When Edge and Christian teamed together 3 years ago, The Announcers forgetting that they're supposed to be brothers.

I think a big problem today in theaters is understaffing, or if they are fully staffed, some ushers not doing their jobs and throwing the aforementioned offenders the fuck out.

9/13: Giving Oden A Pat On The Back
Chazz commented on kkktookmybabyaway's blog entry in KK's Korner
New England should've had to forfeit that first game against The Jets as well. As bitter as I am about The Steelers 2 AFC Championship losses to The Pats too, it's probably too late to prove anything now. However, they have evidence of the spying from last week, so N.E. should be 0-1,IMO. -
Pretty decent final show before The PPV,IMO. One thing that I didn't get; Why the hell did Tomko,a heel, give a shit about Ms. Brooks? Isn't Kaz,(who Tomko defeated cleanly beforehand), the one facing Robert Roode over this issue at N.S.? WTF? Other than that, I enjoyed the show.

At my awesome place of employment, we have to fill out a forum when we are going to be taking time off for a family member's funeral, which is up to 4 days paid. I guess this forum help's them weed out people who have "abused" their berevement leave.

Figures.

What team were you playing for that lost to Penn State?

Wrestler A goes to put Wrestler B through the announcers table, but decides to remove the t.v. monitors first. He wants to hurt his opponent bad enough to put him through a table, but not bad enough so that one of the monitors might end up falling on him.

The OaO Raw Thread for August 20, 2007
Chazz replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in The WWE Folder
hasn't Snitsky lost by DQ a few times already? I'm pretty sure he did in ECW. Just don't know if they're going to refer to him as undefeated after getting DQ'd. Maybe they'll just play up that he hasn't been pinned or submitted. Taz referred to Snitsky as the "unpinned Snitsky" at one point on RAW, so they are really bringing too much attention to his previous DQ losses. I'm guessing their purposely forgetting about his pre-ECW days. -
How about the countless times Sting trusted Flair and teamed with him, only for Flair to turn on him every time. Sting made Samoa Joe look like a genius.

Good show again tonight. It wasn't flawless, but TNA continues to entertain me more in 1 hour than The WWE does in 4-5 hours most weeks.
-
Did they ever make another T.S.B. after The '91 version? I think they did, but I can't remember for sure.
-
At least The Son Of Sam being at large part of the show ended, although if last night was any indication, they'll probably be dealing with the fallout from here on in.
-
Who the fuck was Johnny Johnson? I played T.S.B. a lot back in the day, yet I have no idea who he was or what team he played for. Taking a guess, was it Arizona?

Disagree about The Vince's "Bastard Child" storyline, mostly because I have a pretty good idea how things will go: The entire storyline will be stupid,(bad stupid, not good stupid), while the writers basically ignore the rest of the roster because they can't handle multiple storylines at once. The storyline will drag out as ratings continue to fall. Vince ends up dropping the storyline and blaming everyone else for why it didn't work except himself and his untalented, Head Of The Creative Team Daughter. Rinse and repeat.

With one of the many complaints of The WWE being that finishes to the matches are so predictible, when was the last time you were surprised by a match outcome? (clean or not) For me it would have to be last summer when Umaga,(who was only a couple months into his singles push) beat WWE Champion John Cena semi-clean,( Edge got involved, but not enough to be directly responsible for the loss: Cena picked up Edge to hit The FU, only for Umaga to hit him with The Samoan Spike), on a non-title contest on an edition of Raw. What about you?
-
Then you would've known he was going to win. I'm glad they didn't do that and instead showed the replay. It would have been so bad if not for the fact they have done this exact same finish on this exact same show in the 2 singles Battle Royals they have done in the past several months: Edge to win a shot at Cena's Title later in the show on a 3 hour edition of Raw last December; Then Edge again to reclaim his spot in last W.M.'s Money In The Bank Match in a "Last Chance Battle Royal." There's creativity for you.

Reset? Yes, mentioned earlier in the week by Meltz. Panic is the word in Stamford. I for one am glad they are panicing, as they should be. Besides, Vince is usually at his best when his back is to the wall.
-
What do you expect from WWE Creative? 2 Talents that they have nothing for, so they pair them up for a few weeks and hope for the best, then will forget about them totally. And they wonder why ratings are so bad.
-
A.J.-"That was Angle's Wife? She was like 5 years old." Borash-"That was his daughter" A.J.-"I know!" This show wasn't perfect, but was about 100 times more entertaining than the garbage they put on WWE programming the past several months.

I think this might have been the time when he had the idea of turning Rock gay. All I remember for sure is he was put in the writing team and his ideas were considered so out of touch that he was removed and made a 'consultant' and sent home/quit all in the space of 24hrs. Oh man, is that true? Jeez I never remembered hearing about this anywhere. There are certain people here,(and elsewhere) who hate Russo no matter what he does. He helps to raise ratings for TNA Impact to an all time high, yet his detractors find a way to discredit him for the accomplishments. Yet when ratings fall for a week,(a little or a lot), he is the first one to blame. And for anyone in The WWE to say/insinuate that Russo is out of touch is extremely laughable, especially given what they have done in the last 6 years. Almost as laughable as say drawing a 2.5 rating for a non-holiday, middle of the summer edition of Raw. Oh wait...

7/28: Up Wolf Creek When Doing Looney Presentations
Chazz commented on kkktookmybabyaway's blog entry in KK's Korner
That presentation/debate thing sounded hilarious. What was the reaction of the rest of the class when you did it? -
I'm glad the lady is putting pressure on Vince and Co. for their poor ratings. I think one of the reasons The WWE has gone to shit in the last couple of years is they had no pressure on them to preform better. However, if she wants more "Vince Russo" like shows", them maybe she should talk Vince McMahon into hiring Vince Russo back as Head Of Creative.(Don't know if he actually is under contract with TNA.), or even someone like Paul Heyman. Otherwise, if she's waiting for the current creative team they have now to turn Raw back into what it once was, she's going to be waiting for a while. A long while.

When Was The Last Time You Were Surprised By A Match Finish?
Chazz replied to Chazz's topic in The WWE Folder
Good one. Forgot about that. -
What would you like them to do? If they do anything that looks attitude era ish people flip out that it's a rehash. They aren't heavy in top notch performers like they once were either.... Multi-directional storylines.Non-linear outcomes.Something complex, like the Harts/DX/Austin feud (an example).I remember when just about all storylines inter-weaved with each other. On one level it can appeal to the mainstream, and yet on another appeal to the smart crowd. I agree with you, but it will never happen when Vince lets Big Steph and her sitcom rejects write the show. Also, Vinnie actually has to care what the people want to see again, not "what is the easiest/laziest way to fill some hours of t.v. programming this week," mindset that he's had for the past 6 years.
