So, let me get this straight. Just because Victory Road's build is horrible and most of its matches are second rate, it's going to fail? Shocking... just shocking.

Holy hell. Hopefully he'll stick around and get a push...

Bendis will not be forgiven for killing Hawkeye. Ever.

isn't this a violation of WWE's deal with Viacom???

I'm actually a little annoyed about Test and A-Train getting the cut, but Billy Gunn makes me a happy camper. Please let Hardcore Holly be next...

Anyone have any good links to up-to-date Joshi related sites? It seems like just about everyone is a couple years behind on them.

The OAO "Does Booker T have a chance in Hell of
thuganomics replied to Lil' Bitch's topic in The WWE Folder
Sorry, but Booker T is most certainly going to be the transitional champion that holds it until we start yet another beyond horrible Angle/Undertaker program. Which pisses me off, because he'll no longer be the five time, five time, five time champion anymore.... -
I went to a very similar show in Cedar Rapids, Iowa last night, and the main event was pretty much similar. Sorry for anyway posting above, but the marks love Orton. He got a huge pop (although Flair and Triple H's were bigger...) when he came out and the crowd ate it up when he pinned Triple H. If the main event I watched was any clue, we're heading towards Orton vs Batista (again) and Chris Jericho vs Triple H. Flair tried his best to turn the fans against him, but for the most part his reactions were face reactions. We got a real funny bit when a guy in the first row told Batista that he hoped Orton would kick his ass and Batista started making cock sucking gestures. Simon Dean definitely has a chance to get over. Nova's a solid wrestler and his insults about Maven not being "Tough Enough" before their match were hilarious. Shelton Benjamin proved kinda bland. He needs to really pick up a few decent spots if he's going to continue to get over in WWE. He just comes off as so vanilla. And I like Christian and all but he and Benjamin just didn't put on that great of a match. Snitsky used the Derailer to win his match against Val Venis at our show. Maybe Val didn't want to take the Pumphandle Slam bump. Rhyno was WAY over. The fans went freaking crazy for him. He and Tajiri beat Palumbo and Mack soundly, and I must say Jazz has dropped some serious weight and picked up some hot damn ring attire. Why Stacy continues to get wins is beyond me. She doesn't absolutely blow in the ring, but she doesn't really deserve the number of victories she's received over Molly and Trish. All in all an enjoyable show; it will be interesting to see if the matches hinted at any storylines to come.

Diamond Dallas Page is a good bet, as I have a feeling he'll come in to lead the faces against an nWo style organization with Jarrett, Hall, and Nash.

Joker's doing CHIKARA and CZW on his leave from active duty I believe. -
CZW Presents NIGHT OF INFAMY...

If Zandig hadn't completely lost it, he's going to book a show up against Survivor Series? What an idiot. -
Cool beans. Jody Fleisch rules.

Stealing depends quite a bit on the attitude and behavior of the worker and his place in the company. High level stars in a company will not leave easily unless they have bad 'tudes, and they'll still cost mucho bucks. As a note, Arsenic Editor has an easy steal feature that will solve most of these problems.

I thought Rev Pro was closing up shop. Weird.

I'm a little surprised that Styles/Candido happened as Candido's under WWE contract now and they don't like their people working with TNA workers. Nonetheless, I may have to pick up this show on tape as it looks solid.

I highly doubt this in anyway will effect any current product releases as it has to do with an incident in 98 with money being transferred behind the WWE's back. Any current product could still be easily released and marketed, and any continuing products WWE could refuse to aid the company on, but they would then face a breach of contract lawsuit. My guess is nothing at all will be noticable from this thing. Instead, we'll get a quick out of court decision as none of these companies want to lose the cash that this lisencing deal brings in.

New Jack charged with aggravated battery
thuganomics replied to JoeDirt's topic in General Wrestling
Let me get this straight... they hired New Jack, but didn't expect a hardcore match. WTF was the promoter smoking? -
Mark My Words: Smackdown Elimination Chamber at Survivor Series. If we're pointlessly pushing Holly to the main event, it seems to be the most convenient option to get the title off of JBL. (Hopefully to Booker or Eddie, not Holly)

No one says reliable resource like the guy that held the IC title for MONTHS because he refused to drop the title to anyone. Farris is a bum, even his cousin Lawler admits it. While I wouldn't mind seeing Kane leave, I'd rather hear it from a reliable source firsth.

Can't tell you. They still hvae the MLW website but other than that I don't know. Google 'em if you're real curious.
-
H2 supposedly went under because Bauer refused to book for the reformed MLW, and WGO pulled out their financing. And FYI, WGO is a Chinese company, not a Japanese one.
-
Well, they've already announced a show for the 15th of November in Muscatine, with Zach Gowen making an appearance and Trik Davis vs Ryan Boz for the Iowa title, so I'm guessing NLW will be around for at least awhile longer. I'd still personally like to see them make their way up to Des Moines, Iowa City, or Cedar Rapids as I think they'd have better luck up here.
-
I'd say Vampiro, but he doesn't curse nearly enough.

Bret Hart has trouble walking. I don't see him making an in ring return any time soon. I think the Outsiders could give them a bump in the ratings, but not a huge one. And they'll only be helpful if they're willing to work with a Triple X or an AMW, and PUT THEM OVER. They've dropped a match to Chris Daniels before, so anything's possible. Sting or Luger won't help a bit, and a doubt a non-wrestling Austin would either. I could see a Monty Brown/Jeff Jarrett main event working to bring in buys though, especially if they book Brown soundly destroying Raven and the winner of the other half of the tournament. His Goldberg style gimmick is one of the few things that I get the impression casual fans enjoy.

Mid-carder winning the Royal Rumble??
thuganomics replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in The WWE Folder
Taker will win the title most likely, setting up Taker/Angle. Angle will pick up the title. John Cena will most definitely win the Royal Rumble, and be the man to take on Angle for the title at WM XXI.
