Anglesault will never be banned. It just won't happen. There's always discussion and yammering on from various board leaders on how they are making this board better, more enjoyable, yada yada yada, but when the time comes to take action, they do nothing. Or, if they do, the mass population of whiny children around here throw a temper tantrum about it (see the nikjohns situation). Back when there was a moderately vocal opposition to Marney's rampant flaming in the CE folder, nothing was done about it. Wait wait wait, there WAS something done about it, the rules were changed. All of a sudden, flaming, which was such a oooooooh DEADLY offense before, was suddenly just something "thin skinned babies" complained about. Once the walls came down in CE, flaming was basically allowed everywhere, unofficially of course. Now, we have Anglesault, someone who's banning is loooooooong overdue. Will he ever be banned? No. Because the mods, like Canadian Chick, (why the hell is she a mod anyway, because she's a girl?) are too scared of the backlash. Look at the poll results. People want Anglesault gone. Other posters have been tossed out on their ears for less, but AS just get a slap on the wrist and the mods go, "Oh, that's just our AS." People always bemoan the state of this forum, yet, no one is willing to take the necessary steps to improve anything. A few baby steps will be taken, then everyone sits on their asses again. When someone does do something, they are bludgeoned to death by other posters. I mean good grief. We have numerous problem posters on this board, but because they are so called "witty, " or make a good point every now and then, they somehow contrbute to the betterment of the board. I suppose. Ban Anglesault if you board leaders are serious about change.

I think Nik is doing a better job than the other mods promoted to babysit the WWE folder. He, you know, acts like a mod and does his job visibly. Sometimes it's good to be a behind the scenes mod, but not in this case. The WWE folder is like a big shitty baby that needs to be cleaned and monitored at all times. It needs a heavy handed moderator, and of course, that's going to ruffle a few feathers because the patrons of the WWE folder are used to doing whatever the hell they want without any moderation interference, or the mods taking part in it themselves.

Because I sure don't hear too much about it on this forum. If anything, it seems to have sparked more interest in EWR 4.0. What's up with this game? Did anyone get the full version? Also, while I'm here, does anyone have a link to the old Extreme Warfare Message Boards?

I also remember hearing back in the day that there were going to be animations within TEW, which I thought was the reason for the $35 price tag.

I liked how Batista flipped off Edge when he had Benoit in the half boston crab. I like it when wrestlers aad little things like that to their matches to get the crowd riled up. The only wrestlers I see really playing to the crowd are Batista, Flair, Orton sometimes, Cristian, and HHH. Wrestlers would draw more heat if they acknowledged the crowd.

Wow, crowd boos and then dies for the Benoit sharpshooter on HBK. They aren't booking it right. HBK should have calmed Edge down, then superkicked him, then hit the SCM on Benoit once he got up. Oh well. EDIT: NY Untouchable beat me to it.

Yes, just like an older episode of the "new" Simpsons where Gary Coleman was the guest star. The episode started when Springfield was in the middle of a heat wave and it was too hot for Bart and Milhouse to go outside. So, they dressed up as girls and Homer caught them and somehow Bart got injured. Then, the episode shifted to Bart lobbying the school for a wheelchair ramp so he could get inside the school. The Mafia constructed the ramp, but charged the school 200K leaving the school bankrupt and closing it. THEN, a private company takes over the school and has the children help them create a toy, one which destroys other toys. Somehow Bart and Homer steal all the "Funzos" and burn them and they eat dinner with Gary Coleman and it's Christmas time. This was one of the most UNFUNNY, inane stories I've ever seen. What was the episode about? Please tell me. It's like the writers have a bad case of ADD now.

I think it's time to turn off the old wrestling programs when you refer to posters on a message board as heels and faces. I mean, really. It's like the posters who say they "cut promos" on various people in the real world.

Satellite is good, yet it sucks. Example; I turn on the TV to watch Sunday Night Heat, Spike TV is missing. Looks like a repeat of Friday where a number, well, 90% of the channels were missing. Dish Network never offers an explanation for this, the channels just dissapear, and then reappear without much fanfare. Sad, truly sad. I live in Houston by the way.

Okay, it's been rumored for weeks that Big Show would FINALLY be taking time off to heal after carrying the load as seemingly the only credible upper midcard heel on SD!, a well deserved break IMO. The angle was set up perfectly in the beginning of the show, lose and leave. However, now they have set up an angle where Show becomes a monster heel, ala Kane last year, surpassing even JBL and Booker (two heels who have been built up fo the past few weeks) and seemingly kills off another heel in Kurt Angle. Okay, so after all of this, he is going to leave? What I think is happening is that Big Show is being set up for the Undertaker. Show will be a huge heel for Taker to vanquish to give him some much needed momentum. I guess THEN Show will finally be allowed to heal up and take some time off.

Stop trolling. That's all you've been doing in these box office reports with your stupid comments. "Jesus" came back from number 6 to number 1 and here you are trolling again. No one beat Jesus this weekend, Easter weekend. And none of these movies will make as much money.

If the NWO was used CORRECTLY, they could have been huge. They are NOT going to get over when you have three guys that took a whole company hostage, now getting beaten up a past his prime redneck. When they came in, they still had NWO aura, by the end of WM, it was over. Vince and Austin killed it. The NWO should have been handing out beatings left and right. Look at how vicious the attack on Rock was. That one attack set the precedant right there. One they were never allowed to acheive again. Every face in the company should have been a target. Heels like Jericho (at the time) should have been sucking up to them to avoid the beating and spraypaint. One attack on the Rock (which seemingly every incoming heel attacked to draw heat) was not going to do it. Austin, Taker, and HHH should have all been laid out at the feet of the NWO. The program had at least a year long shelf life. Instead, it was ruined within months.

Actually, the best incarnation of Val Venis was when he was still a porn star, but he turned heel when he gave Mankind the "Testicular Claw" after a faux apology. He then went on to have matches with Mankind, Rock, and Austin, before they suddenly dropped the angle. He was finally getting over with his heel act too. Then, he came back in a four way match for the IC Title against X-Pac, Hardcore Holly, and Benoit on an episode of Smackdown. He cut a semi shoot promo before the match and he was pretty damn over. Then, he dissapeared again. Then, he came back as a heel and had that feud with Rikishi, and with each passing week his heat decreased more and more. Trish was added to stop this but it just worsened. He cut his hair and came out in generic white. He was essentially the most generic heel ever. He had no motivations, he was just a "bad guy." He was getting negative heat by this time. They changed his music to this techno shit and it was over. Once on SD! he came out to ZERO reaction, then all of a sudden, they added some canned heat. It was pathetic, and he was with Trish at that and had the IC Title. Eventually he lost it to Chyna I believe. Sometime after this he went BACK to the porn gimmick for the first time since the heel turn of '99. This is when the RTC first came on the scene. After a brief feud (I think) Val came aboard as the RTC's premier wrestler. The RTC drew HUGE HEAT, despite no one here seeming to like them. After the RTC dissolved, Val went right back to a watered down version of the porn gimmick. He was called the Big Valbowski and was mostly used as a jobber. After a few months he dissapeared again and came back as Chief Morely. It was a nice and effective heel character but alas, just as he was getting over, WWE pulled the plug and now Val is back to being Val. Who knows what the WWE will cook up for him next, if anything.

Well, I just came up with a nearly year long storyline out of this.... On the next Smackdown, Angle introduces Long as the new Chief of Staff, kind of like Morely was to Bischoff. Booker immediately siezes the oppurtunity and asks for the administrations support in going after Guerrero. Angle, who hates Guerrero agrees, and Long agrees based on the fact that Booker is black. Have Guerrero and Booker go at it until SS (you can throw Bradshaw in there every now and then)with Guerrero winning the blow off match and then have Show come back from surgery and spark up a program with Guerrero with Guerrero retaining at SurSer. From there, hopefully they would have built up Dupree with him going over at No Way Out after a year long Eddie reign.

Okay, HHH is a moron, but yet he has seemingly manipulated the entire roster and the administration and made the WWE his personal playground? Well, that says more about the so called "victims" of HHH and less about HHH himself.

The entire roster was standing there until Austin gave them death stares. Except Show. Looks like Show and Angle will take over as top heels now. Thanl God they have built up Show well over this past year and a half, it will finally come in handy.

Show weighs a good 440 or above. I don't remember him ever dropping below 420. A punch from a guy of average stature and build can kill a man if connected right, imagine what Show could do.

I just found it odd that he thanked Big Show? I guess he was some sort of mentor to Lesnar, probably explaining their year long pairing and off and on feuds.
