The Talent That's Going To Miss Out on SS...

I could see Spanky after what happened on Smackdown, but as much as I want him on PPV, putting ultimo in the ring with Brock and Big show is just gonna make the offense Ultimo will be able to work on these guys destroy a lot of credibility for pretty much all involved. Plus the fact I hate it when wrestlers who have been feuding as long as Big Show and Brock team up out of nowhere.

The Talent That's Going To Miss Out on SS...

Problem with Cena vs Angle is that until Brock and Angle are done all else will come off as secondary to it. Another tainted victory isn't gonna help Cena out if it's just Brock run-in after Brock run-in.

The Talent That's Going To Miss Out on SS...

I think Cena should start a program against pretty much anybody in the US Title picture. It's not main event but it gives him a chance to actually win a few matches and I think a couple of more matches with Eddy and Benoit couldn't do anything but help Cena get a little bit better.
  4. On an unrelated note* Hell, I put the thing in my sig and it still scares the hell out of me when I'm not paying attention. It just doesn't beat Dutchmen's Fish though.
  5. That pretty much sums it up.

EWR 4.0 Has Officially Been Set Free!

You have to get a 80% rating to stay constant on your PI, and 90% to get any real growth.
  7. Sorry if it looked like I was pointing at you, but I heard losts of people in the past bitch about this same thing before. So I hope alls cool. EDIT: I don't think they should have beaten him per say, but to be manhandled by someone with no real longterm future to stroke his ego just makes no damn sense. Which means its WWE through and through.
  8. I think Taker will need a screwjob to die the way he's been lately. What it boils down to is creative sucks, if somebody had the freedom to book smartly we wouldn't be having these dicussions. Blaming certain wrestlers for being pushed isn't right when almost everybody has no input to their character. EDIT: Yeah Taker sure made A-Train and Bigshow, probably two of the strongest heelson Smackdown at the time, over at Wrestlemania by beating the crap out of bothe of them singlehandedly.
  9. I'm not trying to be arguementative because Like I said A-Train isn't one of my favorites at all. In fact RVD is one of my favorites with all his faults, its just I defend those who I think get shit on unjustly.
  10. Well, how great has his push really been huh? When you compare him to the great monsters of the past(which he is better in the ring than most) he's never had the chance to get pushed any more than half assed. Beat up Mysterio, then dissapear to velocity for two months, interfere in a Taker match to be squashed at the PPV. Not every wrestler can be A world Class worker, but its hard to be much of anything when the blantantly show your weeknesses and don't use your positives to their fullest(Which is true with almost everybody in WWE nowadays). In a ideal world everybody would be used correctly so we wouldn't have to complain about whos getting pushed and who isn't but since this isn't true don't fault him for management's half assed push. EDIT: Why do I keep getting involved in the defense of A_train, he isn't even in my top 20 favorites in WWE now
  11. ^Thanks for your support even if you don't agree with me. What I'm saying is that even if A-Train was busting out *** star matches every time he came out people would still rag on him. Anytime any of the smark hated(I.E. Goldberg, A-train, Triple H, and a couple of others) does anything well it's totally brushed aside. They will then ignore the obvious defects of the smark darlings and high five each other when you get sick of defending your opinion.

    Hurricane and S.H.I.T.

I've heard some rumors already that the S.H.I.T. is going to lead to Hurricane leaving the superhero gimmick to Rosie and have a revamped Helms become a strong candidate to win the intercontinental title. I think it could work well by keeping the gimmick alive with someone with less longterm possibilities while leaving Helms a chance at better things. Any comments?
  13. Nobody will listen to any positives about A-Train. If Vader in his prime was on Smackdown now we'd be getting the same basic "he sucks", maybe not to the same extremes, but they'd be there.

    Bautista Returns!

Well, he might be in Evolution because Triple H said in a recent interview he was gonna get Orton and Batista over no matter what. That being said if they don' t change his gimmick it won't matter much. And in all honesty if he hasn't cut down on the steroids he will just injure himself again real soon.

The Talent That's Going To Miss Out on SS...

I can't remember where I heard it, but I think the average payoff for a lowercard match on one of the big PPVs is between 8-12 thousand. So by not being on the card they are taking money away from the talent and by not being on PPV come off as being lesser than the people who are on PPV all the time.

    Smackdown screwed

Didn't see you post before posting mine. Just going off on the information that was given. This means maybe only 10-12% at most will be unable to see Smackdown tonight. Oh the horror. They won't be able to see the McMahon's lastest blunders.

EWR 4.0 Has Officially Been Set Free!

In my NWATNA game before everybody went drug-crazy, I found it much better to try and get a real tv show instead of weekly ppv. It allows more booking spots, better money from sponsors, and helped me destroy WWE in less than 4 Months.

    Smackdown screwed

Yeah, we all now only the people on the east coast matter and all others suck the engorged phallus of IDRM.

RVD TALKS ABOUT POLITICS IN WWE

When I was at an autograph signing, I asked RVD if he plans on resigning with WWE when his contract expires. The look in his bloodshot eyes spoke clearer than any amount of words. There was a look of being caged and unappreicated, of having his worth squashed. Either that or it was the BC Bud you could smell of him a mile away.

The Talent That's Going To Miss Out on SS...

The Matt Hardy situation is really sad. He watches everyones matchs, studies tapes, came up with a gimmick that got him over as the talented Hardy, made a deal with Satan evidently to improve his mic skills, and because he made some comments about the creative team and got on Johnny Aces's bad side he constantly gets f'd over.

    5 years later

I was actually able to watch this PPV free. I guess the cable company messed up and didn't encrypte it. That being said, it was a long time before I watched WCW again.

    The Shockmaster

Personally, I thought the funniest thing about the Shockmaster is that they pretaped the shows back then 2 weeks ahead of time at least, yet they still aired it when they could have easily reshot it.

What's so bad about Randy Orton?

Its already been said in this thread how there are some comparisions with the Rock. And just like the Rock, hes a good looking well-toned young man that has strong potential. When , not if, he gets over, you will have a great spokesman for public relations, a prettyboy who could be able to get heat similar to HBK back in the day, and if he's given the chance to flesh out the character slightly, a new fresh face in the upper to main event card leading to new matches, getting rid of some of the stagnation. If Randy is even 1/4 as successful as the Rock was, the investment will have had paid off. And though I'm not the biggest fan of Orton himself, I like the fact that their not using the even booking where you win one show to lose at the next one, which kills the ability for anyone to get over, for even the biggest stars, this is true.

What's so bad about Randy Orton?

It seems that very few of you understand the basics of business. The possibilities that Orton will earn money in the future far outways his supposed lack of overness now. And WWE is doing the right thing here, by not jobbing out a potential superstar. It's much harder to erase the stigma of being a jobber than it is put him over people who are seen as such already. Randy Orton probably wouldn't be the person I would of chose for this myself, but by pushing him they are actually showing signs of thinking of the future.
