For someone who doesn't own it, too many times.

For me it was totally rubbish, although I know a lot of people probably thought that it was the best year ever. I found it very depressing. Because of timetable clashes, I spent a lot of time on my own, mostly in the library. I was already in University, so I didn't need to bother with any school work. When I did meet up with my friends, I looked around and realised that we were in the smallest group (4 or 5 of us) within the whole year, which upset me at the time. Plus I developed a crush on this girl in my English class, which didn't go away until the summer (I saw her again afterwards and she had crap hair, so I was happy). I didn't go to my end of year dance because of her, but all I missed were bad jokes and teachers making fools of themselves. The only high-point of the whole year was more or less writing the yearbook, which makes me proud, although I've never read it since it was released. In a word: CRAP!

The last time I used my mobile was on Friday night, when I had to because some guy needed to know where I was to meet up with him. Other than that, I'm amazed people bother phoning me. I'm on msn almost always and I'll check my email so I'd rather do that, than have to dial three hundred numbers to either hear background noise followed by awkward laughter, a token line and 'call me back', etc. I used it when I was going out with a girl, but generally that was text message stuff. Plus I work on telephones, so I'm more of a face-to-face man now than ever before.

I'm a bit like your friends. I rarely have my mobile phone on, nevermind with me, and as for checking voicemail *stiffles laughter*, once in a lifetime wouldn't do it justice. I hate mobile phones.

I've contacted the appropriate bodies within TSM and it's been given the go-ahead. So if you post in this thread, you will banned.
