I run a mule rental business.

Canseco was right, shocking... I wonder who else he was right about hmmm....
-
Maybe so that his opponents don't know the extent of his injury and plan accordingly?
-
Uh no. It actually means it's 85%. He said he was aiming to be 100% by opening day, not training camp. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Right, because athletes never lie about injuries and progress rehabbing them to the press. Sure.

Which makes me that much happier that MSU doesn't have to play them this year.
-
The only conference that I really know anything about at this point of the year is the Big 10. I'd have to agree with all above who picked Iowa to win it. They went 10-2 last year with having like 4 RBs get injured. They really only lost Matt Roth from a strong defense and I think that their offense is pretty much all back as well.

I see Miami winning 7-8 games this year. Detroit should make the playoffs after winning their division. NY Jets are going to be in trouble if the reports about Pennington's shoulder are true. Apparently he said that it is at about 85% right now. Which probably means closer to 50% in reality. Jay Fiedler is the backup. Yeah, the same guy who wasn't good enough for a team that won 4 games last year. Cinncinnati will make the playoffs as a wildcard.

Another greenhorn injures Stevie Richards
Crimson Platypus replied to Enigma's topic in The WWE Folder
Without seeing what happened how can you seriously blame the guy for Stevie's injury? It was a toss over the ropes spot, it's my understanding (without any wrestling training whatsoever) that it's the person taking the bump's responsibility to take it in a way that won't cause themself injury. All the Boogeyman did was "toss" him, Stevie took the bump. -
I was still cheering wholeheartedly for the Sheriff whilst he was torturing Baby. Sick fucks like Baby, Otis, and Spaulding deserve shit like that.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Classic.

Basketball actually:

Birdie Kim changed her name to that though. That shouldn't count. Bam Morris

Comparing the three year averages for Ward and Harrison says he deserves plenty: Harrison: 108 catches, 1369 yards, 12.7 YPC, 12 TDs Ward 96 catches, 1165 yards, 12.1 YPC, 9 TDs Looks pretty damn similar to me. I don't get why he turned down that contract though. Harrison is a better WR, but not by much, Ward getting paid just under what Harrison makes seems pretty fair to me.

I'm scared just thinking about that, what did you eat/drink/ingest to bring about that abomination??
-
I really hope people didn't go into this film expecting to find some oscar worthy performances or whatever.

Salim is a pure shooter that's for sure. From my admittedly small exposure to him he's not much of a defender though. He can handle the point okay, but I'm not sure I'd ask him to do so in the NBA. As long as they only ask him to score I think you're right about that pick.

Need a reliable product to pass a drug test
Crimson Platypus replied to Matt Young's topic in General Chat
What Matt said is true, but generally only for heavy pot smokers. If you are a casual smoker (once a week-ish) then 2-3 days should clean you out. Again, drink tons of water during those 2-3 days leading up to your physical and you will be fine. -
Count me in that league of lovers of grindhouse films. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And me. But... a million times hotter? I can't get on board with that. Sorry but no. Everything else? Yeah.

But hype is just that, from dictionary.com: Excessive publicity and the ensuing commotion: the hype surrounding the murder trial. Exaggerated or extravagant claims made especially in advertising or promotional material: “It is pure hype, a gigantic PR job” (Saturday Review). An advertising or promotional ploy: “Some restaurant owners in town are cooking up a $75,000 hype to promote New York as ‘Restaurant City, U.S.A.’” (New York). Something deliberately misleading; a deception: “ [He] says that there isn't any energy crisis at all, that it's all a hype, to maintain outrageous profits for the oil companies” (Joel Oppenheimer). I mean really... It's just bullshit, likely spread by UNC alum and Williams' agent to get him drafted much higher than he should have been. Is it really just me or what?
-
With the exception of Crab this is exactly what I hate.
-
I still don't get that pick at all. That or the huge hype behind Marvin Williams. I never saw anything great from him at all. Chris Paul would have made SOOO much more sense there.

August 1st - 11:05 pm et Unleashed - Spike TV Ivan Salaverry vs. Tony Fryklund Ivan Salaverry vs. Joe Riggs Chris Leben vs. Jason Thacker Josh Koscheck vs. Chris Sanford Nate Quarry vs. Lodune Sincaid Is that a typo or is this not a live thing? I haven't been able to catch this yet...
-
True, and don't get me wrong, I'm not dogging him at all. It's entirely possible he is pretty good. Still, until he proves it, I don't know that I would trade a lottery pick for him.
-
The whole "skilled" thing remains to be seen. I think Atlanta should take that trade as well, I am just leery of Darko's supposed talent.
-
That could be an even trade, or a very lopsided one depending on that 1st round pick...
