I wonder why SNL started it's season earlier as compared to years' past? If anything, I thought they would've started it later this season, seeing as all the extra work they have to do with the Thurs. Night Update and all.
-
They must be still writing the show as we speak. Glad I'm going to see "Quarantine" tonight instead.

Well, Penn St. did a lot better than what I'd thought they do in the second half,(39 unanswered pts.), especially given how they played in the first half. They start out against Ohio St. next week the way they did with Michigan this week, they will obviously get their asses handed to them.
-
3 straight long scoring drives to a team who is like 100 something in total offense. Great job, PSU! It's nice to see that no matter what losers Michigan suits up to play for them, you will always be their bitch. Horrible.
-
Horrible start for Penn State against glorified Division 2 Team Michigan.

Karma's a real bitch, ain't she?
-
So am I, but I'd rather take my chance on another attitude like rehash if it means they're going to start booking their product like it's the early-mid 90's again.
-
I actually don't mind the phrase that much, but christ are they beating it into the ground tonight!
-
I'm really getting sick of them using the "WWE Universe" phrase over and over again.

When you puked all over that guy on the plane ride home from D.C., do you remember his reaction? Was he understanding about it, or did he flip?
-
No, not at all. Just because the fans pick the challenger, doesn't mean the guy should win No it doesn't, but it might help the perception of their only fan active PPV of the year if the viewers think there's a good chance they might select a new champion. I'd think that'd be more important this year than ever before, what with that ridiculous text only option of a $1 per vote.
-
You're right. The 2004 and 2005 Tag Title Changes were to the 2 wrestlers who didn't get voted into The WWE Championship Match, IIRC. It didn't directly involve the fans selecting who would challenge for The Tag Titles. Instead of doing this last year, they had the 2 losers of The WWE Championship Match,(Jeff Hardy and Mr. Kennedy), face each other one on one instead of teaming up to take on The Tag Team Champs.

How many title changes have occured at Taboo Tuesday/Cyber Sunday in the 4 ppv's they had? Off the top of my head, I only remember Shelton Benjamin beating Jericho for The I.C. Title back in '04. When voting for who should face who for a title match, or what stipulation this title match should have, it might help if they had a few titles change hands to make the fans feel like they were part of something important. But that's me.

Whether Cade did or didn't do something wrong, JR's blog post is clearly a violation of Cade's medical privacy. JR should have simply left the firing as a private issue and not addressed it further. This kind of innuendo mongering is beneath him. Wonder if Lance will try filing a lawsuit against the company as the result of J.R.'s blog entry?

Ongoing Impact spoilers for this Thursday
Chazz replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in TNA Wrestling
Actually, to be technical, wouldn't he be stuck in Las Vegas? You're right. Forgot about Impact being live from Vegas. -
Did Max ever do something like this in the past?

Knowing Russo, I'm sure next week will see Angle stalking Jarrett's kids outside their home while Jeff will be stuck in The Impact Zone, helpless to do anything. -
The moment your favorite superstar or any wrestler jumped the shark

Now that you mention it, I do remember his run as European Champ, as he dressed up in different European outfits each week. For some reason I thought that was before, not after Head Cheese. One things for sure, he was one of several mid-card acts that suffered when Stephanie McMahon was placed in charge of creative in late 2000. Snow, Val Venis, D-Lo Brown, etc. Also notice that when she was placed in charge of creative, the phrase "Creative has nothing for you" began to increase more and more. -
This sort of reminds me of that story several years back where Maculay Culkin(sp), child actor from those "Home Alone" movies, called the police on his dad because his dad made him clean up his room. Although for what it's worth, I think your story is funnier. I bet that was a fun trip back home!

-Val Venis when he joined RTC. That being said, it didn't do any good to go back to his old moniker several years after that. But he is still employed by The WWE, so he must be doing something right. -Al Snow after he and Steve Blackman,("Head Cheese"), split up as a tag team. -
Bastion Booger. The guy could barely move around the ring, let alone perform simple moves. In other words, he represented the early 90's suck of The WWF.

I like the "Did You Know?" last night that touted ECW as "Sci-Fi's highest rated program last Tuesday." Boy, they are really scraping the botton of the barrel if they are bragging about that "accomplishment".

I ended up watching most of the show in between flipping to the MNF game during commercials. I really didn't think it was that bad of a show, especially compared to last week's snoozefest.
-
I also see that 2 matches have been announced; Rey Mysterio/Matt Hardy vs Kane/Mark Henry in a rematch from last week, as well as Cryme Time/Kelly Kelly vs Miz/Morrison/Jillian Hall in a six person tag match. Looks like a MNF week for me.

It's older than that too. *Remembers the whole Cena/Show feud for the US Title...that lasted I think about half a year. I know that feud was going on during "Tribute to the Troops"...and the title match wasn't until WrestleMania XX Good Point. I forgot all about that feud. I was just naming feuds off the top of my head that were 1-2 years ago. I'm sure there were much more then what I listed.(Just remembered Batista vs M.V.P. for The U.S. Title earlier this year on SD.)
