Yeah, it was him. He showed up in the Poochie episode (he was pointed out in the commentary on that episode) as one of Krusty's writers, too, so I guess he makes it into the batch of usable background characters. Just saw him again in the episode where Marge becomes a realtor, so yeah guess he's a regular background guy
