Preacher is an amazing piece of comics work. Probably, the second best extended series behind Sandman. As to starting with Sandman, I think TPB 2 (the title escapes me at the moment) is actually easier to start off for new fans. Preludes and Nocturnes is a little rough around the edges, and the small plot points it introduces aren't really important to a new reader.

Y'know, the kid doesn't have the best handle on the English language and its slang, but there really is no reason to be ripping in to him over and over for asking a simple question. Calling him ignorant, racist, & a country bumpkin kind of goes past giving him a hard time. It's close to being an asshole.

Can I just make the point that we missed maybe a minute of the Angle/Lesnar iron man match. Y'see, Smackdown is recording on Tuesday, and they just edit the commercials in. The stuff they show "during the break" is the stuff that they cut out to make it seem like it was live. That's why the iron man match started on smackdown at a quarter til the hour, but finished at the very end of the second hour.

Not too bad, but I would rather it be a three disc like Flair with several more matches. Foley had several other good matches and storylines as Cactus Jack.

Anything that'll get new people watching NWA TNA at the moment is a good thing. It's just a matter of tying in some strong wrestling to go with it to get the fans hooked.

Match: Lynn & Red v. Triple X was great. Show: Easily the Super X Cup Wrestler: AJ Styles or Chris Daniels Tag Team: Definitely XXX, although Diamond & Swinger are a close second. Feud: AJ/D'Lo. Loved those matches. Newcomer: the incomparable Chris Sabin

I read Shonen Jump monthly. I own most of the Ryoichi Ikegami library: Mai the Pyschic Girl, Crying Freeman, Sanctuary, Strain, Samurai Crusader, Spider-Man Manga; that guy can draw. Otherwise, here's a brief list of things I don't think I saw mentioned: Banana Fish Dance Til Tomorrow Gunsmith Cats Maison Ikkoku oh, and everyone who loves anime should buy the Robotech novels. They rule.

Hawkeye is amazing. Everyone should buy Fables right now. Dark Horse's Conan should rule with Busiek and Nord doing it. Oh, and they're bringing back Shi. Happy days for me!

I was about to mention Blender. Oh well. Everyone should buy her new CD "Coverage" though. Some awesome covers there.

Rap doesn't suck. I would defend this kid about pointless flaming, but he did start a goofy named thread called "What is Outkast?" so I really can't. Sorry.

You've made some... um... interesting choices. You eliminated Yokozuna who was a talented wrestler for a big man. And what the hell kind of stats does Hogan have. He's wrestled several four star + matches.... Otherwise, interesting stuff.

Abyss is a member of Special K? The Prophecy as faces still seems odd, but if it leads us to CM Punk v. Christopher Daniels I'll be very, very happy.

I'm glad I'm not the only one to see this is an obvious work. But if MLW handles it well, this could be an amazing damn build up for a pretty damn good match. I'll have to wait and see...

Man, I'd love to hear what Corino had to say about Teddy. These two are going to end up killing each other at this rate...

I don't think Mantel is that bad. At least we're not seeing run in's of the weeks and AJ Styles is a damn face like he should always have been.

I think the true question of this show is this: can Elix Skipper pull a good match out of Shane Douglas. The answer: no.

If they use him as a manager/annoying prick it will probably work. Please don't let him wrestle though. Y'know, it's a good thing Russo ain't writing anymore, otherwise, he'd end up NWA champion...

Brock Lesnar/ Chris Benoit will be at Wrestlemania. I can feel it. Otherwise, I'm guessing Rock and Foley vs. two members of Evolution. Otherwise, no clue.

I guess I don't get the big fuss about this. I've expected WWE to start this for two years now. This more than anything else was the point of the brand extension in the first place. Yes, their product needs to improve; I don't think anyone here questions that. But I think doing both a Raw/Smackdown PPV in the same month will do nothing but make them money. Sure, some people might only buy one, but others will get both, making WWE more money in the long run.

Captain America would beat Batman. Cap doesn't quit. Batman would through every damn thing up against Cap he could, and he would still not be able to stop him. Sure, Batman will probably beat Cap within an inch of his life, but somehow Cap will prevail. Batman could take out dumb Hulk no problem. If Daredevil could do it, Batman wouldn't have a worry. As to Doom, I think Bats would win pre-super mage Doom, but the current Doom might be too much for him.

The surprise was pretty spiffy. And the new music was just the same song with the helicopter portion chopped. I liked the whole copter sequence but I knew it would get cut damn fast. Either way, it was a nice surprise, despite the fact I doubt we'll see him again for several months except for maybe at the Rumble.

Luger would sell millions of fuckin copies. Everyone loves him....

Wow. You forget how much a moron Duggan is; than you see something like this. Just out of curious did anyone see his Legends of Wrestling 2 "shoot" interview where he doesn't seem to know he isn't supposed to be in character?
