Titans again manage to beat Jaguars with a bad game from Vince Young. They just have his number I guess. But our defense is about 20x better than last year and Chris Brown/Lendale White will be one of the best 1-2 punches in the league this year at running back. 1-0!!!!!! Bring on next week's opponent.....................oh shit.

So much for the Titans not having a running game without Travis Henry.

If there is a better team than LSU in this country, my momma's the Queen of Europa Listen, as far as I'm concerned preseason, even early season, rankings are bullshit anyways. As far as I'm concerned the rankings should be based on what the teams have done on the field up to that point in the season. That means I'd have USC way down there right now(don't worry, if they go undefeated, they'd be right up at the top). LSU and Oklahoma would be 1/2, and Cal and South Carolina would be close since they've beaten ranked teams. Using that formula, the rankings would change drastically week in and week out, with the pretenders falling to the wayside and nobody getting screwed over because people didn't think they'd be good preseason like Auburn did in 2004 when they couldn't jump Boomer Sooner because Boomer Sooner started the season at #2.

I wish people would lay off Cena. Guy's a good human being and is starting to become a damn fine wrestler, probably the best in the uppercard. Deserves the title more than anybody else right now.

I will say the Pac-10 has earned my respect. I really don't follow them, so after the Cal game last year, especially considering that same Cal team went on to share the conference crown, I kinda figured it was USC and the 9 dwarfs. But if UCLA, Oregon, and the Trojans are as good as Cal, thats a pretty good lineup. I haven't seen Tennessee grasping at air as much as they did tonight since I can't remember.

Kotz, I remember a few good 6-9 yard runs in addition to the run your speaking of. Anyway, I don't see your optimism for the Florida game. If we struggled this much against Cal's speed, there is no way we can stop Harvin.

Well, I was wrong, obviously, Cal is better. However, logic still dictates that a team that got beat that bad and returned about the same shouldn't have been ranked ahead of the team that beat them. In a side note, Fulmer's gameplan couldn't have been worse. Foster had a 7 yard average and only got the ball 13 times. Tennessee could've slowed the game down and kept it away from their Offense but welcomed a shootout instead. Stupid. Only thing stupider would be if we actually kicked the ball to DeSean Jackson. Oops. Considering Cal's O is probably better than any SEC O and they scored two non-offensive TD, I'm not willing to say our defense completely sucks, but it really needs to improve. Kinda sad, though. Once upon a time, Tennessee not being in the top ten was unheard of. These last Five, going on Six years are unacceptable.

Either Tennessee' defense completely forgot how to tackle or Cal's skill players are REALLY FUCKING GOOD.

Dead crowds come alive for Cena's matches. Whether he's being bood or cheered, his reaction is always the loudest, barring special appearances or returns. I want to see someone new myself, but you can't deny Cena deserves his spot. He's the most over guy and, to be honest, its not close.

The Lily stuff was probably filmed for the Deathly Hallows movie for "The Prince's Tale" chapter(Where this scene is revisited). To me, it makes perfect sense as a big part of movies is suspense and that scene in its entirity might be too much of a giveaway. It really should have been done that way in the book, IMO.
