As far as Zbysko aligning with Jarrett, I think it was supposed to go like this: Zbysko was being ousted and decided to align with Jarrett to 'over-power' Cornette/management. But Cornette was brought in as a side-guy, not the main guy so it really didn't make sense

Don't get too excited, yes this is good news, but Spike TV has changed their minds on decisions like this. I.E. moving to primetime

A couple notes, wwe.com has an article with Edge being upset about his spot on Power25. He thinks since he is the champ he is supposed to be in the top spot, instead of No. 3. I'm betting he drops this week since he didn't even wrestle On wweshop.com there is a t shirt that says 'Vince loves' and shows a rooster/cock. On the back it says DX. When you click on the link it says the item has been removed

Well you didn't win $250K, but here's a ticket, cheap seats of course, to tomorrow night's ECW Show. I probably would have done a reverse booking and had Dreamer/Sandman match as the main event, because at least the crowd would have been more into it, instead of booing Batista and Show. But I was switching between this and the Contender, so I didn't see the majority of the show.

from PWInsider.com The open the show announcing WWE World champ King Booker vs. Undertaker and Batista vs. Ken Kennedy for later on. *William Regal beat WWE United States champ Finlay by DQ when Finlay got the shillelagh from Regal and nailed him. Long said he was excited to sign him. Montel told Long to talk to his agent on the cell phone and walked out. Long was shocked at the financial demands mentioned over the phone and said to the agent that they needed to get together soon. The MVP character seemed to be based on Cuba Gooding Jr. in Jerry Maguire. *KC James and Aaron The Idol Stevens debuted, managed by Michelle McCool, defeating Funaki and Scotty 2 Hotty. Fans began chanting "We want Raw" during the match, which no doubt will be edited off. *Backstage. Sharmell got King Booker ready for the match with the Undertaker. *In the building, they aired a music video on the WWE visiting troops overseas. *Chavo Guerrero came to the ring and said everyone wants to know why he turned on Rey Mysterio. Chavo said that Smackdown Magazine did an article on Latinos in wrestling and it was Rey on the cover in a Lowrider Los Guerreros used to come to the ring in with Eddie instead of Chavo. He said Rey wasn't a Guerrero and stole Chavo's spotlight. Chavo said Rey did everything to tie himself to Eddie to steal the spotlight, whether it was wrestling him or teaming with Eddie. He said when Eddie died, everyone felt horrible and Chavo retired. He said Rey didn't do the same and instead used Eddie's name to help himself. Chavo said that every 5 minutes, Rey was mentioning Eddie's name and dedicating all the matches to him. Chavo said when Rey won the World title, he still couldn't stand on his own. Chavo said Rey had to use another Guerrero, him, to save his title but keep the glory. He claimed Rey used Eddie's name until Chavo couldn't take it anymore at the Great American Bash and attacked him. Chavo claimed that Rey stole the memory of Eddie from the fans and his family and is a leech living off the Guerrero name. Mysterio hit the ring and they brawled in the ring and around ringside. Impact #1 - Jeremy Borash announced backstage that Sting will have Christian Cage in his corner for the match against Jeff Jarrett at the PPV. This brought out Scott Steiner and Jeff Jarrett, who complained about collusion between Christian and Jim Cornette. Jarrett complained that he wanted to talk to either Christian or Cornette. Slick Johnson came out and told them that there would be a "mandatory meeting" for them to attend with Cornette. Steiner punched out Johnson. - LAX defeated Jerrelle Clark & Chasyn Rance after a double pin. Christopher Daniels & AJ Styles appeared on the screens. AJ Styles said he wanted revenge, but Daniels said that Styles wasn't cleared to wrestle, so Daniels challenged Homicide to a singles match for the next edition of Impact. Konnan got on the mic and said LAX was going to do whatever it takes to win the tag title at the PPV. - Backstage, Jeremy Borash interviewed Samoa Joe. Joe said that Monty Brown made a mistake by getting involved in his business. Joe wondered if Brown was jealous of his success. Joe said he would take care of both Brown and Rhino at the PPV. - Backstage, Jeff Jarrett and Scott Steiner were looking for Christian Cage, but found Jay Lethal instead and attacked him. - Shane Douglas came out and cut a promo about how every great champion encounters a roadblock, and for the Naturals the roadblock is America's Most Wanted. - The Naturals defeated America's Most Wanted when Chris Harris accidentally clotheslined James Storm, allowing Chase Stevens to get a rollup on Storm. After the match, Scott Steiner and Jeff Jarrett attacked the Naturals. - Jarrett got on the mic and said he wasn't leaving until Christian came out. Larry Zbyszko came out on the ramp and said that he had just gotten off the phone with Jim Cornette. Zbyszko said Cornette had some orders, and if they weren't followed, they would suffer the same fate as Earl Hebner (be fired). One was that Scott Steiner would meet face-to-face with Jim Cornette, and the other was that Jeff Jarrett would have to leave the building for it. - Petey Williams pinned Jay Lethal with the Canadian Destroyer in a five-way match that also included Sonjay Dutt, Frankie Kazarian and Alex Shelley. I believe this match was to determine a challenger for Senshi's X-Division Title at the PPV. - Jim Cornette held his "mandatory meeting" with a group of wrestlers in the ring. He announced that at Hard Justice, America's Most Wanted vs. The James Gang vs. Frankie Kazarian & Matt Bentley vs. The Naturals would take place with the winning team getting a future title match with the winner of the LAX vs. Styles & Daniels match. He announced that Brother Runt will get his match against Abyss at the PPV. He announced Samoa Joe vs. Monty Brown vs. Rhino in a Falls Count Anywhere three-way at the PPV. Cornette then announced that on next week's episode of Impact, Jay Lethal, Chris Sabin & Sonjay Dutt will face Alex Shelley, Johnny Devin & Kevin Nash. - Cornette then had everyone leave except for Christian and Scott Steiner. Cornette said he was placing them in a match against each other on Impact the following week, and if either man was able to eliminate the other so they couldn't be at Hard Justice, then so be it. Christian and Steiner exchanged words, then Christian left, but a "fan" in a Sting mask pulled Christian over the rail and attacked him. The fan turned out to be Jarrett, and he and Steiner laid out Christian to end the show. Impact #2 - Rhino came out and talked about his Falls Count Anywhere match with Samoa Joe and Monty Brown at the PPV. This led to Monty Brown attacking Rhino in the crowd. Brown gets on the mic and talks about the Falls Count Anywhere match, and Samoa Joe comes out and starts brawling with Brown. Rhino gets back in the ring, and all three men brawl with security coming in to break it up. - Brother Runt came out with a sign that said "Come Get Me Abyss". Abyss didn't come out. He later was walking through the crowd with the sign. - Chris Sabin, Sonjay Dutt & Jay Lethal defeated Alex Shelley, Johnny Devine & Kevin Nash when Sabin hit the Cradle Shock on Devine for the pin. During the match, Jerry Lynn came out on the ramp to watch. - Homicide defeated Christopher Daniels. Konnan distracted the referee and Hernandez ran in and gave Daniels an overhead suplex to set up the pin. LAX then attacked Daniels, but AJ Styles made the save with a chair before Homicide could give Daniels the Cop Killer (Vertebreaker/Kudo Driver). - Abyss defeated Shark Boy with the Black Hole Slam. Brother Runt appeared above an entranceway during the match. After the bout, Jim Mitchell sent Abyss after Runt, but Runt dove off the entranceway and gave Abyss a flying bodypress as he was coming up the ramp. They fought into the ring, and Runt laid out Abyss with an Acid Drop. - Christian vs. Scott Steiner ended in a no-contest. Jim Cornette was at the announce table for the bout. Jeff Jarrett ran in, but accidentally hit Steiner, and the referee called for the bell. Jarrett & Steiner then attacked Christian, and Jarrett put Christian in the Scorpion Deathlock. The lights went off and then came back on, and Sting had Jarrett in the Scorpion Deathlock. Christian and Sting ran off Steiner and Jarrett to end the show. Xplosion Matches: - Gail Kim defeated Sirelda with a rollup. - The James Gang defeated Frankie Kazarian & Matt Bentley when Kip pinned Kazarian. After the match, the James Gang got on the mic and talked about winning their match at Hard Justice and going on to win the tag team title. LAX then attacked the James Gang, and they brawled to end the show.

If you missed it last night, Tina Fey was on Leno and announced she would not be returning this season because her new show, 30 Rock will take up most of her time. NBC announced their primetime schedule for the fall, I took this article from tv.com Network pres says peacock will be a potent contender this fall; hints at SNL revamp. LOS ANGELES--Check the rearview mirror, eye. Get crazy, Fox. Spell relief, alphabet. The peacock is mounting an attack. Studio 60 at the TCA. NBC president Kevin Reilly, speaking today at the Television Critics Association summer press tour in Pasadena, California, said his network won't end next season bringing up the rear. "We've been sweating like pigs trying to get out of a stiff headwind," Reilly said. "But I gotta tell you: I feel a shift in the winds coming, and I think our ill-fated three-hour tour is about to come to an end." NBC, once the home of "must-see TV" and perennial number one network, has suffered a severe downturn in its fortunes since the 2003-2004 season, when Friends went off the air. Since then, the net has fallen to fourth place and has seen its ad revenue, which stood at $2.9 billion, dip to $1.9 billion in each of the past two years. Reilly says that's going to change. "Our fall is going to look pretty potent. We have six new shows that all could break out. Our ratings will definitely be better," he predicted. "We will not be mired in fourth week after week. We will be a challenger in many time periods." Reilly hinted that stalwart sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live, which saw ratings slump this season, might get some revamping. "You'll see a tightening of the cast," he suggested. "[it will] a be new show for a new generation." NBC has two new shows parodying SNL--Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, from West Wing creator Aaron Sorkin, and 30 Rock, from SNL writer Tina Fey. Sorkin, speaking separately at the TCA, said his show would differ from Fey's. "I'm going to take Tina's idea and add twice as many words to it," he said to laughter. Sorkin, who in 2001 pled guilty to possession of crack cocaine and other drugs, cracked wise about his feelings on TV's unhealthy influence in society. "I think it's [like] bad crack in the school yard," he quipped. "Why did I use that line?" Full TV.com article While I hate Tina Fey will be gone from SNL, I am interested in her new show. As for SNL being 'revamped' Guess I'll give my opinion in October

I know this has been reported in the Movies forum, but The Marine is scheduled to release October 13th
-
WWE.Com reports Lashley has been medically cleared to return to action
-
If you replace the prison match with the diva search, Dean and Grenier's matches, this is Sunday night's show
-
So I didn't get the entire prediction correct, and it isn't official since the GAB match wasn't for #1 contendership after Henry's injury, but it goes to show the thing was most likely a work
-
Wow 4 pages, and nothing since Hardy-Helms match? So fat the show has been decent in my book.
-
Three new t shirts. One is a direct parody of DX.
-
WWE might use Khali's removal as part of a storyline. Thus they didn't mention anything. Or maybe they see it as bad publicity to announce three people have been pulled from the show
-
What's next? Booker won't be able to make it to the show?
-
Tv.com has an article on Lost, it gives out rumors that Abrams might be leaving after this season to do more movies. http://www.tv.com/story/story.html&sto...adlines;title;0

You're missing the big news...The Highlanders will be RAW's tag champs
-
When Booker wins on Sunday, will the name plate actually say 'King Booker'?
-
WWE have postponed their tour in Israel due to the bombings.
-
Put Batista in the title match by default. Have him win, have a rematch with Rey on Smackdown, Have Chavo cost Rey the match, setting up Batista vs. Booker for the belt, and Chavo/Rey at Summerslam
-
It's probably leading to Kennedy vs. Hardy rematch at GAB
-
I didn't like Kristen, I thought Rebecca was cute but didn't get the whole 'stomp and kick around in my cowboy boots' thing, Ty probably knew he was staying before he even did his set. Phyllis Diller (don't remember her last name) has the worst laugh..well it's really a honk. And how about that surprise cameo by Jim Norton!
-
It was cool when the DX music started, then just died. They were setting up a net to land on them? C'mon that' was stupid in '98 in WCW, it's sort of funny on cartoons, but it's really lame now
-
Todd Grisham is a goof. Why is he trying his deep announcer voice?
-
That chairshot from behind was so bad it was funny.
