Last night when I saw this, I thought this was a thread on alcohol.

I know my way around a piano quite well and reached an decent standard. I can play rudimentary drums and rhythm guitar. I'd like to be able to play some more instruments, perhaps banjo or mandolin, and definetely bass guitar at some point in the future.

Basically, the music media are scared to death of missing the joke or that this guy might be a lyrical genius, so they give the album 5-stars just to be sure. If one magazine slates it whilst the others back it, it'll look really bad on their part, so everyone chickens out and calls it the album of the year. Not that it's any good or anything. It's just that no-one has the balls to say what they want about music for fear of looking unhip.

The Buggles should win it. The rest is shit.
