I think thats kinda the point of the season. Vince is so obsessed with making the movie that he's going to go for broke on it and it alone. It's his and E's fall from grace while Drama and Turtle are rising up. Right now, I don't know if the writers should have Mediin be a bomb or box office success. It'd be a hell of a way to open next season though, with Vince/E finally missing on a gamble. About the episode... I'll just say what everyone else is. Drama's being so utterly defeated by the reviews, the funniest of which was the NY Post where they took away a star just for him being in it and then the payoff was great. Turtle hooking up with Lauren London was also pretty cool. That chick is hot and Rufus' reactions to Turtle gaming his daughter were classic. The early reports are that at the beginning of next season, Vince will be filming Medellin. Also, I'm expecting that the direction the writers will go will be positive only because with the exception of the first 4 eps, Vince and E have been on a fall and will need a bounce back. Chances are Medellin will be arc-d as a "Departed" film, which makes sense since Mark Wahlberg was involved with that.

I'm sure Larry Flynt had a nice little soiree in his honor tonight

Starcade owned as well as those early eps of Players, and Tina Wood who was on G4tv.com wasn't too bad looking. God do I ever miss TechTv though, CFH, Screensavers, Unscrewed.

The Walk of Fame is a sham for the most part in and of the fact that basically crappy people (read: Seacrest, Britney, etc) or their reps pay a fee to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce for a place, usually around the time something that needs promotion comes about.

Maybe it's just me but I find most employees at video game retailers to be a group of self-important, condesending little shits. On second thought, I've realized that it's only the guys working there and the women I've dealt with in making a video game purchase have been a delight. Case in point, a couple months ago when CC had a sale on activision games, I went to Best Buy (because I had a gift certificate and I got points and they price matched), since I for all intensive purposes haven't owned a console since the N64, my gaming knowledge had atrophied and for the most part was utterly clueless on what to buy. I was stuck between Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and Call of Duty 3, so I asked the girl (who was fairly attractive btw) which one she recomended and she gave me an honest answer as opposed to going into a Gamestop where I'd probably be given a look of disdain and traitorism by the kid behind the counter. Maybe game stores should be like lingerie shops and staffed by women.

Paris Hilton going to jail (for 3 days)
Darthtiki replied to Atticus Chaos's topic in Television & Film
However this is LA jail and she's a celeb, she'll be out in two weeks. -
Allegedly Hogan may be divorcing Linda. I was talking with one of the producers of VH1's Celebreality series of shows last night and picked up that gossip.

From Variety: I figured it would go 7 and done.

Batman Forever, next to the first and Begins is my favorite. Kilmer brought an almost suave and attractive yet moody quality to Bruce Wayne as opposed to the cerebral, cold potrayal by Keaton. Two-Face to me now is really undeveloped and honestly had they released the rough cut of the film with the escape from Arkham open, the surveying the damage and Bruce reconciling his identity scenes the film would have been that much better. The music both score and soundtrack were fantastic and I agree Nicole Kidman was all sorts of hot in this movie (especially being 13 when it was released). I still have my one sheet and Chase Meridian poster to this day. The Saint, This movie was great granted Kilmer went to do this instead of fulfilling his Bat-Contract which gave us that attrocity Batman and Robin (which Clooney worked but the script and production design were god awful). While it didn't see much love from most, it had a good story. Kilmer did well with the different accents and disguises and the soundtrack owned, I still give it a spin every now and then Lost in Space, sure it had Matt LeBlanc, but it wasn't a bad update with the exception of the metal buglike Dr. Smith. Also, it had Lacey Chabert who because this movie I developed a crush on (I was like 16 at the time) Grosse Pointe Blank, Cusack as a hitman with problems, cool 80's soundtrack, and Jeremy Motherfuckin' Piven, nuff said PCU, Piven is god the end Spiceworld, fuck the haters it was so bad it was good, plus I dug the Spice Girls Escape from LA, ok while most may think it was nowhere as good as New York, I thought it was good, had a great kind of almost Morricone score and a even better fuck you ending than NY Free Enterprise, Swingers for geeks, it's one of those you end up catching on during the afternoons on The Movie Channel and end up loving. The guy who plays the main character now is a reporter on one of the TV stations in my hometown. Go, another movie that didn't see the love but had a great story, cast (pre-mothership/2nd season Dawson's Katie Holmes, Timothy Olyphant, Taye Diggs, Breckin Meyer, Jay Mohr, Scott Wolf, William Finchter), and a great soundtrack Strange Days, a movie that kinda was swept under the rug but was really neat with a solid cast and soundtrack
