  1. PWInsider.com is reporting that WLKY in Louisville, Kentucky, recently ran a story about former WWE star Matt Morgan being arrested for impersonating a police officer.
  2. This didn't go into as much detail as I had hoped, but it's worth a read: http://www.newsobserver.com/105/story/389067.html Published: Jan 16, 2006 12:30 AM Modified: Jan 16, 2006 12:56 AM Flair on the Edge Matt Ehlers, Staff Writer He has been at it, he's still at it, and Ric Flair has no plans to stop wrestling anytime soon. Flair is the WWE Intercontinental Champion, and the proud grandpa is on the road about 200 nights a year. Recently he has been feuding with Edge, the WWE Champion. Last week during an episode of "WWE RAW," Flair helped break up what was promoted as a "live sex" celebration. The storyline called for Edge and female wrestler Lita to have sex in a bed set up inside the ring. But in time-honored wrestling tradition, Flair appeared from backstage and helped interrupt the proceedings. He has received a fair amount of attention outside the ring as well. Flair was charged in November in a road rage incident, after a motorist accused him of grabbing him by the neck and kicking the door of his car. Flair denies the charges. "I wouldn't in Charlotte, North Carolina -- or anywhere else -- grab anybody because I'm me. What am I going to gain by grabbing somebody?" he said, disappointed in the amount of media coverage the incident received. "It just tells me how big a star I am in Charlotte and how starved they are for excitement." Flair and "WWE RAW" will appear tonight in Raleigh for a show that will be broadcast live on USA Network. He spoke from his car in Charlotte, where he lives. Q - What's up with you and Edge? A - I don't have much to tell you. He beat my brains out two days in a row. [Laughs.] I don't have much to say. I haven't been able to establish much offense in our two encounters so I'm kind of under the weather right now. He hit me with a chair Monday night. Q - This was a big night, last Monday, with the "live sex." Tell me about that. That seems to be taking it to the next level. A - It's hard to say what "taking it to the next level" is likely to be today. I watch very little television, but whatever I seem to watch, with the exception of "SportsCenter," everything is going to the next level. And I think at the WWE, the people who put together our program are probably just a little more clever than anybody else. We don't cover any more territory or go any further than anybody else. I just think the stuff we do is just a little catchier. Q - Did you ever think that at 56 you'd still be wrestling? A - I didn't until last year. Q - What happened? A - For a while I didn't have it. Well, I did, but I didn't. I mean, I liked what I was doing, but I wasn't on the edge like I used to be. No pun intended -- you have to be on the edge to want to be good at this. It's a hard, physical business. It's very mentally demanding. I kind of, in the last 10 years, got so wrapped up in the growth and development of my two youngest kids, that not only did I get lost in the storylines of WCW, I just kind of gave up on it. I didn't think there was anything left for me to do or accomplish. It's just been in the last four years with these guys that I've really gotten myself back in the groove. And clearly, it's taken two years to get back in the groove. Now I feel like I'm -- well, I've always felt like I was 25 years old -- that's one of my problems. I feel great. I'm really enjoying it and I think I've got a lot left in me, which I wouldn't have told you a year ago. ... I'm in a very good place in my life right now. Q - You're going through a divorce. A - I was going to say, except financially. Q - Does your impending divorce have anything to do with you still working? A - No. As a matter of fact, my impending divorce is making me better at what I do. I have someone now who encourages me and motivates me. It's hard to explain. I have different support systems in place than I have had in the past. Do I have to work for money? Yes. I mean, I don't have to work if I want to live like a guy who's done half of what I've done. But if I want to enjoy the life that I have led, I need to work because I'm giving half of what I have to my ex-wife. Which is fine. She's entitled to it and I have no problem with it. Q - Are you still interested in running for governor? A - Yeah, I'm very interested in it now. ... Not lieutenant governor. But governor.
  3. That was funny. Why? I don't even know.
  4. I want to see D'Lo Brown vs. RVD. Battle of the frog splashes!
  5. Sandwich consisting of 2 eggs, cheese, pickles, onions, hot sauce, and ranch dressing.
  6. Wait... You're linking to seevral different sites, so I'm guessing you're selling these directly. If so, do you only have one of each, or multiples? I'd be interested in the Evolution and Storm ones. The one I'd want most is Slap Nuts... I have one that I got at the Thunder taping where Buff Bagwell was arrested, but they only had 2XL (I wore L or XL then) and that would look ridiculous on me now that I wear a small to medium. A large could look decent after shrinkage. One final note- Amy, I sent the SASE for the autographs a while back, and it got returned to me due to the address being incorrect. I didn't have any envelopes at home, so I had my mom send it from work and I read the address to her over the phone, which I guess she misheard. I didn't get it returned til a few days after new year's, and I've been meaning to re-send but keep forgetting. I'll hopefully be able to do that tomorrow.
  7. NOOOOOOOOOOO don't split up fake LOD!
  8. New Kids on the Block had a bunch of hits, Chinese food makes me sick, but I think it's fly when girls stop by for the summer... for the summer. I like girls that wear Abercrombie and Fitch, blah blah choke that bitch.... blah blah... As for Green Day, I love American Idiot, but I don't see why they've released so many singles. Why would anyone who enjoys the album but doesn't own it yet want to buy it when they can hear half of it for free? They've released the following so far: 1. American Idiot 2. Boulevard of Broken Dreams 3. Holiday 4. Wake Me Up When September Ends 5. St. Jimmy (live performance from Bullet in a Bible) 6. Jesus of Suburbia
  9. Does anyone still have their pogs? Somewhere, I believe I still have my pogs and slammers, stored in those little cylindrical containers. I actually have a pogs book in one of my plastic totes that house my massive book and magazine collections. My mom actually has a pog on her bedroom mirror. It features a picture of me from 7th grade (1996-97) and I made it using the pog maker machine which I won in a silent auction at my Christian school.
  10. I don't post under any gimmick accounts, but I'll admit to creating 2 which I was, for some strange reason, never able to use. he first had a thread created by someone referring to it as "TSM reaching its peak". 1. Incandenza's stool sample, NIGGA 2. Flipper's Dick

If I had a lot more disposable income, I'd do that and exchange whichever games I didn't want, but I couldn't bear to part with nearly $1,000 when I know I'll be able to get a system in a month and a half at the latest. I felt guilty even paying $80 for Guitar Hero, great as it is. I hope you guys enjoy your systems, though. There are some really enjoyable games out there.
  12. I actually think it looks cool... It's just not Spider-Man.
  13. I quickly went through the basic tutorial before jumping into Easy mode, but I didn't know about hammer-ons and pull-offs. That's cool that they're included. As a guitarist, I appreciate this game's little nuances... but my favorite has nothing to do with me being a musician. Did anyone notice that, in a lovely nod to Spinal Tap, the numbers on the amps shown go to 11? Fucking awesome.
  14. Thanks... I just read those at another forum, but I appreciate the response. That forum said that London/Spanky vs. Gymini was taped as well. Any truth to that?
  15. Pretty self explanatory, as usual. I thank you in advance.
  16. I used to not care much for the guy (then again, I liked many posters less) but as I mentioned to either Czech or Special K recently, he seems to be a decent dude, and he's a good contributor to the WWE folder as well.
  17. I got a MySpace message from him requesting the same thing. Unless his "meltdown" was something extremely severe (I didn't see it) I have nothing bad to say about the guy. Sure, he has his issues, and his OU rants can be annoying, but there are plenty of people here who are far worse than him. He's a decent guy in my book... not that anyone cares.
  18. It's not even on Target's website, nor did my Target even carry the game, period, so it appears to be a very "YMMV" (your mileage may vary) deal. I have only played 4 songs so far since my fiancee has been here since early afternoon, but I seriously love this game more than I ever thought possible. Oh, and thanks to you DH, but yes, my box was full. I wouldn't have been able to get it at my Target anyway, as I said.
  19. Every place but Best Buy sells this for $79.99. It's been sold out everywhere for a long while, though, so I am biting the bullet and am about to head to Gamestop after the football game (they actually have it) and pay $85 or so for a copy.
  20. When's she going to wrestle again anyway? It's been a year, and they need competitors in the women's division. Do not EVER encourage or hope for Lita to start wrestling again. Even if I have to endure Ashley "chain wrestling" with her shitty hammerlocks or Torrie Wilson "wrestling", it's still better than Lita, who is suppose to be fully trained, wrestling. Look... Lita may not be incredibly good, but Ashley couldn't even be carried by Trish to a mediocre match. That Raw title match bordered on Jackie Gayda-like levels of suckage.
  21. They didn't even have Benoit, Orton, or Undertaker in the battle royal. I realize the firsttwo worked earlier in the evening, and Taker is part time, but that would have made it less obvious who would win to those who didn't know the result. I figure they're just going to send Angle and Daivari over to SD permanently, per Vince McMahon's orders. There's no Raw GM to complain, so Vince could say he's doing what's best for the company. Also, Daivari would fit in with the cruiser division well. I'd actually prefer HBK on Smackdown as champ, but if they were going to do that, they could have just sent him in Kurt's place. Doing another title change on Raw would severely devalue the belt.
  22. It was the Toys R Us annual buy 2 get 1 sale in 2004. I was just about to get an Xbox, so I stocked up on games. However, I did not go til the last day of the sale, and many of the games I wanted were gone. SVC Chaos was playable in the store, so I tried it. It was really fun, and I thought the personalized dialogue for each matchup was cool, so I bought it. I soon regretted that decision, as I mentioned above.
  23. I don't know; it just sounds white to me. I didn't mean it as an insult. Then again, my stepbrother's name is Daniel, and he's Mexican, so yeah. It's not nearly as white sounding as Ethan. And I'm surprised Carnival did not know your real name. All it took was a quick glance at your Yahoo profile.
  24. Thus adding to his stereotypical whiteness.
  25. I went to order this at Tower Records' site with my gift card, and got this message: You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase video games rated Mature, Adult, Not Rated or have Rating Pending. To continue to purchase these items, please confirm that you are 18 years or older. If you are under 18 years of age, these items will be removed from your order. The following item contains mature content and can only be purchased by someone 18+ years of age: Mega Man X Collection ----------------------------- Now obviously, I am over 18, but since when are MM games rated M?
