This was the first Finals I have not watched (save for the short times I was on the treadmill at the gym) since I started watching circa 1992-1993 and I do not regret my decision at all.

The 25-date tour will begin July 7 in Los Angeles; details have yet to be announced regarding distribution of tickets. The event, which will be headlined by Ozzy Osbourne, will be underwritten by a host of sponsorship deals. "For the last few years, ticket prices have steadily climbed as artists demand more and more money for summer tours," says tour creator Sharon Osbourne. "We certainly want everybody to make money; however, we also want the kids to be able to afford to come out and have an incredible experience. If we continued with the traditional touring festival model, we would have no choice but to raise ticket prices again this year." Ozzfest will visit such cities as San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Denver, Albuquerque, N.M., Phoenix, Dallas, San Antonio, Kansas City, Mo., St Louis, Chicago, Indianapolis, Columbus, Pittsburgh, Pa., New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Hartford, Conn., Charlotte, N.C., Atlanta, West Palm Beach, Fla., and Nashville. Besides Osbourne, the rest of the lineup is still coming together. The artist will be performing material intended for his first studio album since 2001, due later this year. So I finally "secured" lawns eats, but I cannot print them out due to not having any ink in my fucking printer. The site said that I would be e-mailed something so that I could print them out later, but I have received nothing.

I totally forgot that today was the "on-sale" date. I'm currently waiting at the site for tickets. EDIT: Fucking balls. I waited for over an hour and then during the time I went to take a shit, available tickets appeared and then were timed out (5 minutes) before I could acquire them.

I have told a few friends about this, and the ones that hang out with me regularly know, but a month ago today, I quit smoking cigarettes. I had smoked for over 4 years, beginning in late March of 2003. I wanted to wait a month before announcing this because I did not know if I'd be able to stick with it. Honestly, I still enjoyed them and never had a desire to quit, but one day I just decided I had had enough. I gave the half pack of Newports I had left to my friend Aaron and I haven't touched one since. The main reason I quit was for the sake of my workouts. I have put a ton of effort into gaining muscle in the past year plus, and I wanted to be able to push myself to the next level. Cigarettes worked against that. Also, I'm sure it will help my singing voice, and music is a major interest of mine. Most people who quit or attempt to claim that it is very difficult for them, but honestly, it has been fairly easy for me. I have not really had any physical cravings. I had mental cravings for a while, but those have passed. The only adverse effect I have experienced has been trouble sleeping (even more so than before) but it's a small price to pay. All I have to say is, thank God for caffeine. So that's it. I just wanted to make that announcement. If anyone else needs help quitting, feel free to contact me and I will help in any way that I can.
