MVP 06 NCAA Baseball is, shockingly enough, set to be released on the 18th of January. I had no idea it was coming out in a week. As someone who loved MVP 2005 and loathed MLB 2K5, I had high hopes for this game despite its lack of the MLB license. Now, however, I am a little worried. I got my February issue of EGM yesterday (#200) and they reviewed this game. While I'm too lazy to transcribe the reviews, the game was given scores of 5.5, 8.0, and 6.5 out of 10. The main problems cited are the new analog batting and fielding systems, wherein you throw the ball and swing the bat via the right analog stick. According to EGM, the concept is great (which I agree with) but the execution is less than satisfactory. Thankfully, we have the option to revert to the MVP 05 controls, but I just don't see how I could justify paying full price for this. It's been rumored to retail for $30, so if I can get it for $20, possibly via the Best Buy $10 off coupon, I may buy it. I'll be renting first, though.

But I rarely consume it anymore due to health reasons andthe fact that all low fat ranch dressings taste like ass. Same with delicious Caesar. Italian's good, though. Fuck raspberry walnut. Wow, no comments? I enjoyed the show top to bottom. It kicked off with a great bout and didn't really slow down. Fisher/Stevens was good. The finale of TUF was pretty good and it was nice to see Amir win. My favorite match of the night was Diego Sanchez killing that Luigi character in the 3rd round with a sick kneelift before earning the KO victory. Also, I didn't know Adderall was a banned substance until this show. I can see why, though. I lost 40 pounds onit in 3 months while trying to maintain weight. It'd be great for cutting.

Touche. The people who abuse coke are not idiots. My friends who did so were, with a couple exceptions, pretty smart folks. but it still is a very stupid decision in my opinion. I've seen what it does to people. I'd rank it right below meth as one of the worst destroyers of lives from what I've seen. I didn't ever use DXM much, but I must say that I think people who abuse alcohol aren't much better off than coke fiends. I've never heard stories about people stealing or sucking dick to get a fifth of Jack, but I'm sure it's been done. I was at the point a few years ago where I'd be highly irrational and unpleasant if I had to go one night without getting drunk. I know what that's like, and I wouldn't wish it upon anyone else. At least I don't verbally and physically abuse others like my dad does when he gets drunk. And on a hopefully lighter note, happy birthday, Frogg.

Oh, I have a very low tolerance for alcohol now. I used to be able to outdrink dudes who outweighed me by 100 pounds when I was a daily drunk at 125 pounds. Nowadays, though, I never drink more than twice a week. This year, twice a month has even been a rarity. EDIT: To clarify on the earlier post, I was never stupid enough to try coke myself. And the 2 times I took shrooms, in August 2002 and February 2003, were godly.

I've tried at least a half dozen brands on countless occasions over the years... It's just ineffective for me.

I'll say it anyway- it doesn't work. Not well. I've taken LOTS of that stuff- up to 15 at one time- and still been up for upwards of 16 hours later.

I don't know if you plan to use the drugs at the concert or afterwards, but definitely save the salvia for when you're not around thousands of people. As for the coke, don't throw away your money. Buy lots of weed rather than paying out the ass for crap that can kill you.

Is that some not so subtle way of saying I should kill myself? As if driving in California weren't a precarious proposition whilst one is sober and alert. I go at least 2 night a week without sleeping, and at least every 2 weeks I have 2 day periods of no sleep like this. I've dealt with insomnia for many years, at least since adolescence. Beer #3, I dedicate you to mellowblissful, who is unable to drink as often as he would like.

I've been up for 2 days straight, so I am drinking in order to get to sleep. Drinking at 7 A.M. while browsing TSM... sheesh. I dedicate these to Amnesia Glasscock, who at age 16 drinks as much as a 23 year old man, while I, conversely, drink as infrequently as a 16 year old. Also, to Bruiser Brody, 'cause he fuckin' rapes. I have 9 beers left over from my friend's birthday party on Saturday. Until that point, I hadn't had beer since March, but now I'm going for the full 9. Miller High Life, unfortunately. But hey, 'twas only 7 bucks for a 12 pack of bottles. Champagne of Beers? More like Champagne of Piss. It's like the Cook's champagne of beer.
