So they never bothered addressing why Primo is on S.D. now?

When I was in middle school, there were a couple of times,(7th and 8th grade), were I thought I was going to have to go to summer school, as I had failed/come close to failing a couple of subjects. Luckily I still somehow passed each grade.(Probably beacuse my teachers didn't want to spend another year with me. Can't blame 'em.)

I agree. Otherwise, there really is no point to keep the brand extension going if wrestlers just keep jumping from brand to brand with no rhyme or reason.

Yeah, that always cracked me about that commercial too. That and The Chef's facial expression when the guy announced that the pasta was delievered by Pizza Hut. He didn't appear too pleased to be going along with this little experiment.

-Chris Benoit in the fall of 2000,(they were right in the middle of doing The Angle/Steph/Triple H love triangle), headbutting Stephanie McMahon in the face knocking her out. I remember that closing out a Raw. -Marianna faking spousal abuse to get back at Chazz,(Headbanger Mosh), after he dumped her in the fall of 1999.

Is Chuck Palumbo still employed? I didn't see his name among those that were recently cut, yet he hasn't appeared on Raw since he was taken in the supplemental draft over 2 months ago. If he is still with the company, I'll be waiting for him to foil Jaime Noble's romance with Layla the way Noble ruined Palumbo's relationship with McCool on SD.

ECW late 90's. Tommy Dreamer and Sandman vs The Dudley Boyz. Tommy's Grandfather just passed away at that time, so he was given a 10 bell salute. Tommy is of course all tears. ECW Champion Justin Credible comes out and says something to the effect that he wished it was Dreamer who died instead of his old decrepid grandfather. Tommy and The ECW fans go crazy. What really sold this for me was the fact The Dudleys,(who were heels at the time), were showing their respect for Dreamer's Grandfather at the 10 bell salute by observing the moment of silence with everyone else. When Credible made his comment, they even went after him along with Dreamer and The Sandman. I even think Francine,(who was Justin's Manager at the time), started screaming at him for saying what he did when he jumped out of the ring. Great angle to try and get Justin over as the heel champ. Edit:Oops. I didn't see this was posted before. My bad.

Is Lima still around? I remember him pitching for The Mets 2 years ago, but haven't seen him around lately.

I remember a couple of weeks ago on SD, Super Crazy was wrestling Brian Kendrick. Super Crazy was wearing an ECW shirt, to which Tazz joked that Crazy didn't get the memo that he'd been traded to SD.(I initially thought it was the talent exchange in effect until he made this remark.) I didn't remember hearing about any trade, and it was never specified who ECW apparently got in return. Is it really so hard for them to keep shit like this strait?
-
Super Crazy was apparently drafted back to ECW from Smackdown again?

They don't have any Astros in The Hall Of Fame yet? Isn't Nolan Ryan there?

First of all, you can have a hell in cell match without blood if you have them portraying real hate. Second of all, both men DID bleed. Just not in the head or in the Muta scale fashion. Someone did a commentary on Meltz's website saing that there was no blood in the match. Obviously I didn't see S.S. However, I agreed with the writer who basically said for the amount of violent things both men did to each each other, the type of match it was, and the fact it was on PPV, there should have been more bloodshed. Not that I'm saying that it was a must for it to be a bloodbath to be considered a great match, but logic dictates that there should be given as what kind of a brutal match The WWE pushes it as, but it involved 2 superstars who were in the culmination of a 6 month feud.

I don't think it worked out too bad for Vinne Ru during The Attitude Era. The most popular characters during that time were written in shades of gray. Although I agree that not every wrestler show be booked this way, it's 10 times better than going back to this PG kiddie bullshit type of product that The WWE is headed in.(How can you have a nearly 30 minute Hell In A Cell match without any blood?)
-
What has happened on the show so far would support that theory. Blah.
-
This could be really good if done right. TNA needs an overarching storyline that affects the whole promotion. Yep, cause we all know it was Russo and Russo alone that caused WCW to go out of business with that particular storyline.
-
Out of all the players on this list, which ones do you think will be called up in September when rosters expand?
-
NEWSFLASH: They were booking god damn retarded shit way before Russo came in. If anyone needs to go it's Jeff Jarrett. Much like Vince McMahon in The WWE, Jarrett gets the final say on what goes on T.V. If anyone wants to blame somebody for stuff happening that you don't like on TNA T.V., blame Jarrett for greenlighting it in the first place. I remember reading in a recent interview with Samoa Joe where he said he believes Russo gets an unfair rap, as he estimated that Russo wan't responsible for 70% of the things that made it the air in TNA, yet he continues to take the brunt of the criticism for stuff he had nothing to do with. Personally, I think this is a power play of sorts to get more money on a new contract from The WWE,(not that I'd blame him for it), but I wouldn't be shocked to see Foley end up in TNA.
-
Like I said, we are probably supposed to forget about that. Still, it would be nice if they rewarded longtime viewers with continuity in some of their storylines once in a while.
-
If The Kane/Mysterio storyline does turn out that Kane is holding him hostage somewhere, I wonder what explanation they'll come up with to reveal why nobody thought to call the police to report Rey-Rey missing? His wife and son have appeared on WWE TV several times before, so it's not like he was portrayed as a loner with no ties to anyone.(Then again, were probably supposed to forget he has a family. Either that, or the writers forgot.)
-
Or worst closing seasons for a reliever of all time.(I.E.-blown saves, high era, etc.)
-
Good job with these lists. You should make one for the worst pitching seasons of all time as well.(I.E.-High ERA/losses in a year.)

Super Crazy had an ECW shirt on when he wrestled Kendrick. Tazz said something about Super Crazy not getting the memo about being traded from ECW to Smackdown. When the hell did that happen? I just assumed they were still following "The Co-Op" between S.D. and ECW. Did Super Crazy even wrestle a match for ECW since he was drafted from Raw to ECW? It hasn't even been 2 months since then. WTF?
-
"The WWE Machine" must be broke. Harris should've just stayed where he was.
-
Probably just for this week, as Foley is still selling his beating from Edge.

I liked Impact better when it was only an hour long. Less is more, especially when it comes to TNA.
