Agreed. I made the mistake of paying a visit there for the last couple of days. Needless to say, I won't be going back. At least Jack was smart enough to avoid that place alltogether.

Do you mean the same way the libs oh so graciously "dealt with it" in '04 after Bush's re-election? The same way there haven't been any "Bush=chimp" or "Idiot son of an asshole" or "Shrub OMG LOL you called him Shrub!" jokes floating around the last four years? Please. Don't even act offended when that stuff starts happening to the Obamessiah.

Paul London and Chuck Palumbo Released.
Chazz replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
Didn't even get to see Palumbo on Raw after he was taken via the supplemental draft. I'm waiting for D-Lo to be next. He hasn't be on t.v. for months. That's usually not a good sign. -
I missed Impact last night, but I read on a report during a backstage segment that there was a giant picture of Karen Angle in the trash in the background. Clever bit of subtle storytelling there. Although even though he may/may not be done with TNA, I really wish they would've explained what happened to Cornette, seeing as he was TNA's Authority Figure before Mick Foley came along.

Is Karen Angle still with the company? I don't remember the last time they did "Karen's Angle"

Just like a lot of liberals claimed they were moving to The Great White North after W. got re-elected 4 years ago. Much like then, it's just anger talk.

Former American Gladiator Host Mike Adamle Joins WWE
Chazz replied to Enigma's topic in The WWE Folder
I read somewhere that he signed a one year deal for aprox. $300,000. They'll just have to eat the final couple months of his contract while Adamle gets paid to sit at home. -
Prowrestling.net is now reporting that S.C. wasn't released, he quit on his own. Apparently Crazy wasn't happy with the way he wasn't being used on WWE T.V. Can't blame him there.

That's why they should just end this illusion of a brand extension. Although it will be good for a couple of laughs when they try to sell a ppv based on the premise of cross branded match, or when they try to tell us about how important the annual draft is.

Doesn't Smackdown still have that talent exchange thing going or was that ended when Raw started using ECW talent? I'm assuming that ended when Raw signed their talent exchange deal with ECW, otherwise there def. wouldn't be a point to the separation then. Of course the way they've been doing it lately, there really is no point to it now, but I digress. They never said it did (and since it still tapes with SD, it didn't). That basically makes ECW the ultimate brand. So to recap; Raw stars can appear on ECW, and ECW stars can appear on Raw. SD stars can still appear on ECW, and ECW stars can still appear on SD. Yeah, I see why it really is important that they keep the brand separation going.

Obama had a stand on the issues? Seriously, I know someone who said they were voting for Obama, and I asked "So you approve of that refundable tax credit he wants for health care" and got an immediate "Absolutely, great idea." I didn't have the heart to tell them that was part of McCain's proposed health care plan. Heh. A person I know from work got called a racist by a black guy because he said he wasn't voting for Obama. When he asked the same guy what he feels about Obama's stances on some of the issues were, he couldn't name ONE thing. And my co-worker was called a racist?
-
True, but we've never had a minority presidential canidate before, so that's never been an issue. Of the few people I've talked to that were voting for Obama, it seemed that they were more interested in bucking the system than electing the best man for the job. I'm just glad that Hitlery didn't win.
-
I wonder how many people voted for Obama based on his skin color vs. how he stands on the issues?

Yeah, like I said, there really is no point in keep the brand extension in play. In the past when they had a wrestler from Raw or SD "invade" a particular show, it was cool because the announcers would flip; "What the hell is so and so doing here? This is Raw/SD, not Raw/SD", as well the show's G.M. would have security escort/chase the other show's star out of the building. It really meant something back then, and it was all in the way they presented it. Now when a wrestler will appear on another show they wouldn't normally be on, there is usually no explanation for why they are there, and the announcers act the same as if it were one of that brand's own wrestlers. They don't even try anymore.

Miz and Morrison on SD? So much for last week's show being a one shot deal.

they would never of worked as a heel/face
Chazz replied to chrislatimer's topic in General Wrestling
Definatley agree. I also agree that even with expert booking, there are some people that should never be heel. Snow is one of them. You can't turn the "goofy but likeable" babyface into a heel because the fans just won't take it seriously. They tried turning Eugene heel last year and it bombed miserably. I almost forgot that Eugene heel turn of 2 years ago. He'd get mad like Adam Sandler in "The Waterboy", then scream "stop laughing at me" while the crowd sat there in silence. -
Good win by The Steelers. The way that game started out, I had flashbacks of The Philly game. Leftwich impressed me tonight against a good defense. Hope Big Ben isn't hurt too bad. Awesome game by the defense as well.

My 2nd win of the season! Thanks New England for keeping it close.

Affleck's Olberman bit had me rolling. Good stuff.

Pitt continues to play up or down to their level of competition, which is good seeing as I believe it is all .500 teams or better the rest of the way, and no more scrub squads like Bowling Green or Rutgers.(I still can't believe they lost to those 2 jokes.)

Is Tomko still with TNA? I haven't seen him around since Joe beat him in that gauntlet match on Impact several weeks ago.
-
They just have to have to remember not to add too many members, or like The NWO, The MEM will lose it's luster.
-
-Original NWO Black And White. -Sting's NWO Wolfpack I'm sure's there's more, but that's all I can remember right now.
