Once again, I do not agree. But, at the same time, the Hardy Boyz weren't BAD wrestlers. Jeff was above average and Matt is pretty good. People sing Benoit's praises as if he's carrying Nah like slugs to ***** matches nightly. And the Benoit matches that have gotten the most praise have consisted of Austin, HHH, Jericho, Angle, and Eddie; all people at one time or another that were considered great wrestlers.

Everytime Rock and Benoit faced off- a good match resulted. 2.14.00 5.22.00 8.7.00 9.25.00 Those are all good Benoit v. Rock matches And Fully Loaded 2000. Okay, but I beg to differ. They were just your average face Rock vs. Heel of the Month matches with the Rock bumping all over the place trying to put some heat on the guy. Nothing special at all.

Not exactly slugs by any means there. Benoit has good matches with Albert and Rikishi. They aren't exactly workrate gods. Fact is Benoit is as good as everyone says he is. No matter how much people whine and cry "Everyone likes Benoit! WAAH! I'll hate him because everyone likes him! WAAH!" Bitch and moan all you want but Benoit IS THAT GOOD. If you've EVER watched him in ECW, WCW, Japan, and Mexico you know this. Hell if you paid attention while watching him on WWE TV you'd know this. Frankly people need to get over there insecurities about liking a wreslter that everyone else does. HHH had a better match with Rikishi than any Benoit match with Albert or Rikishi. Of course, this is conveniently forgotten amidst the Benoit blowjobs. And I don't care how good Benoit was five or ten years ago. Today he's an overrated hack living off of his legacy thanks to a bunch of delusional fanboys unwilling to let go.

Oh yes, how could I forget Eddie. The matches with Rock were just there. If it wasn't for Rock's charisma they would have been just average affairs.

Last I checked, the WWE champions since early 2001 weren't drawing anything except flies. Bringing up face HHH against Goldberg proves nothing really because no one was drawing in that environment. A 2000 face HHH might have been a totally different story.

Well, I got my computer back up and since I lost everything, I have to start from scratch rebuilding my music collection. In the week, I had lost net, i.e. Kazaa, access, things had changed for the worst. The first few sonds I DL'ed to get me going were okay. Though, I noticed they always skipped alot, but nothing major. If I wasn't surfing from page to page, things were pretty stable. However, when I tried to DL the song "So Gone" by Monica, something was seriously wrong. The first few seconds of each file I tried to DL was fine, but after it, the song length increased and high pitched buzzing sounds and other crap were heard. I thought it was just one bad file. But the shit kept happening with each new file. Looks like the RIAA is flooding the network with bad files. I've noticed that files with a bandwitdth of 3906 and hundreds of users is ALWAYS corrupt. Today, I made another discovery. I was listening to "Shake Ya Tailfeather," I'd never listend to it all the way, well, I found out the last 40 seconds of the song has the noises tacked on. I had attempted to DL the song from people without a bandwidth of 3906, but I had left my search more feature on and eventually the number of sources ballooned from 8 to over 100. I thought since I had begun downloading before these sources popped up, I wouldn't need to cancel the DL. Well, it turns out Kazaa downloaded the rest of the song from a corrupt source. In conclusion, there are THOUSANDS of bad songs out there. Turn off auto search because if you don't and you keep searching for more sources as you DL, Kazaa will begin to DL from an RIAA source and your song may be messed up, or have messed up parts. EDIT: I just realized that only a fraction of the song is fucked up, but watch out for those 3906 bandwidths and once the song has more than 10 sources. STOP SEARCHING.

Yeah, Benoit could be inserted into the storyline I guess. But some people are suggesting that the heat is taken off of Angle/Lesnar in favor of having Benoit comng out smelling like a rose after stopping the "REAL" Brock Lesnar.

*Sigh* Why must people thrust Benoit into every maiin storyline on SD JUST for the sake of doing it? Benoit needs to stay right where he is. He is high enough on the card and mildly credible to a point where he is over and taken seriously by the fans. He doesn't need to be pushed to the next level at the expense of the Lesnar/Angle saga. First of all, it would hurt Brock. Brock seems to be the "Kane" of SD, so why have Brock built up as this remorseless, seething, bastard that takes no shit from anybody, a fucking powerhouse, a guy to make the manliest of men pee their pants....only to tap out to a fucking crossface and be unable to put away, Chris "Vanilla Midget" Benoit? Why? What's the point of that? Which leads me to...... Angle. If the BIG MATCH is set for WM20, why have someone, especially of Benoit's standing, make Brock look weak? This is Angle's chase remember? He's supposed to fell the giant and save the day. The fans have been seasoned to believe that Angle is "the one" to eventually do Brock in. So, how would it look for Brock to steamroll over everyone, including Angle, then TAP OUT to Chris Benoit? Not only that, but to lose by DQ after not being able to put away Benoit with a clean and brutal victory. Sure, it MIGHT, MIGHT, elevate Benoit. But at the same time, it ruins the big SD storyline, and makes both Brock and Angle look like chumps, particularly Angle as he would be upstaged. It's easy to fantasy book so your favorite guy goes over. But in the REAL WORLD, the writers have to look at the BIG PICTURE, and that's Brock/Angle storyline. This storyline is to make this a legendary saga on the lines of Rock/HHH and Austin/McMahon. It's NOT to make fans believe Chris Benoit is ME material.

Long story short, since there's no telling when my browser may crash, I DL'ed a new Norton Antivirus program to upgrade from my outdated 2000 software and everything was fine and dandy. It found a virus, W32.Pinfi and deleted it. Well, I thought everything was going to be okay, but instead I can't access hardly any of my programs due to the fact that they are "restricted." The W32.Pinfi virus attacks .EXE programs and Norton quarantined and "fixed" a number of .exe programs. However, now that they are "repaired" I can't access any of them due to restriction that are in effect on my computer. That includes IE, but I was able to get around that thanks to an old link. I deleted Norton, which I doubt was smart and now I don't have an anti virus program and I'm at a loss on how to remedy the situation. Please, help. This is very serious.

Well, I managed to get ahold of a Win 98 disk, so I can reinstall Windows. Too bad I can't reformat my frickin' hard drive. I called Gateway Tech Support and the guy sent the file I needed to my e-mail address. But I can't get into my e-mail without the browser thwn the system crashing. So here I am again on the phone with tech suport.

Yeah, wish I could. Too bad I can't. I lost the restoration disk long ago. That's my fault. I never figured it'd come to this. If there are any other suggestions that DON'T require a re-install, I'd be happy to hear them.

1. Goldberg is a face and Jericho isn't. 2. Jericho doesn't need to cement his heel status, he's the biggest one on Raw. 3. Goldberg doesn't get a good enough reaction for people to care. I actually like this idea. 1. While Goldberg is a face, he's been booed a number of times and at every PPV so far. With the fans inclined to boo him instead of cheer, this may work. 2. Jericho is a great heel, yes...but sadly, as long as Triple H is the World Champion and getting a ton of time focused on him, Jericho won't be perceived as THE heel on Raw unless he wins the title AND given the attention he deserves. 3. That's precisely why you do it. To get the reaction "rub" off of Jericho. Dames Jericho is percieved as the heel on Raw by the fans, but hell will freeze over before the McMahons feel the same therefore it's not really going to make a difference to his status as a heel there. Um, no he's not. That's all I have to say. Kane is basically the top heel on RAW with Flair and HHH tied for second.

You can't have it both ways. Many of you want "good" booking, then people don't have a problem with Goldberg being wailed on by a 54 year old man. Yeah, Flair was good, very good, IN HIS PRIME. The guy is 54 years old now. It's not believable for him to be getting an advantage over Goldberg, no matter how much he is hated. That's like a retired basketball player from the the 1960's playing against Kobe and winning. Barring a serious physical ailment, it's not going to happen. It would have done Evlolution no great loss to have Flair and Orton squashed and then have Goldberg go after HHH only to be stopped by Jericho (they do have an issue remember). The fans would be thinking, "If it weren't for that darn Jericho, HHH would be slaughtered." Then, you could have Nash amble out and him and Jericho could brawl and Goldberg gets free and spears a retreating HHH on the ramps and the end of the show could have shown Goldberg posing over the fallen HHH thus advancing the whole EC match without anyone looking weak.

A girl told me she was arrested in the infamous "K-Mart" raid because she had gone to K-Mart to buy some Tampons and the cops were doing a raid in the parking lot in the adjacent Sonic's to arrest street racers. She was bleeding visibly and her 12 year old sister pissed on herself and the cops cuffed both of them and let them wallow in their own bodily fluids until they were hauled in. I thought you meant "opening the topic for discussion." Anyway, I think you fail to understand what I'm trying to say. I do not care about HHH's politics. Thus, I would definately not care about an offhand remark made in 1999. However, I thought it was a bit ridiculous, with all of the recent dirty dealing of the man the IWC loves to hate, that people could find something better to bitch about than a little jab at Jericho from '99. And I opened the topic because I thought that MAYBE there was something new in here. And if not, I expected to read about the little "Off the Record" comments. But really, digging up something this old is pathetic. Especially since it was a backhanded remark.

What this thread was talking about wasn't really news, but what HHH said on TV 4 years ago most likely did relate to the fact that he's been holding Jericho down for a while now anyway. So anyway, what do you think would be a good name for you, since you're not a mark or WWE apologist? I shouldn't have to get a label at all. I just don't give a crap about an offhand remark made almost four years ago.

Um, your math is off. That was well OVER a year ago. And alot of wrestlers refer to their opponents as "guys." Besdies, the interview wasn't about Jericho/Benoit, it was about HHH. It would also be a bit dumb not to mention his tag team partner was Austin, the most popular wrestler of the late 90's. Besides, in the grand scheme of things, the Quad Tear match was not really that important, as good as it was.
