I'd like to know how you can determine real heat from X-Pac heat? Boos all sound the same to me. When someone yells "X-Pac X-Pac!" at a heel during their entrance, I'll concede that there is such a thing is X-Pac heat. Until then, when you hear a "boooooooo" it's real heel heat.

A couple of weeks ago I got fired from my dream job of working customer service for the local transit agency (not the CS part, but just working at the agency because I planned to move up to service planner). Anywhoodles, my termination was due to me looking at a 1985 system map in what is essentially an agency library. The women behind my dismissal reprimanded me twice the day it happened, then twice the next day after I asked the person actually in charge of the room if I may return. After my second day of training, I was released without warning. Of course I intend to take it to the board of directors, but this just reaffirms my belief that women just don't have the emotional control to manage anyone or anything besides the regulation of pads and tampons. Also, I guess it didn't help that I had more knowledge of the transit system and the city than they did which was apparent by the numerous mistakes made during training. But yeah, needed to get that off of my chest.

Good for her, but I had to deal with three bitches plus a litany of other less than stellar female supervisors so my opinion shall remain.

The other characters weren't focused on nor developed because everyone was putting over how AWESOME Jean Grey's Phoenix powers were. Add to the fact they had another huge plot alongside the Phoenix deal and you get a somewhat developed story (the cure) mixed in with one where the focus is a character who's basically a vacuum to all of the characters around her. They should have left out the Phoenix bullshit and saved it for a Wolverine spin-off and just inserted the Trask/Sentinel storyline which would have fit PERFECTLY alongside the cure.

(Public info, no restrictions, locked doors, or previous instructions not to enter, even when I asked about the room the 1st day) Why are you in there? (To look at a map) Why were you doing it during training time? (I wasn't). Okay, well why can't you get someone else to get that map for you. (I will) Focus on your training. (Um, I was. Customer service members usually don't go in that room (I wouldn't expect vain, aging black women to be interested in the inner workings of a transit agency beyond the yacking on the phone which they are paid to do). No, it was not off limits. It has two doors, both always open and the information contained inside is public information. My understanding is that the women didn't really know what was in the room, didn't take the time to find out and just had me released. I guess they figured I would not fight the termination.

The movie was pretty good in my opinion, the only complaint I have is "THE PHOENIX OMG SHE IS SO POWERFUL LEVEL 5 MUTANT YOU VAPORIZE OUR LEADER AND TEAMMATE BUT I LOVE YOU JEAN GREY!~" Bear in mind, I never liked the Phoenix storyline when it was a major part of the X-Men animated series, I got sick and tired of Jean Grey proclaiming every 90 seconds "I am PHOENIX!" Yeah, Whitney Houston was every woman and now she is a mindless crackwhore, but I digress. In the animated series, Phoenix was powerful, but only as powerful as every other villain of the month who had insurmountable powers one week and the next was getting their asses kicked by the rookie b-team. In the movie however, she is seemingly all powerful and the way it was shoved down the audiences throat is what I took offense to. It was as if Ratner was saying, "Hey, you have all of these well developed characters here including an awesome villian in Magneto, but let's ignore all of that so you can focus on the awesomeness that is Phoenix who in the other two movies was a bland Jean Grey. Oh, but don't ignore the other characters when they talk about Jean Grey and her AWESOME POWERS-AH~!" Turning Magneto and Charles into pathetic boys fighting over a grade school crush was pretty disheartening. Phoenix ruined the movie for me. The bad writing combined with the fact male characters usually pull off the all powerful villain who isn't powerful enough to avoid being killed at the end (though Ratner made it clear that without the benevolence of Jean Grey everyone would have turned into shards of flesh) better than women who stand their making futile attempts to look scary or menacing. Also, I liked Callistos whipping of Storm, but I hated how Storm electrocuted her in the end. I mean damn bitch, fight fair for once. I'm tired of her electrocuting all the cool subvillains. Other than that, the movie was pretty good. Jean Grey/All Powerful Phoenix sucked.

He can wrestle, brawl, cut good promos and drew good ratings as champion. HHH has done all of these things at one time or another, and better I might add, so, tell me again how Edge "outshines HHH in every department." I mean seriously, I can understand you guys being sick and tired of seeing HHH on top, but latching on to "GRRRRR I'M ANGRY~! In the time period before he was champ and that mercifully brief period that he was champion, 50-70% of the board could not stand the guy saying he was just as bad as Cena and here it is a few months later, some boobs have rewritten history and all of a sudden Edge has improved and was a great champion when in reality he is still doing the same circle jerk with Lita and being outclassed by the real main eventers. Put this guy back in a tag team stat and just have him play a goofy blonde guy, because that's really all he can do. Exactly, past tense. Triple H has done all of these things but now he's nothing more than stale, Edge isn't. Edge has improved all round over the past couple of years. These are all things you say Edge can do (though he's particularly average at all of them). As far as ratings go, wrestling as a whole is on a seemingly endless downward spiral that has had a few spikes in the past, mostly due to heavily promoted SuperRAWs or the latest Kane heel turn. Edge did not have the title long enough to know whether it was him responsible for the good ratings, the fact that it was someone, ANYONE, besides Cena, or just a period where a few more people tuned in than usual because something new (don't get it confused with good or enjoyable) was going on. We don't know. We never will unless Edge gets a longer title run and the ratings suddenly rise to 4.0s and stay there for a consistent amount of time. But see, here's why that most likely will not happen... Edge was a prominent focus of the show before he won the title. That should have provided at least a small ratings bump if Edge is the draw many have and are claiming him to be. Title or no title, Edge should pull in viewers because supposedly, he is a ratings draw. If ratings only go up when Edge has the title, it seems the title on someone new is more of the draw or Cena chasing the title. Hmmmmmmm.

Was it after he relinquished control of the board to our current cyborg overlord, or, was it that he was never really too cool to begin with and people just sucked up to him because he was well, "the owner of the board?" I'm wondering because the Dames backlash was brutal. I mean, I've seen some sniping at Dames back when he was Admin because he wouldn't show up for awhile, but once he did everyone was like; "DAMES~!," "omg dames i love u have my children," and "dames i'll throw myself infront of a moving spider for you!" Dames has always been a pretty cool guy in my opinion, though he seemed a bit average compared to the other "stronger personalities" on the board and I just figured it was because people wanted to stay in his good graces for that elusive moderator position. If someone can get banned for telling a female poster who never existed that they wanted to stab them in the vagina, I think Leena can be banned for calling the owner of the board "a fat spic," something she continued to do the numerous times she came back to the board after her initial banning. Wow, now that made Hitler blush. But seriously, I have not even read the articles on the new site, but I feel it's a failure just because of how it looks. The old TSM format was much better (that's not saying much, BTW) than what we have now which looks to be something a first week Web Mastery student put together in between sneaking naps and flirting with the girl next to him. This is a forum first and foremost so improving this portion of TSM would do more to attract new quality posters than some third rate site that is going to garner more laughter than new registrations. However, if you do wish to continue with this endeavor I highly implore you to make it look as sleek and professional as the forum (not the posts or posters, just the skin really) and ensure you have quality writers who are stable and not liable to throw tantrums, ignore criticism, or delete articles and sites. The fact that you have someone who has committed such offenses on board because she is slightly (and I'm being generous here) competent shows how seriously you all really take this project. Really, you can't have it two ways; a serious wrestling/pop culture site, but a horrible and cliched wrestling forum and barely adequate movies and music forums. So the forum needs serious reorganization first if you wish to have a serious main site. Right now, however, in my opinion, the main site and the forum go hand in hand, and really, that's not a bad thing. It's laid back, so why all of a sudden are we trying to be 411wrestling or whatever it's called now?
