Can ANYONE have a differing viewpoint without getting jumped on?

Well, you can't say Layfield hasn't done what he was supposed to as far as people hating him goes. Even before this he was a very over heel, but that didn't translate into buyrates. Of course, alot of the blame can also be put on the shoulders of the Smackdown's inferior brand. I wonder if when the world has forgotten about this, shall the debate rage on here?

Then why do you care about how they choose to draw heat? Seeing as how Bradshaw is not a Nazi, that stupid salute will be a one time thing, it shall have no effect on his performance or anything else for that matter. The issues was just pushed because a few people got their feelings hurt in an OPINION column, one that they despise but choose to post on the forum or read every time it is written. And looking at house show reports and SD! Tapings, it seems to be working very nicely for Layfield. Any proof of this besides hearsay? If no one gave a damn what a wrestler thought, he would not have been fired from CNBC, hell he would never have been hired in the first place. Seems you just made a contradiction there. So wait, you mean to tell me that Bradshaw just suddnely burst into McMahon's office and said, "Hey, I'm sick of being a midcard face with a 45 year old negro (gotta remember he's a bigot)! Everyone just assumed it was Bradshaw because a cowboy hat was mentioned. With evidence like that, who needs rational arguments and logic, and PROOF?! Oh well, looks like Grutman's brilliant prediction of Bradshaw being totally unemployed within the next two months is now null and void. Oh well, just another case of an internet writer talking out of his asshole and trying to drum up popularity for himself. Also, as ignorant a move as this was on Bradshaws part, I certainly do believe that if this had been a more favored wrestler, instead of this being such a classless move, it would have just been a misguided attempt at heel heat. Wait, there's no need to think it, look no further than good 'ol Josh's report! Meanwhile, we could have kept this quiet. Had you been nice to us, we would not have told CNBC. Had you not called us faggots, had you not called us nerds, all we would be saying right now is, “Look. It’s professional wrestling. Eddie's drinking, steroid use, breaking character, and drug problems. Wow, a laundry list right there. And what's Layfield guilty of? One stupid gesture and being an average wrestler with a distaste for nerdy internet fans. I mean, reading an article like Grutmans, it's really hard NOT to ridicule this whole community.

I think you answered your own question. Eddy being more over than HHH would weaken his pull to get the belt back. Um, he'd have to be more over than HHH for your theory to be accurate. John Cena is more over than Eddie Guerrero, and that's a much more accurate opinion, seeing as how they are both faces.

If you're going to try and be the wavering voice of reason on a messageboard you obviously need to get laid or start a stamp collection. If you're going to be mean intentionally to try and "get over," at least do it right. It's so easy anyway. It's the messageboard equivalent of a heel wrestler saying, "Hey, your town sucks!" Oh that Kane, always getting that heel heat, oh wait, those are cheers. I mean really, I've never seen a supposed "heel" get cheered so much. That Eugene segment was the first time Kane was booed in months. Judging by the house show reports, they are going to have a hard time keeping Kane a heel in the title match.
