The opening segment was fabulous.

It's just that nothing seems to please people. The Raw that got a 2.4 or whatever before Vince came back that had everybody predicting doom was nothing but straight wrestling matches with clean finishes(Kennedy over Lashley, Carlito over Cena) and people were saying WWE was so boring and formulaic and they longed for the attitude era and Cena sucks, blah blah. Well tonight has been the EXACT opposite of that. This show is straight out of 1999, only funnier and more unpredictable with better production values. I haven't changed the channel one time tonight. that NEVER happens. I've also laughed audibly a few times. That never happens. Would you rather have a Raw from 2003?

I can' believe people are dumping on this show. For fuck's sake, some people will bitch about anything. This has been great.

Honestly, this is some bizarre writing. It's like one big commercial. The girls next door just for a DX spot, the Condemned director for the Austin segment complete with the Budweiser shill, the random first segment just for the dig at the writers' strike. It's like none of the angles are being furthered and it's just one big advertisement for random shit.

According to the radio, now that Navy beat ND, Tennessee over Kentucky is the longest winning streak by one D1 team over another. And if Vandy hadn't beaten us two years ago, Tennessee over Vandy and Tennessee over Kentucky would be the top two.

Oregon should be ahead based on the resume, IMO. But LSU would win a game between the two. Remember the last SEC one-loss team who wasn't impressive on a consistent basis and how they got blown out by Ohio State in the title game last year. These top of the line SEC teams aren't unimpressive because they're not better than everybody else, it's because they play every week in the SEC. And yes, that was a triple negative. Somebody would rather watch Impact than Raw? IMPACT? What the hell, my friend. Honestly, if your only watching for your boy Jercho, just don't watch.

I really like Steve Young. Him, Parcells, and Ditka make ESPN's football coverage sufferable.

They'll find some way to make it obvious its Jericho, but they had Trips, Rey, and Taker Return at PPVs and Edge looks to be the same way. Jericho's return is more anticipated than those combined, so I doubt they'd have him return on free TV.

To answer the question, Cena's return pop(assuming he's out 8 months to a year) would dwarf most other return pops not belonging to people named Rock or Austin.
