I like the 'Murder Mystery' though, I don't get the point. Written by Lou as well.
-
Pardon my ignorance... I'll edit this post: Nice but it doesn't mean a thing as Lou later said.

I listened to GG Allin today and thoroughly enjoyed it.

The first Zappa album I bought was Just Another Band From LA. I can see the funny side now.

Well, ok, Tucker and Cale aren't on the record but should that be a problem? In the end, most of the songs are still pretty good if not great. There is still a unique quality to the album despite the polished finish (nobody sang like Lou or wrote lyrics like him either). I don't know if you are suggesting session players played on the record but I can be pretty sure that the lead guitar work is mostly handled by Morrison. Loaded is a progression and essentially a band can only only 'experiment' for so long before things become contrived. The earlier albums were the groundbreaking ones, the final one being the send-off. And finally, the Velvet Underground was Lou Reed. The others added a certain something to the first record* but after that, it was all Lou. * White Light/White Heat was a put-on.

Videos are better.

Right, ok. I just don't have as much fun with it as I do with Freak Out. I've listened to it more than few times now and I've given up.
-
I just don't think it's as good possibly. Although thanks for the pretentious assessment.

Why do I like Freak Out but not We're Only In It For The Money ?

Favourite track: 'Dog Shit'

To me, partying hard would be staying out for ages, meeting up with friends, maybe see some new people, drinking a lot (maybe not), doing things I wouldn't normally do (within reason!) and generally having a laugh. Not remembering what happenened is no fun and renders the night useless. It might be funny to say to 'I can't remember that' on a couple of occasions but after that it just becomes pathetic. I'm sure I still have a few embarrassing and shameful nights in me yet but I'd like to think I don't go out with the intention of having them. Besides who the hell can afford to party for three weeks running? I sure as hell can't.

£2million for an 18 year old! I feel old, god.

It has been a good month for us. Played 8 Won 5 Drawn 1 Lost 2 Scored 11 Conceded 9, including cup ties. I said, half-drunk, before the Aberdeen game, that this could be our season and that we could maybe win the league. Getting to the play-offs would be nice but ultimately second or even fourth (!) best. I want the league badly and the players do too. I've never been so confident that we have it in us.

I saw the Stones on Friday as I somehow managed to get a free ticket. It was hilarious but they were pretty good.

What does this involve.

Do you prefer Tatoo You to Let It Bleed Inc. For the record, Let It Be I don't like. God knows what Lennon was playing at.
