I think OVW isn't the problem, as having watched some of their tapes, I know their workers can perform. I think much of the problems come from the WWE Style. Orton and Lesnar were f'n cool in OVW, with some really innovative offenses. Now they pretty much use the same four moves in every match. It pisses me off. And Steve Bradley was and is an awesome competitor. He gets compared to RVD way too much, though, and with RVD in the WWE, they let one of their most promising young talents go. And one up on RVD: he actually had mic skills.

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be that Lance Storm is in a locker room leader position to solve many of these problems. And in Vince McMahon's defense (even though I hate defending him), Road Dogg, Brian Lawler, and Eddie Guerrero were all released because of substance abuse issues.

Top 10 Wrestlers of Today: 10) Edge: Cool wrestler personified. 9)Steve Bradley: The WWE completely screwed him. 8)Spanky: One of the most fun wrestlers ever. 7)Rob Van Dam: A year ago he'd been a lot higher, but still an awesome worker. 6)Christian: The most underrated wrestler in the WWE today. 5)John Cena: He wrestles; he raps. Total package. 4)Amazing Red: Totally spotalicious. 3)Chris Benoit: Greatest technical wrestler ever. 2)Kurt Angle: One of the greatest champions ever, despite his strange title reigns. 1)Chris Jericho: I'm a certified Jerichoholic. It does't get any better.

I ain't going to say he's the best, but I think Nunzio/Little Guido should have a place on any top 10 (at least of North American talent)
-
The Xanth books have lost my interest... I can only take so many puns... I'm hoping he'll pick up a new secondary series again, but he sure doesn't seem to be in any hurry...

All of RAW minus Christian, RVD, Y2J, and the women's division (althoug Trish & Jacqueline can go) +Big Show, Sable, Palumbo, and Bill deMott! from Smackdown and if Jackie Gayda ever comes back to WWE TV, she should immediately be fired as well.

It's a tie between the greatest wrestler they've never done anything with D-LO BROWN and Christian!, whom they've recently pushed only for him to be squashed next week.

Legends of Wrestling II is DEFINITELY a rent before you buy it kind of thing. Some people love it, some people hate it. My best friend despises the games control system, but I think its good, albeit a wee bit clunky. If Def Jam Vendetta had a CAW I'd so recommend that instead *SIGH*

Willow + Kennedy: Woohoo!! Otherwise, a rather shallow set up for a hopefully much better second-to-last episode.

You ever read Piers' Mode series. Very snazzy series if you can find it. His best work IMHO.

Leonardo v. Shredder at the end of "Return to New York" (TMNT v. 1 #18?). One of the best fights ever! Also Leonardo #1... Leo gets his a$$ kicked, but it takes the entire issue and he thrashes a couple hundred Foot... So very many...

Starvenger: Book 4 is actually really, really grim. Good though. What kind of fantasy are you interested in? I'm a fan of Goodkind and George R. R. Martin
-
starvenger: The problem is that its in the third and fourth book that the magic of the series really takes off. You should really give them a try. Word Life!

Boomkat "Wasting my Time" from the 8-Mile Soundtrack. Awesome Song. Word Life!

I personally think Prisoner of Azkaban was really the best bit of storytelling. Goblet of Fire does a might fine job of completely altering the status quo of the series. Word Life! Ahl

Angle's book is a pretty decent read, although it focuses more on his amateur career. (But considering he's only been a professional wrestler for about a year and a half at the time he wrote it, that ain't bad.) It's not as good as Foley's book, but is far superior than the Rock, Hulk Hogan, and Fabulous Moolah. For a really awesome read I suggest Jerry Lawler's It's Good to Be the King... Sometimes. Probably the best look at the world of seventies and eighties wrestling out there. Haven't read the Hardys' book yet, though I heard it was solid. Someone tells me it has Jeff's reasons for wanting out of wrestling too. Word Life! ahl

Ender's Shadow pales in comparison to the original. I love almost everything Card has done, but his recent Bean series has been rather dull and derivative. Just about any of his other books are better. Word Life! Ahl

Since barely anyone has mentioned them: STRANGERS IN PARADISE, ASTRO CITY, & KABUKI. Strangers is a great read, just for the fact that its set a real world with real life situations and then they just add in a little extra crazy sh!t. Astro City stands as the most fascinating look at the world of superhumans ever. Its like WATCHMEN but without the depressing anti-80's undertones. Kabuki is one of the most beautiful comics you'll ever read or see. A little hard to follow at first, but once you get it down, you'll love it. Ahl
