Apparently not in matchs. You can still do that in Interview/Angles; I think that's how you get a gimmick to unique, or at least that's what I think Flik told me. It'd make it a hell of a lot easier to get unique gimmicks with 100% match's for sure. Wow, did any of you guys know that Helen's coloumn on grapplefanatics.com goes 'temporarily unavailable' when you sign almost all the female workers to open contracts? 100% matches straight across is possible. I've seen it once while booking Edge and Christian in a 1998 scenario after they'd both been in development for about a year. They came out with 100/98/100 stats or so, though, so it wasn't very surprising to me. Unique gimmicks come about for me most often when I've changed a characters gimmick a couple of times in the game, but only if they talk well.

Big Name Rappers To Appear At WWE Pay-Per View?
thuganomics replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
duck 420, although you need to learn how to type, I agree with the Aesop Rock idea. Way talented artist. -
I think it has decided potential. I'm curious to see their first card.
-
Being that Teddy just opened his own promotion (see http://www.h2wrestling.com for details), I'm guessing it might not be him.
-
And Jim Shooter fronted it, so that probably helped it come off half-assed. The man needs to start writing, instead of founding nowhere companies and universes.

TNA To Start Using 6 Sided Ring For X Division
thuganomics replied to BoboBrazil's topic in TNA Wrestling
Well, apparently Court actually payed for the 6-sider, as h2wrestling is using it. Now they'll just be ripping off Teddy Hart if they bring it out. -
Everyone here obviously doesn't understand how WWE works... It'll be Lamont.
-
Yeah, I've been trying to figure out what H2 meant for awhile now. Can't seem to find it on the site either.
-
I wouldn't be surprised to see them pick up the Sunshine link again, whether or not they stay in the NE or not.
-
I've just been surfing their site, and I'm intrigued to see they are apparently affiliated with Toryumon. It'll be interesting to see what stars they decide to use.
-
Hopefully they'll be able to promote more than 7 shows over the next 2 years... Though I'm not holding my breath.

Update On Future Of Steve Austin In The WWE
thuganomics replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
Unless we can travel back in time and pluck the 1998 Stone Cold and bring him to the present, I really don't want to see Austin return to WWE. He was once a true great, and I'd rather remember him as a great talent than a boring, annoying cripple who stuns people way too much. -
I like O'Haire, but why in the blue hell is he right below the main event? I know he's a big, cool looking American, but that may be a wee bit high on the card. But then again, Inoki is psychotic, so who knows what's going through his head.

And, according, to the Observer, "Taylor" is none other than Taylor "I'm the only Tough Enough I finalist not to be hired by WWE" Matheny. I'll have to remember to regularly check out this site.

And there's a start-up in the Quad Cities: http://www.nlwrestling.com Part of NWA Midwest, and they sound like they're going to have a pretty good first show.

I pray that this means Paul London like I hope it does, but I have the nagging feeling it will be good ol' Jeff Hardy. Either way, it will be nice to see Chavo actually enter a real feud...
-
Oh hell yeah! Zsasz and I are agreeing The Comics folder will never be the same. Bah. V for Vendetta was far superior to both. As was Gruenwald's Squadron Supreme. As to Hal Jordan, it's like I said on the ComiX-Fan Board about this, he'll return as A Green Lantern not THE Green Lantern. That's still Kyle. Hal only works as Green Lantern with a large supporting cast, so I expect him to reform the GL Corps with John Stewart. Oh, and Firestorm (Ronnie Raymond) is he who will be offed during Identity Crisis, so they can replace him with the new, better Firestorm.

They supposedly are starting to realistically proportion the figures, but outside of a slightly pudgy Ric Flair in t-shirt figure, I have yet to see it.

Hey, I'm putting together an EWR scenario featuring promotions not normally featured in Rave-X's updates. So far I've added Frontier Wrestling Alliance, Internet Wrestling Syndicate, CHIKARA, and Gateway Championship Wrestling. I was wondering if there were any other suggestions for good promotions to add.

Dang it. You took my answer. Of course, I've also read the even more horrendous "I'm Next" by Bill Goldberg. He actually admits to having no clue how to work in the wrestling ring in the book. And that's the only interesting couple of paragraphs in the entire book.

Cubbies aren't on FSN, they're on WGN. Otherwise they'd be seriously screwed there. (Although most areas that get Fox Sports Chicago also get Fox Sports Midwest, so it isn't that big a deal.) Either way, this deal doesn't scream good idea to me. Part of me hopes this isn't the deathknell for TNA, but then again, at least we still have ROH. (And they could get their stars back too....)
-
We'll bring them both to your fair, for only 2.5 million dollars! Yeah, AWA is still afloat barely. Last I knew Evan Karagias was their champ.
-
Decent introduction. Although the "Someone Bought This" was much funnier.
-
I just received the new issue of PSM and its got a cover story on the new game. They got rid of the rings, but the game looks seriously tight. In depth create-a-character, 35 rappers & stars (including Lil Kim & Carmen Electra as your new hos), and end boss Snoop Dogg. All in a game designed by Aki. Yes, I am drooling over this.

To (ugh) defend JR, I think he was referring more to puro's draw in Japan which has dwindled to unbelievable lows... Ans as to Jeff Hardy, I'm not his biggest fan, but he's decent enough to rehire. I all but guaranteed he'll be in the Cruiserweight division when he resurfaces though.
