I could be wrong about Schroder's role, but I thought he is going to come in to take over the role Curtis had as Head Of Field Ops or something. Like I said, I could be wrong.
-
You're thinking of Max from Season 2. It was implied at the start of Season 3 that he was captured ans sent to prison for his role in the attempted assasination of President David Palmer. He was never killed off, so there is always a chance he could return.
-
I second that. Plus, Beecher taking a shit on Schillinger's face in Season 1 of OZ after he beat him down was pretty fucking violent/gross. Actually, you could fill this thread with just about every death from every Season of OZ.

I lost my Grandmother several months back, on my birthday no less. It was probably a sign on what a shitty grandchild I was. My sympathies to you and your family.

Last year's Thursday Raw drew a 3.4. This year's drew a 3.0. Why is that so hard to believe that Impact took took away some viewers that otherwise would've watched Raw? I myself choose to watch Impact over Raw. Had Impact not been on, I probably would've watched Raw.
-
The rating Raw got last night,3.0, wasn't exactly earth shattering even with Raw being shown at a different time and day. Actually, I thought Raw would do a lot better in the ratings than what they did. Impact was another good show with the highlight being The Gauntlet Match. I read a recap of Raw and am glad I made the decision to watch Impact instead.

How do you know who wrote what skits?

Have you read that forum......... If your just talking about some of the posters on Russo's Tribute Website, then yeah, as much of a fan of Russo's work that I am, I agree that certain posters over there tend to be a bit overzelous with their views. But so do some haters of Russo.
-
Yes, because everyone who doesn't agree with your way of thinking are morons. Again, why do you watch it if you hate it so bad?
-
I do wish they would give some of the matches more time, yes. But if it means dragging out what could be a solid 5-10 minute match with boring chinlocks/armlocks to fill 15-20 minutes because The Writing Team can't be bothered to come up with enough material to fill up a 2 hour show, then I guess I'm not. Just because a match is long does not automatically make it good. See Lashley vs Kenny Dykstra on Raw this past week. Just my opinion. And if you guys hate what Russo Is doing on TNA, then why do you continue to watch?
-
If Storm was placed in charge of Creative and ratings and buyrates either stayed the same or sank, you'd be making excuses for him left and right to give him more time. He'd certainly not be subject to the same level of scrutiny that Russo is.
-
No, but that has nothing to do with the quality of The Show. I haven't purchased any Pro Wrestling PPV since 1999. I work Mid. Shift and am usually on on Sunday Nights. However, I'm 10 times more likely to buy any PPV from TNA than any from The WWE if that helps you any.
-
And if ratings sank again, Russo Haters would be all over as evidence that what he is doing isn't working. As I stated in another thread, TNA wouldn't have even needed Russo if things were firing on all cylinders to begin with. I personally could give a shit less about ratings or PPV buyrates. I judge a show on if I'm entertained or not. I tried to get into TNA before Russo came back, but I didn't find it all that interesting. Since Russo returned, I haven't missed an Impact. Something tells me I'm not the only one.
-
He can certainly talk the talk, but let's see him do that on a weekly basis.
-
I'm surprised his name doesn't ring a bell for you. Amaechi used to play his college ball at Penn State.
-
I'm guessing Lance doesn't watch any WWE shows as of late, or remembered how they handled his career. Seriously, If watching TNA gets you that upset, then don't watch it anymore. I swear there are some people who watch Impact just waiting to rip any big or little thing that Russo does. And has it occured to any of Russo's detractors that if TNA was firing on all cylinders to begin with, then Russo wouldn't be needed at all? Same could be said for when Russo went to WCW in '99.

When Abyss threw Sting threw the back door to the outside, there were apparently no cameras stationed out there. They cut to West and Tenay who were screaming to get a camera out there so they could follow the brawl. I guess they felt cutting back to the announcers would give the angle a "real, unprepared" feeling. Or something. That's the way I took it anyhow.
-
Yeah, I actually thought they were "supposed" to be looking at the monitors for when Sting and Abyss were brawling in the back?

1/25: #41, Armchair Baseball Trade Critiquing
Chazz commented on kkktookmybabyaway's blog entry in KK's Korner
Yeah, Littlefield actually made a trade that will help the team. Now that i've said that, watch LaRoche go out and be the next Derek Bell. -
Does anybody happen to know which team will be wearing their home/away jersey's?
-
Didn't Tomko wrestle Abyss a couple of weeks ago on Impact?
-
Wow, I didn't even know DeMott was still with The Company. I thought he was released a long time ago.

Yeah, don't keep us in suspense anymore! -
Shame you can't say the same thing about PPV buys, which is where the money is made. If they are not watching the t.v. shows, then how are they going to be tempted to purchase The PPV's? With the exception of WrestleMania and possibly The Royal Rumble, few purchase PPV's based on name value alone anymore.
-
The Russo haters on this forum are truly amazing. He helps to set record ratings for Impact, yet gets bashed for not yet helping PPV buyrates go up. Next thing you know the buyrates will go up, but then the haters will complain that Russo didn't do enough to help with merchandise sales or something equally stupid.
