  1. You can't prove anybody could be a draw. People have shit on stuff that should have gotten over with ease while supposrting guys(Goldberg, RVD, Ultimate Warrior) that shouldn't have gotten over to the degree that they did. Heyman said once "What works works," and Meltzer said if you don't push somebody when the fans want them the won't get behind it to the same degree.

  2. I remember people bashing Goldberg because he hadn't drawn any money in over two years. While a fan of RVD myself he isn't a draw right now. Anybody if used correctly could draw, it's just that there is no one, besides maybe Kane right now, that can draw with the way they are being used.

  3. Alexis was the same way for me. In the beginning of my NwaTna game, she was more over than Raven until abut the 3 month mark. Then I accidently changed her gimmick to Big Friendly Giant which evidently was enough to get her to sign with WWE. AMW got themselves up to 90's in overness when I was almost jobbing them out to get Shortbus(with slightly raised stats) over 30 over.

  4. If you were just gonna ignore any opposition to your opinion why start the topic ;) ? While it was a big spot Lesnar will be involved in many top spots over the years and the ssp will eventaully only be remembered by smarks like us.

EDIT: sorry my smilie disapeared

  5. I asked Hennig about the shooting star after seeing that clip from OVW. Brock and Hennig were pretty good friends before and after the flight from hell incident. In fact Hennig was one of the big reasons Brock went to WWe.

Ok, I do need to clarify my previous quote. It is a respect matter to the veterens backstage. If someone wishes to use a move similar or even identical to an existing finisher, they must first ask the person who has claim to the move the longest. Moves like DDTs, moonsaults, and powerbombs, and chokeslams have been fairly freely used because their origins have been quite a bit in the past. About the Crash thing, I believe it was only a bulldog off the middle rope. The frog splash was different because Eddy , Van Dam, and D'lo had been doing it for many years. The Brock issue with the SSP was a relative newcomer taking a veterans sole claim to fame without getting permission or even asking.

  6. I talked to Curt Hennig before he passed away and I asked him about Brock's Shooting Star Press. He told me it is lockerroom law to avoid using the finisher of another guy in the same company. So quit complaining anout the F-5 quote because Brock was disrespectful in that regard. I know Kidman didn't invent the move, but it is his finisher in WWE.

  7. I usually try to catch Dave Meltzer's Wrestling Observer Live and Live Audio Wrestling as often as possible. WOL is usauuly pretty good, they have Raven on a lot and he's probably the best guest besides Jim Cornette. Only problem is it isn't archived, so you miss it and it's gone. LAw isn't as good but its archieved if you miss it. They do have an noticable canadian look at wrestling which sometimes good, sometimes very bad. Both are on tonight, check http://www.liveaudiowrestling.com/wo/ for WOL and http://www.liveaudiowrestling.com/ for the Law.

  8. Yeah, I had that same thing happen to D'lo, a gimmick change or turn puts a stop to it. Also, I declared war ofn ROH for their theft of Daniels. I was able to get a show on the same day as their main, signed away Whipwreak(which gave a huge morale boost to a lot of my upper-midcard), and donated 6 million to MLW their closest enemy.
