Batista vs Val Venis was f'n amazing... I also remember a Leviathan/Disciples vs Venis/Lesnar/Benjamin match that was just completely insane.

I'd love to see Paul London work his way up, as I could easily see him someday becoming another HBK/Guerrero style star. And that's why I want to see them keep the Cruiserweight title as far away from his as possible, as it would probably be a deathknell for his chances to move up.

Main event should be interesting. It's the freaking main event of early Ring of Honor with SWB thrown in though, which is just f'n weird to me. Could be interesting too. And the loser leaves match has me thinking that Joey might be getting a WWE deal soon... or at least I can hope.

Jesus Christ! RF Video doing a SABU shoot!
thuganomics replied to LucharesuFan619's topic in General Wrestling
I would be interested in this shoot... if it wasn't from RF Video. I won't support Feinstein in any way, shape, or form. Good luck to Sabu, anyhoo. -
Alexis laree will be brought up whenever the hell they feel like taking the women's title in to a NEW direction. So my guess is sometime around never. But at least she got to play cards with the APA before the 60 minute iron man match on Smackdown last year.

any knowledge of who this week's hometown boy was? and the PPV won't suck, but it really doesn't have any huge match by any stretch of the imagination. The only thing good about it is the almost certain WWE title change.
-
His name is Sinn with an "i", as Synn is Jim Cornette's girlfriend and a manager in OVW. Sinn, aka Nick Cvjetkovich, aka Fatty, is actually a close friend to Edge and Christian, so his getting some WWE tryout matches isn't overly surprising.
-
But Melina HAS to be on WWE television, as she's the only minority female in WWE employ right now. That should help her keep her job for some time as well.
-
DDP's made several wrestling appearances in the last year. I know he's worked UPW and CSWF, where he worked Kanyon in his "retirement" match. And with DDP in TNA, I wouldn't be surprised to find Kanyon unretiring soon.

Edge's book was good, although I agree with a previous writer that he reiterates his web columns a little too often for my liking. I find it interesting that he and Christian have been best friends with TNA's Sinn since high school though. There's a story no one has mentioned before. I've also read Lita's book, though I didn't buy it. Other than finding out she was a former stripper and actually getting a picture of the "punk" tattoo on her inner lip, it doesn't really tell me anything I didn't already know. It's kinda brutal towards some WWE storylines though, which makes it an oddball in the current set of "WWE is beautiful" books released by them of late.

He's just waiting for WWE to bring him back in. They definitely have room on the roster now...
-
He had his final match against DDP at a CyberSpace Wrestling Show this summer. I wouldn't be surprised to see him try to make a comeback if Victory Road does well though. Especially if DDP goes to work for TNA.

I don't think anyone doubts that TNA will try to get Gunn/James vs Nash/Hall on the card as fast as possible. Personally, I'd like to see Palumbo, O'Haire, and Stamboli reunite with Mike Sanders in TNA, but I know my chances of seeing that are rather slim. But I think the Thrillers could be an awesome team now that they have a few years experience under them.

Did this really need a seperate topic as it's being discussed in the other firing thread...

WWE Release Gail Kim, Nidia, and Chuck Palumbo
thuganomics replied to spman's topic in The WWE Folder
Really? You think gray haired Bischoff will bring back WCW or something? Eh, I don't really see it happening. Though Flair leaving Evolution could be the start of it, and the WWE recently polled its fans on what they thought about Sting... I definitely see them planning to hire replacements for all these people. And the Bischoff's vacation angle seems to set him up to have some kind of "new style" comeback. Besides, he's due to be replaced as GM soon. Him as the head of a new NWO or WCW stable could be a big ploy. And with brand extension PPVs failing, couldn't you see Vince pulling the old WCW name out of the hat and seeing if two "promotions" instead of "brands" would work better? -

I doubt WWE has any plans to end the brand extension as that would involve A LOT more cuts, in roster, staff, and titles. My guess is something big is coming to RAW, while some of RAW and OVW's talent will be shifted to Smackdown. I smell either WCW, ECW, or NWO in the future. -

Maybe they're just trying to poison TNA with injured and so-so workers? -

And Danny Basham and Akio should live in fear as well... But why do I have the feeling that Scotty 2 Hotty and Hardcore Holly are somehow going to keep their jobs. -

Does anyone else see Bischoff returning with the NWO as the explanation for this. RAW's lost a massive amount of their roster (HEAT's going to be real empty...) and I could see WWE bringing in Hogan, Nash, Hall, Waltman, and, dare I say it, even Chyna, to fill these places. After all, star power is what they think they need for ratings, right? -
When you eat pain pills like they're candy, you "feel no pain" in every meaning of the word... and I still blame Vince for Davey's death.

WWE Release Gail Kim, Nidia, and Chuck Palumbo
thuganomics replied to spman's topic in The WWE Folder
WTF! Jazz, Mack, and Palumbo had a good gimmick in the works with the gangsta stick! And damn, the women's division is microscopic now. -
Declaration of Independents reports that rumors of Court Bauer's involvement is completely false, and that RF will only be involved in a recording compacity with RFVideo. Apparently the company's owned by some Japanese folks the SAT know.

The NWA-TNA Victory Road Prediction Thread
thuganomics replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in TNA Wrestling
Kevin Nash will win the main event by taking the title for his own. AJ Styles is getting the X title back. Raven over Abyss w/o Brown being pinned. Team Canada will retain do to massive interference. AMW beats Triple X and XXX break up after the match. Hector Garza or Spanky will win the 20 man. Jacqueline will probably be Trinity's opponent, though it would be nice to see a sudden appearance by Gail Kim... Roddy Piper will most likely debut DDP. -

Shocked about both Palumbo and Gail after looking at Heat and RAW, but neither have had any major role of late. The fact that the women's division now consists of Trish, Lita, Victoria, Stacy, and Molly bothers me a little though. -
I see Maven and Edge joining Evolution, while Flair turns face, thereby setting up Orton and Flair as a team (possibly the focus of a NEW Four Horsemen.)
