Yeah, even Whisenhunt said in the post game interview it was clear Holmes was in.

Or the replay official. How can they not thank the true MVP behind their last 2 SB victories? That's really a retarded thing to say. It's not like The Steelers didn't have their fair share of calls go against them.

I thought I was def looking at a 14-10 at the half, and I would've been happy with a 10-10 tie. That was fucking awesome!

2001; -WCW and ECW fold. -Vince buys WCW, proceeds to bury the majority of the talent he acquired in the purchase, blows a sure fire "Invasion" angle. -Stephanie McMahon's first full year as Head Of Creative. -The WWF's programming becomes stale; Without anymore competition, the company comes acoss as if they no longer care what their fans want.
-
I don't know if I'd say he sucked, but he was probably overrated looking back. I think he got "a pass" because he worked for hip, cool, renegade ECW, and like you pointed out, actually called the matches in the ring.(Something both WWF and WCW announcers rarely did during this time period.)

What types of steps can TNA take to avoid being "WWE-Lite"? And just to be fair, what can The WWE do to change up the way they have presented their programs since The Monday Night War Era?(Another complaint that I frequently hear.) Since The Monday Night Wars/Boom Era Period, everything anymore just comes across as "been there, done that" for both promotions. There doesn't appear to be any quick fix soloutions/easy answers, or I'm sure one or both companies would've tried something different by now. Then again...

On his blog on WWE.com, ring announcer Howard Finkel called out ECW G.M. Teddy Long for just letting Matt Hardy go to SD without getting anything in return. (Fink suggested trading Hardy for M.V.P.) Looks like they will possibly be making some kind of storyline over Teddy's assinine (kayfabe) decision to just let his top star walk.

I thought you didn't visit this part of the board. I'm expanding my horizons.

I'm glad he kept this in.(so far) If it even prevents 1 terror attack from happening,(however big or small), is worth it it my opinion.

-Final Score; Pittsburgh 23 Arizona 20 -MVP; Willie Parker -Passing Leader; Kurt Warner -Receiving Leader; Larry Fitzgerald -Rushing Leader; Willie Parker

George Mason got a silent clock when he walked out of CTU in season 2 after giving up his command to Tony. Of course he was dying from radiation poison, but he didn't die until later when he crashed the plane with the nuke. I'd be really shocked if Walker is dead. At the end of "Redemption" when Jack is flying out of Africa with the refugee children, they also did the slient clock. Come to think of it, they did it in The Season 6 finale after Jack told a comatose Audrey goodbye, and nobody died there. I guess we'll see next week if Agent Walker is still alive.

If it wasn't for that MLB Strike in 1994, The Expos would've not only made their 2nd playoff appearance, but probably could've made it to The W.S. with the team they had that year. Poor Montreal.

All joking aside, I thought you might be a Browns or Bengals fan. At least if you still lived in Ohio, you wouldn't have to worry about all this pesky, never ending S.B. talk. *Rimshot* To be honest, if it was anyone other than The Steelers in The SB, I would be rooting for The Cards like (seemingly) everyone else. Oh yeah, that roughing the punter call against The Ravens was utter bullshit. But to be fair, so was that incomplete pass call against Holmes, as well as the pass interference call that led to the first Ravens TD. As far as I'm concerned, bad officiating is just part of the game.

I thought it might be a record for either coach if their respective team ends up winning The SB,(Is in terms of the shortest time as head coach), but a sportscaster here in Pittsburgh pointed out that George Seifert won a SB with The 49ers in his rookie season as head coach. If The Steelers win The SB, I believe Tomlin will be the youngest head coach to have accomplished that feat.
-
You fucking traitor! You don't want The Steelers to win their 6th SB because you'll have to deal with retarded fluff pieces on the local news?!? Petty bastard!!
-
Having a healthy Tom Brady doesn't mean The Pats automatically go to The SB,(see 2002, 2005, and 2006), or win The SB.(2007) Things may/may not have turned out differently if Brady doesn't go down, but nobody knows for sure what would have happened.

I don't ever think I've seen that guy on before, which is funny since I watch ESPN pretty often. Doesn't sound like I missed too much, though.
-
AFC Champions! I thought I was going to have to wait awhile for this again.

My former high school. Awesome.

That's all they seemed to be in recent years.
-
Anybody else surprised they didn't do Royal Rumble qualifying matches this year? I for one am glad, as those match-ups tended to be extremely predictable.
-
Steelers 13-10. I'm hoping I don't have to wait another 10 seasons, (like I did from 1996-2005), for my team to win another AFC Title and a trip to the Super Bowl.

I don't buy the guy mistook his taser for his handgun. I personally think he drew his sidearm for support,(as I've seen other police officers do hundreds of times on "Cops" in these types of situations), and in his overzelous excitement, accidentally fired the gun. If not, and this guy did in fact purposely shoot a handcuffed suspect while he was face down, I think he should go to prison for the rest of his life just for being that fucking stupid if nothing else.

You know times must be tough if shit like this happens.

About 2 years ago, William Regal and David Taylor had this awful feud with Kane for a couple of weeks on SD. It set up the return of The Bogeyman to team with Kane against Regal/Taylor as the big payoff. 'Nuff said.
