip that was mentioned to be added on. Rocket gave the most correct answer on how it ended up that way.

I understand how it was part of the story to need the third shot to finish him off, but this was a case of bad selling. Hardy takes the first shot and it's like a stiff breeze came through and hit him. The second shot was like a mosquito bite. Okay, I'm exagerating here but the point is that there's good "not being knocked out" no selling and bad "not being knocked out" no selling. This case was the latter. The guitar shot is an absolute death blow in TNA. It's part of the story that he needs three shots to be knocked down but he could have sold the first two a little more than having an ouchy; building himself up as a never quitting, tough SOB in the process.

That kind of thing ain't my bag baby, but I could understand the interest in seeing a freak of nature like Bass. Post surgery Chyna however is just good enough to get herself out of that freak of nature category. Now she's just another ugly ho that is the last person you'd ever want to see in a porn. Then you add a greasy piece of diarreah like Waltman to the equation and you've got a horror on your hands that would make Freddy and Jason cringe in fear.

They don't look over stuff all the time. Sometimes stuff gets up on their that gets pulled the moment someone high up the food chain sees it, because it's seen as knocking WWE in a way that isn't acceptable. Case in point would be Shawn Michaels comments over his match with Ric Flair at Bad Blood last year. WWE.com posted an interview with Michaels where he complained about them only getting 15 minutes for their match. Within a few hours it was pulled. This is all just to sell the ECW dvd. They want to appeal to WWE fans who didn't see any ECW material, and wouldn't buy a dvd of the "wussified hardcore" that they saw in the WWE. RVD is allowed to shoot off like this because it's something that will generate sales for the company. Eventually some higher up might get his panties tied up in a knot over this and it'll be pulled, but I'd assume that this is exactly the type of comment that RVD was asked to make.

Nah, I'd rather see Goldberg, he still has that belief that he's a legit tough guy. Nash has already fallen apart enough. It'd be like schooling Humpty Dumpty.

There's giving someone a unique look and there's making someone look like a complete fool (when being the fool isn't the character). They could come up with something different that doesn't make him look like a village people nightmare.

I was wondering if anybody else saw this. From the first time I saw him with the spiked up middle hair I thought of The Rooster.

Every time I see Lita I can't help but think of that Seinfeld episode where his girlfriend was georgeous or grotesque based on the lighting. She looks sweet some nights and others it looks like her face got hit by a truck. I can never figure out why, at least with most chicks I can blame beer goggles, but with the state of Raw, I always have to be drunk to watch. Maybe that's the solution - drink until she's cute.

I figure he must have been pissed at Jeff over something earlier in the match. A pro wrestler, especially one with a character like Rico, knows how to stall by playing to the crowd or basically being a dumbass. Openly shouting at your opponent tells me that he was sick of Jeff's fuck ups by that point.

Nowinski and Holly are the two most obvious choices but the fact that they weren't in this initial purge tells me that they'll be sticking around. My guesses are Funaki and Nunzio. Funaki has been reduced to a novelty role and such things usually go during cuts. Nunzio will fall into the "nothing for you" pit with his FBI running mates now gone.

D-Von Dudley involved in altercation w/ fan
evilhomer replied to LucharesuFan619's topic in The WWE Folder
You're at a wrestling show, you're fucking around giving the heel a hard time and it gets a reaction, unless the heel broke character and made a sincere request to knock it off, why would a fan have any reason to believe that the initial response is nothing more than the game that they are encouraged to participate in? I don't want to speak about this incident because there are no known facts about it, but as a wrestling fan, I would never expect a wrestler to take something personally. A wrestler could turn around and tell you to fuck off because he found something funny just as much because he really did get pissed off. The bottom line is there's a game fans are encouraged to participate in and wrestlers have to accept as part of the job. Without a reason to think otherwise, I'd believe that the initial reaction was all part of the game. With that out of the way, I think D'von handled himself pretty well in this situation. Obviously he had some button pushed and it sent him over the edge. Whether this was justified or not cannot be determined but he did lose it. Despite flying into this rage, he still kept enough wits about him to not simply pummell the fan into dust. He wanted to, and would have, but he had enough composure to not do so unless he was properly provoked. -
They let Taker make DDP his bitch week in and week out for months on end when he was coming in supposedly to be a threat. Maybe the way this killed the fued and DDP's career taught them a lesson.

Benjamin- Jericho was decent but it was a little awkward like they didn't have a match planned out. Maybe that's a good sign that the voting isn't rigged.
-
I'm not believing for a second that the voting actually means anything. Maybe they'll look at the results when they need a good laugh but there's no way that Vince would let someone else decide what they want to see when he can do it for them. I.C Title Match What I want to see: Val Venis or Stevie get the shot. It's a throwaway match that Jericho will make decent, put a deserving surprise entrant in there to keep up the guise of anything can happen. Prediction: Batista, Flair interferes, Jericho goes down to the monster clothsline, B-bomb Winner: Batista Randy Orton Vs Ric Flair What I want to see: A Flair win. Since that won't happen, a submission match where Orton can show off a new side of his repertoire and beat the legend at his own game. Prediction: Cage match, Batista interferes, heroic Orton overcomes the odds. Winner: Orton Eric Bischoff Vs Eugene What I want to see: Servant match with Eugene winning. The only option here that has any possibility of generating something entertaining. Prediction: Hair match, Bischoff humiliated, me taping it to cure insomnia. Winner: Eugene Kane Vs Snitski What I want to see: Steel chair match, Kane destroys Snitski in a hard hitting stiff power match Prediction: Lead pipe, Lita turns on Kane with a pipe shot that wouldn't break an egg, in his confusion he gets hit with the Test slam Winner: Snitski World Tag Title Match What I want to see: an entertaining match Prediction: HBK goes down due to miscommunication with Edge. Uncertainty whose side Edge is on. Winner: La Resistance World Title Match What I want to see: Edge hasn't been primed for a title shot, Benoit would just be returning the job, so by default I'm picking HBK for another semi-entertaining installment of their battles. Prediction: Benoit in the match, Edge costs him the win cementing his heel turn. Winner: Triple H

Personally I'm guessing that the voting is rigged. But regardless, the dickish behaviour by Edge was just to make sure that he doesn't win and will be a springboard for his heel turn; he beat HHH, he laid out the two other competitors, and yet he still doesn't win the voting... all you fans suck... I'm not fighting for your cheers anymore... typical WWE heel turn 101.

It was bad, but the DDP stalking of Taker's wife in 2001 was much more tasteless, and of course it killed DDP of ever being a taken seriously star in the WWE. What got my about the angle was this. Remember when DDP first showed up on RAW DDP said the reason he was stalking Sara was because he wanted to become famous in the WWF and what better way to do that then to fight the Undertaker. But, then all of a sudden they change it to DDP not wanting to become big in the WWF but, instead he REALLY was stalking Sara because he wanted to have her from himself no matter what. Which was dumb are what he first said. That and I had a hard to buying that DDP would want Cougar face Sara when he was that fine ass Kimberly at home. I remember that. DDP's first entrance was absolutely awesome and it looked to be the start of a great fued. It took a stupid angle, dropped it right away, admitted it's stupidity, and gave it a purpose and great new direction. Then the fued started. First match, Taker gets his revenge and destroys DDP. DDP's only offence being a somewhat sold balls shot. Okay, Taker was really pissed and DDP wasn't prepared for his strength, it'll get better. Second match, same. Third match, same. And so on until DDP's value became nil. The fact that they took it away from it's initial direction and back to it's original non-sensical beginnings simply made it all the worse.

I really think they intended it to be some cult hit. Vince seriously thought this was a great segment and would make for great television. I remember reading how he read the script and was laughing so hard he almost fell out of his chair. Kind of sheds some light on recent WWE programming.

It's pointless debating a list like this but that's one that really stuck out to me as well. I can't speak for his OVW work, but his month in the WWE was nothing memorable. Certainly nothing to achieve that high of a ranking.
