I'd be shocked if Ben Wallace left the Pistons.

How can you "fucking hate Shaq"? Seriously he seems like one of the nicest guys around in every interview or television spot he does. I agree with VX though, while I dislike Kobe, it's no where near what people seem to feel toward the guy. Personally I just think he's a cocky ass, but that's not anything to go hating on him over.

I'd kill myself before rooting for that group of shitheads (minus Zo, still don't know why he gets so much hate).

I got a pair of flip-flops at a Marathon gas station free with a fill up about 2 - 2 1/2 years ago. Still wear those 90% of the time. Either that or cons as well.

You'll be fine, quit bitching.

The Top 50 NBA Players of My Generation

I'm now done with this thread. I don't know how many times I have to put down that Pippen only has those rings because of Jordan. Comparing Kobe to Pippen must be a joke. Really. -
Yeah but you know that if you switched Rip with Duncan, and Sheed with Bowen, that would be called a foul 10/10 times without hesitation.

His second list had "career value" as one of the factors for his list. Isn't winning a championship part of having a great career? Someone else brought up the Dan Marino question already. I'm a Dolphins fan, my earliest memory of the NFL was seeing Marino play, I would (with admitted bias) say he's the greatest QB never to win a Super Bowl. Still... because he hasn't won I doubt I'd put him in my top 5 or so (note that I haven't really made such a list). -
That's a sweet 'stasch there Joe-Bob.

I saw Horry do that three times in game 5. To me undercutting is just as bad as roll blocking in football. Even if he was going for the ball he still hit him in the face man. I don't get why you're okay with that?
-
Well he did slap his face shield off of his face after the whistle, if that's not flagrant I don't know what is.
-
So it's okay to slap someone in the face if the whistle has been blown?
-
Picked other. It's the "I'm getting some" thread. No you are not Mister! You go to your room and think about what you've said young man. Stay there until you can be honest with us.

Thanks for the prompt answer Fluffy DeLorean Richdale/Patrick/Kotz! Speaking of Taco Bell, my second question is this: What is in the meat there that is so damn yummy?

This is my favorite brewery: http://www.bellsbeer.com/ It's a Michigan micro so I don't know if you can find it many other places. I have found it on tap in Chicago in a few places though so you never know.

The One and Only Batman Begins thread

Can someone tell me how close they were to the comic Ra's Al Ghul in this movie? I'm somewhat familiar to Batman, but I can't say that I've ever read a comic with him in it. Perhaps someone could recommend an arc with Ra's? -
Great game last night, with the Pistons hanging on to win another tough game (at least we've had two anyway). A couple things: 1. Rip gets slapped in the face, completely pulling off his face shield - no foul called. Seriously what the hell is up with the refs? Bowen grabs, slaps, clutches and shoves him all game, and somehow they miss his smacking Rip in the face? It's not like it was away from the ball, RIP HAD THE BALL. 2. What was the technical foul called on the Pistons bench in the second quarter? I couldn't tell what they were calling?

So wait.. 44 million isn't enough? Okay Latrell. I'd take Horry's 5 rings and 44 mil anyday. -

But my point is that WINNING (and by that I mean championships) has a large part in whether player A is better than player B. That's what I have said over and over. I really don't know how to put it better. -

Because Pippen never won anything without Jordan. My whole point is that Jordan made him what he is, and because of Jordan people overrate Pippen enormously. Duncan has proven he can win just fine without Robinson by the way. -

So Championships aren't factored in? Why do they play basketball? To score a lot of points? If so then AI should be at or near the top. Assists? Where's Scott Skiles then? Rebounds? You have Rodman at 42! Championships. That's what matters. Malone had one of the best pure point guards ever on his team and somehow couldn't get it done.
