Karo took down Diego more then once with his judo throws, and usually by UFC standards takedowns count as points. I gave the 1st 2 rounds to Karo. Either way, I think there should be a rematch in 07. Yeah Karo took down Diego with his throws...and then landed on his own back due to the momentum.

Contsant jump scares? Well what other kinds of scares were you expecting them to go for? It's pretty obvious that this is the type of movie that uses this tactic, yet at least they use it to their full advantage. Characters scaring eachother for no reason? I have no idea what you're talking about here... In actuality it sounds like you're just overcompensating with your "hatred" for this movie because you can't seem to understand why it's getting so much praise. As I said I don't remember exact details since it was more than a year since I saw it but one of the characters actually died due to the stupid "characters must scare each other for no god damn reason" rule in most crappy horror movies. It's suposed to be some big dramatic reveal when it happens too but all it comes across as is a cheap ploy. Should I honestly care that one character was stupid enough to tap the other girl on the back while she was ferociously killing one of the monsters? How about just saying her name to get her attention? And jump scares should be used in moderation or they become tedious. I only hate this movie because of the praise it's getting. It's not just that the majority of people and critics are saying that this is a good movie, it's that they're saying it's a masterpiece of horror with great depth which pisses me off. I could easily sneak up behind you and blow an airhorn in your ear, causing you to jump. I bet it would get you every time too. Would that make me a master of horror?

Just a terrible movie all around. I still don't know why it's getting all this praise. Constant jump scares and characters scaring each other for no reason are some of the worst things a horror movie can have. This movie had tons of it. Hell, if there was a mirror in the movie they probably would have pulled that "look in half opened mirror, close the mirror and some monster/person appears in the full view accompanied by loud sound" bullshit. Actually...that might have even happened in the movie. I saw it last year and don't remember much except being so incredibly angry at it. I've never hated a movie so much in my life.

...It was from an illegal elbow. The only reason it wasn't an automatic NC is that it was a tournament.

Oh shit, Silva actually missed a punch on Leben's way down.

This is the same fighter who would rock Hoger with punches, then proceed to take him down and do nothing besides let Hoger recover and work submissions.

Of course they did. There's really no need to watch it again to make sure. It was only the final knee that was blocked but still dropped Leben anyway.

It's also awesome that Silva TKOd both Leben and Rivera with a knee to their forearms. Everyone is saying it's a KO but it's not. In both fights, Silva beat them up and then finished them off with a knee that just dropped them due to pain instead of knocking them out.

Most people assume that Silva is just "fast" and not powerful because of his skinny build. Why the hell can't he be both? I've seen most of his fights and his punches have never looked weak. Some of his best striking exchanges have come from his punches and not from his kicks or knees like most people would think. It's just like that bullshit about the "small" guy being faster and more technical than the "stronger" big guy. People always think in black and white. Well what if the big guy is stronger, faster, and more technical than the smaller guy? Then the little guy is fucked. I blame Bruce Lee and the martial arts explosion in America during that time.

Now just imagine that fight with stomps and soccer kicks allowed.
