Yeah I agree, hard to call it a choke when you lose a 10 run lead or something like that. That's just a great comeback by the team that uh.. came back. Yeah.
-
I love it, I hope Heidenweiner destroys random wrestlers uh.. randomly for a while. Not just cruisers though, would be great to see him just kill someone like OJ or Haas as well (okay not Haas, but only because I'm a Haas mark).

10th in Barcelona and 14th in Atlanta.

Um, he doesn't have the Light Heavyweight title... Anyway I like the whole deal as well, still think he needs to put on a shirt though.

I couldn't agree with this state ment more. Ditto 100%. Blah, don't agree with DH, I said it a mere 3 minutes before him

This does bother me a little bit, but I have a much bigger problem with them talking about another wrestler/angle/match during a mid-lower card match. I personally think THAT is a big reason that they have a hard time building up new stars. THEY ONLY TALK ABOUT THE 3-4 TOP GUYS EVER!

Bah, that's not a pad, it's cardboard!

Which means there will be at least two run-ins. I can't possibly be the only person that LIKES the Bashams?? -

Could be decent, Dupree/Jordan might be horrendous but the rest looks good. -
As far as the getting old thing goes I look at it differently. First I had to see all of the college players being younger than me. Now... I'm getting to the point as to where the pro guys are mostly my age and younger. (ugh)
-
So how many teams had 2 guys from the offensive line be in the pro bowl in back to back seasons? Making the pro bowl doesn't make you good, it makes you great (especially on the line where there is usually no popularity contest factor involved).
-
Ah that is so much bullshit, Barry had plenty of good players on his O-Line.. Lomas Brown - 6 straight pro bowls Kevin Glover - 3 straight pro bowls That's not good? Anyway Barry kicked lots of ass but I prefer the Earl Campbell type myself.

alkeiper, I really enjoy these, keep it up eh? A couple questions though: Can you go into this a bit more? What do you mean by similar? Play style, stats? What does OPS+ stand for and how is it calculated?

Just gonna put a top three, my damn memory is too shitty to go any further than that: 3. Metalli-Guns tour (whatever the fuck it was called, can't remember the year either) at the Pontiac Silverdome. Faith No More opened up and kicked all sorts of ass, and were a big reason I went. I still can't believe how freaking awesome Metallica sounded live. If I didn't know better I would have sworn they were lip-synching. GNR took almost an HOUR to set up, then Axl proceeded to sound like the worst American Idol reject of all time. God he fucking sucked. Faith No More totally blew GNR off the stage imo. 2. Korn at some shitty radio station festival before they blew up. I had never heard of them at the time and got free tickets to this festival on top of a parking structure. Luscious Jackson played on the second stage there, and I bought their CD right then, loved their set. Then I hear that Korn is getting ready. First thing I hear? Bagpipes. Being the beer drinking shit kicking half Irish half Scottish metal head that I am I was instantly intrigued. I made my way to the pit to find the place fucking going NUTS OVER BAGPIPES!!!! Korn proceeded to tear the fucking place down with an incredible set that saw (of our group of 5) 2 busted lips and a broken wrist from the insanity of that pit. 1. Iron Maiden/Dio with Motorhead opening. Do I really have to explain?

The original Dragonlance trilogy. Add another vote for Ender's Game, at some point I might pick up the other Ender books, but I'm just afraid they are going to ruin the greatness that is Ender's Game.

I just wish my Tigers would go get an ace *insert Big Unit pipe dream here*...

I'd put Coach K at the top. While I admit (rather grudgingly) that he is a good coach and a great recruiter, the verbal blowjobs he gets from ESPN, and Dickie V in particular are obscene, and should not be seen by children under the age of 13.

I had to look Danny Williams up, his record since 1995: 31 Wins, 3 Losses, 26 Knockouts 1995 10-21 -- Vance Idiens, London, England, KO 2 12-09 -- Joey Paladino, London, England, TKO 1 1996 02-13 -- Alvin Miller, London, England, TKO 1 03-09 -- James Wilder, Millstreet, Ireland, W 4 07-13 -- John Pierre, London, England, W 4 08-31 -- Andy Lambert, Dublin, Ireland, TKO 2 11-09 -- Michael Murray, Manchester, England, TKO 1 1997 02-08 -- Shane Woollas, London, England, KO 2 05-03 -- Albert Call, Manchester, England, TKO 4 07-19 -- Roger McKenzie, London, England, TKO 2 11-15 -- Bruce Douglas, Bristol, England, TKO 2 12-19 -- Derek Amos, New York, NY, TKO 4 1998 02-21 -- Shane Woollas, Belfast, Northern Ireland, TKO 2 05-16 -- Juan Antonio Díaz, London, England, KO 3 10-10 -- Antoine Palatis, London, England, W 12 1999 04-03 -- Julius Francis, London, England, L 12 10-02 -- Ferenc Deák, Namur, Belgium, KO 1 12-18 -- Harry Senior, London, England, W 12 2000 02-19 -- Anton Nel, Essex, England, KO 5 05-06 -- Michael Murraym, Frankfurt, Germany, KO 6 06-24 -- Craig Bowen Price, Glasgow, Scotland, KO 1 09-23 -- Quinn Navarre, London, England, TKO 6 10-21 -- Mark Potter, London, England, TKO 6 2001 06-09 -- Kali Meehan, London, England, TKO 1 07-28 -- Julius Francis, London, England, TKO 4 12-15 -- Shawn Robinson, Ledyard, CT, TKO 2 2002 02-12 -- Michael Sprott, London, England, TKO 7 09-17 -- Keith Long, London, England, W 12 2003 02-08 -- Sinan Samil Sam, Berlin, Germany, TKO by 6 04-26 -- Bob Mirovic, London, England, TKO 4 09-26 -- Michael Sprott, Berkshire, England, TKO 5 2004 01-24 -- Michael Sprott, London, England, L 12 04-01 -- Ratko Draskovic, London, England, TKO 1 05-13 -- Augustin N'Gou, London, England, TKO 3

Let's go ahead and look at some of the "other" Bulls: 91-92 B.J. Armstrong Stacey King Will Perdue Craig Hodges Cliff Levingston Scott Williams Bobby Hansen Mark Randal 92-93 Scott Williams Stacey King B.J. Armstrong Will Perdue Rodney McCray Cory Williams Darrell Walker JoJo English 95-96 Bill Wennington Luc Longley Jud Buechler Dickey Simpkins Ron Harper Jack Haley 96-97 Jason Caffey Luc Longely Randy Brown Bison Dele Scottie Pippin is the single most overrated athlete ever to lace up a pair of sneakers. For that guy to be in the top 50 (any top 50) basketball players of all time is a joke, plain and simple. Horace Grant was an average to above average role player who played his role well. The bottom line is that Michael Jordon took that collection of losers (and then some, I didn't list everyone) to more rings than John Stockton and Karl Malone combined to win. MJ was just that good. Simply the greatest to ever play the game, anyone who argues against that is either blind or a fool or both.
-
Phil Jackson is the most overrated coach of all time. His game plans: Phil: "Okay, Michael, you score. Everyone else, move around a lot and look busy." Phil: "Feed the ball to Shaq, every play, just give it to him." Wow so impressive.
-
Bobby Cox isn't in the top 500 of the last 25 years. He'd be overrated, but that would mean that anyone not a Braves fan would have to actually rate him somewhere. Seriously his ability to turn a powerhouse into a nearly could have is absolutely astounding.

Wow I consider myself to be a boxing fan and I don't even know who he is fighting (didn't know he even IS fighting at that).
