When I said ever, I meant ever in the WWF. I should have made that clear. Therefore some of the chaps on your list wouldn't make it. And overall, I think Kane is fantastic. He's worthy of being on the list.
-
Can I not get something for that ? Nah, you don't even suck in the original sense.
-
You suck though.
-
Kane is one of the best big men ever? Has your only exposure to pro wrestling been through WWF/E from 1997 on? - Stan Hansen - Vader - Andre the Giant - Gary Albright - Steve Williams - Shinya Hashimoto - Yokozuna - Bruiser Brody - Brock Lesnar All miles better then fuckin Kane. Many on your list don't fall into the near 7 foot category. And I've already mentioned Andre and Yokozuna as being worthy of being on the list. So in other words, What's your point, caller?
-
Come to Beasty for a big kiss.
-
Andre the Giant - Massive draw wherever he went. A good wrestler too in the early days. MADE Hogan after Mania 3 Gorilla Monsoon - Possibly wrestled more matches than anyone in WWF history. A good announcer, but a much loved wrestler. Shawn Michaels - One of the best entertainers of the last decade and influenced so many. Undertaker - An absoulte cornerstone of the WWF and was the only reason to watch at some periods in the 90s. Has wrestled everyone on the roster and is actually underrated. Iron Sheik - Put over Hogan in 84 and was a legitimate wrestlers and tough guy. George "The Animal" Steele - Nah Haystacks Calhoun - Big name in Britain Ric Flair - A legend, but didn't do enough in the WWF to justify a place. Jesse Ventura - An announcer, yes, but no great shakes as a wrestler. Junkyard Dog - Massively over, but not much use. Roddy Piper - Amazing character and a great understanding of physchology. Kane - One of the best big men ever. Agile, over and mysterious. He should be on the list. King Kong Bundy - Nah. Relatively short wrestling career, which didn't last long in the WWF. Buddy Rogers - A big part of the beginnings of the WWF. Ultimate Warrior - One of the most popular wrestlers ever. Terrible in the ring, but much loved. Magnificent Muraco - Yes Honky Tonk Man - Honky Tonk Man is underrated even though he wasn't much of a wrestler. He was HATED during the year+ long Intercontinental title run. Hulk Hogan - Nuff sed. Killer Kowalski - Yes Pat Patterson - Ruined his great career somewhat with his farcial recent matches, but a terrific wrestler early on and was an influentuial figure because of his background. A great booker too. Chris Jericho - Excellent all-rounder. Chief Jay Strongbow - Excellent run as tag-champion in 60s and 70s. Stone Cold Steve Austin - Was the attitude era. Ted Dibiase - A great mind for the business and a good wrestler Bret Hart - Excellent wrestler Bob Backlund - An underrated wrestler who was immensely popular because of his goofy image and naive approach. Bobo Brazil - Influential. Ivan Putski - hmmm Razor Ramon - A good wrestler whose career was wasted with drugs and alcohol Wendi Richter - As popular as female wrestler as there's ever been. The Rock - Simply superb. One of the best-rounded wrestlers ever. Randy Savage - Great character and a great wrestler. Jake "the Snake" Roberts - A terrific mind for the business. His problems held him back. Ricky Steamboat - Great wrestler, but not important to the WWF. Mick Foley - An enduring figure and a well known face for the WWF. Triple H - His 2000 run is enough, in my view. Jimmy Snuka - Crazy over and was crazy too, apparently. Bruno Sammartino - The first and one of the best. Fabulous Moolah - Has wrestled longer than anyone. Brock Lesnar - Too early for him to be judged. It looks good, however. Yokozuna - Was loathed; an excellent heel. Billy Graham - Drugs spoiled a career which was promising but loved and hated in good ways. Antonio Rocca - Can't comment Pedro Morales - Influential Sgt. Slaughter - Didn't do enough for the WWF. Deserves credit, though, for going along with the Iraq storyline Ernie Ladd - Can't comment Kurt Angle - One of the greatest wrestlers ever. Seamless transition into pro-wrestling. Ric Rude - Yes Ken Patera - Can't comment Paul Orndorff - A great heel in the 80s and was a genuine threat to Hogan's title.
-
Oh, some of you guys should grow up. 1. Benoit/Eddy will never happen at Mania 2. Benoit/Angle won't happen at Mania 3. Benoit won't win the title at Mania 4. Eddy won't win the title at Mania Get over it.

You make good points Jobber and I respect you for them but at the end of the day, if the public could be trusted would they have voted him in in the first place? The general public remember key inicidents. Whether Iraq is rebuilt will be largely put to the side. Saddam has been captured and that's what people will sight as their main reason for re-electing Bush.
-
Today is really far away from next November, really. Yea but rest assured the propaganda will be running wild when it does come around.
-
Bush is almost certainly back in for another term on this day alone. I'm not too sure about Tony Blair. Here in Britain, people obviously think that Hussein's an erse but most were fairly indifferent to the invasion. As for punishment, Saddam should be publicly executed and it should be shown live on Iraqi television. No one else needs to see it, apart from them.

Actually, Triple H was good back then so I thoroughly enjoyed it. -

No, HHH won the title in January. Big Show beat HHH the week before in December. Big Show was able to lead the WWF into the new year before lost it back to HHH. This is true. I remember the New Years celebration party. -

If I remember correctly, the McMahon-Helmsley era set up a Big Show-Triple H match in early January, which Big Show won. The next week Triple H beat Show on RAW in another title match to win the belt. -
An awesome picture, purely for contrast reasons, of course.
-
Taker will retire at Mania, so he'll put over Kane. Expect a nothing match, with thousands of restholds and both guys kicking out of each others' finishers countless times to pop the ground.
-
You're a shite actor.
-
Haven't had my hair cut since August ... it's mega bushy. I'm leaving it till next December as a sort of self-bet. No one thinks I'll last that long. If it goes well up until that point I might not have it cut until I graduate ... if I graduate, which would be in 3 to 4 years time. This is the longest it's ever been and even though it's real I have cool length at the back. When I can grow proper facial hair (damn skin) I'll grow a beard too. I don't care if it impresses anyone. If the ladies don't like me for who I am, screw them.
-
^^^ you should.

I'm 6 foot and 140-145, which is down to my rapid metabolism. I've always been just as skinny and my weight increase as of late is directly in proportion with my height. As I'm in Uni now, I expect my diet to change dramatically even though I'm still living at home, so I'll probably have gained 15 pounds or maybe more by the time I leave. Then, I can maybe think about working out. There's no use though, when you've got nothing to work with. I'm fairly fit and have a decent turn of pace if I need it, but my diet at the moment is shite so I expect that to change.

Another potential journalist here. In my first year of my degree.
