Oh yea, The Police...are they the ones better than The Doors?
-
League of Gentlemen, yea. Brutally dark, but very funny. Steer clear of Little Britain.

I'm not sure how I overlooked Father Ted.
-
I second Two Ronnies and Only Fools and Horses. Forget about it being old, humour like that is timeless.

The Office Extras Anything with 'Alan Partridge' - Steve Coogan Brass Eye - satire stuff (not BBC) - unsure of availability, check youtube Phoenix Nights (not BBC) Peep Show (not BBC) Can't beat classic Mr Bean, although pretty much unavailable (on youtube though) Coupling is pretty average so you'll probably like Peep Show which is the same in terms of character casting but a lot better and more original. Phoenix Nights has a lot of references that you might not get.

God bless our scottish armchair army. Loyalty that borders on the obsessive. Undeniably an accurate perception, however.

God, England are terrible. Queen's Park are doing ...ok. I still don't think we'll manage the play-offs though, somehow. Oh, and I'm quoted in this Times article on our online TV channel here. I'm the commentator, lolz...

What is your opinion of Mole as an administrator?

Funniest thread in months.

I froce when I read that.

Fratellis are shit.

'Good Night' is brilliant - the others were too bastardy to sing it, so Ringo was the perfect choice.
-
I hate them greatly but as a friend is a big fan (majorly obsessive), I silence myself.

I've been listening to The Byrds a lot lately, but I'm not sure whether that's seasonal.

Stop, start, stop, start. Some great nights, some bad nights - terrifying alcohol consumption. I swear it off but I'm back on it. Went back to University, developed laziness, had a fortnight long relationship, finally discovering sexuality(?)...

Eerily, we are more or less in exactly the same position as we were last year in terms of points. So another season of underachievement beckons.

The worst song by a 'proper' band: 'Monster' by the Automatic. Absolutely terrible. And the follow up song is exactly the same. Stupid faux-American accents and aren't they from Wales? Hideous. Not that I'm anti-Welsh! I just love Aled Jones!!!!!!!!!

For the record Czech, I'm not a big fan of Coney Island either and The Blue Mask is better but a bit flat. He has done better personal albums.
-
I double posted, so I'll say that New Sensations and Mistrial are great albums. No underlying tension or issues within though, so Czech won't like them.
-
I fail to see how Loaded and Transformer are steps down. Both albums are better than Berlin and I never got much out of White Light/White Heat. Oh yes, groundbreaking - but not entertaining beyond a few listens (aforementioned 'Street Hassle' is the most interesting long piece he ever did).
-
I have no recollection of this. EDIT. -=Mike

Every song was shite this year. I spent the last 12 months listening to 'Rough Boys' by Pete Townshend.
