^Absolutely Hilarious. "Hey Vince, are you gay? What your obsession with big muscles? What wrong with wrestling? Why you bury it in the 90's? Your a cancer! Bitch!"
-
These ways of keeping HBK out of the more nefarious DX activity are kinda cute, I must say. It is disheartening to see him so obviously play sidekick to HHH though.

I liked it plenty better after watching it a second time(just now). Acting seemed better and I picked up on a few things. Probably because it was a really good seat in the middle of a regular theater as opposed to sitting in the bottom right corner of a massive I-MAX theater watching it with stupid 3-D glasses on that were blurry. And because I was going on like 3 hours of sleep the previous two nights the first time.

the fakeness is killing me. these are clips of the first two movies that change the green goblin to look like "venom". Nice try.

*prays for Redick to fall to 14* J.J. would be the PERFECT pick for the Jazz. A sharpshooting #2 is the only real need position the Jazz have with Deron Williams at the point and Kirilenko, Boozer, Harpring, and Okur at the forwards.

5% think wrestling is a legit sport? The Hell?

I'm just as much a "smart mark" as the next guy on this board, but those of you who are STILL on the "Cena Sux" bandwagon and don't acknowledge his very discernable improvement both in the ring, as a character, and in crowd reactions are delusional. Although I do still resent the way WWE shoves him down our throats, but that ain't really his fault.

I guess the acquisition of Givens, Hope, Thornton, and Mawae along with an amazing draft class that will provide immediate help and another year of experience for many key players on what is by far the youngest team in the NFL means that the Titans will somehow be WORSE(?) this year than last.....idiots. They belittle Volek and yet surely these great NFL insiders must know that volek, in his 10 NFL starts has thrown for by far more yards than any QB has in their first 10 starts since well..........ever. Chris Brown will return to 2004 form and Travis Henry to pro bowl form just in time for LenDale White to arrive and form a three headed monster at tailback. One of the best sets of LBs and one of the best D-Lines in the league along with the acquisition of Hope, who broke out last year to lead the Steelers in INTs will compensate for two 2nd year corners(who are very talented in their own right) Titans will surprise. I'm biased, but nobody will remember this post for very long so I feel comfortable saying that.

Commercial break with FIVE minutes left in the show? Not to mention its the overrun.
-
Honestly, as perfect as that would have been to culminate three months of build with that(DX Reunion) at the end of the show(in Vince's mind) they must have something pretty interesting planned for Cena/Edge.
-
uh, where exactly do they show wrestling ppv's in theaters? I've heard that type of thing referenced and it would be an interesting experience, but I've found nothing to indicate that something like that is happening at theaters here. Is it just in select cities or in Canada or some other country or what?

Smackdown Taping June 6th, 2006 Wheeling, WV WesBanco Arena Smackdown drew poorly in Wheeling, as there might have been 4,000, tops, in a 6,000 capacity arena. WWE had the camera side tarped off from ALL fans and one of the upper decks, opposite of the entrance, tarped off. This comes after a RAW houseshow, not televised, nearly sold the place out. Notes from the show.... Keep in mind that I did NOT write results down, so everything is off the top of my head... VELOCITY -Funaki defeated Mike Knox (?) -Jamie Noble/Kid Kash defeated Sterling James Keenan/Jon Bolen (?) -Gunner Scott defeated Colt Cabana. -Matt Hardy defeated Simon Dean. May have been a 5th match? ------------- SMACKDOWN -Show started off with William Regal trying to introduce King Booker, but Lashley attacked Regal instead. Teddy Long came out to make Regal vs. Lashley later that night. -Brian Kendrick fought Super Crazy... sadly, off the top of my head, I cannot remember who won this match. How could I? I was immediately in the presence of the Great Khali and he cleaned house with multiple headbutts, clotheslines, big boots, and he slammed Super Crazy ala Albert-Bomb before walking away. -Vito, who was questioned earlier by Nunzio about wearing a dress, actually defeated Nunzio in a one on one match. -Ashley won the "Summer Kickoff" Bikini contest hosted by Mike, the Miz. She defeated the likes of Jillian, Kristal, and Michelle McCool. All unveiled smokin' bikinis/bodies except for Michelle McCool, who was playing the teacher gimmick. McCool suggested that teachers get no respect and went into some lecture before walking away. The fans overwhelmingly cheered for Ashley to win when asked by the Miz. -Mark Henry DESTROYED a local independent guy and pinned him with a bodyslam. -Lashley defeated William Regal with a Countout. I believe Lashley hit Regal with a spear or something of the nature involving Lashley running and Regal hitting the ground on the outside. Did not get a good view of it, but it knocked Regal out. Booker, all decked out in the King outfit, tried to revive Regal, but it was too late. Booker T vs. Lashley for NEXT week's Smackdown. -Ken Kennedy... excuse me, Mr. Kennedy, returned defeated Scotty 2 Hotty in a match with a Swanton splash. -Rey Mysterio's proposition to join ECW was addressed by Michael Cole. Before Cole could introduce Mysterio, Tazz came up and talked about ECW. Tazz accepted Lawler's challenge and said he'd choke him out Sunday. Then, Tazz said he's "officially going home" and resigned from ECW. He said he enjoyed his time but it was now time to go home. He shoved the microphone in Cole's chest and walked away. Paul Heyman was there to greet him with a big hug. -Heyman then came to the ring and discussed ECW after dismissing Cole. He called out Rey Mysterio and Mysterio thanked Heyman for introducing him to America through ECW. However, in the WWE, WWE fans are "his people" and this was the place where he won the World Title. Therefore, Rey Mysterio TURNED DOWN Heyman's offer to join ECW. Heyman professionally said "thank you" to Mysterio for thinking about the offer and said "good luck, as you'll need it tonight" or something of that matter. Finley immediately came down for the match. -Finley defeated Rey Mysterio in a NON-TITLE match with the shillelagh after Sabu distracted Mysterio. Finley dominated the match, though, keeping Mysterio grounded, though Mysterio hit a beautiful tilt-a-whirl neckspin on Finley, if I called that right. Finley's midget or whatever his role may be did pull Mysterio under the ring at one point in the match (huh?). He tried for the 619 but Sabu attempted to come in with a chair. Mysterio fought him off but the distraction was enough for Finley to drill Mysterio with the foreign object while the referee was also distracted. AFTERWARD, Sabu came back to his senses and attacked Mysterio with a thrown chair to his head and then he set up Mysterio on a table on the outside. Sabu then drilled a PICTURE PERFECT legdrop onto Mysterio by jumping from a chair to the ropes and onto Rey with a thundering crash! Looked great live and should look good on television. Excellent spot! Mysterio was out cold as Sabu walked away, doing his signature point in the air pose... PLEASE CREDIT LORDSOFPAIN.NET IF YOU ARE USING THESE RESULTS!!!

Is it two hours or just one? Only three matches and all.

Kane, 39, has expressed to WWE management that he plans on retiring soon, perhaps as early as January 2007. Kane told management that he has accomplished all he can in his career. Should Kane retire, it won't affect his See No Evil film deal as he signed a contract for a sequel to the movie. One source within WWE said, "Kane is the most respected guy in the Raw locker room. He carries himself very professionally and it would be ashame to end his career without a decent title run." Kane has stated several times that his 24 hour title reign in 1998 does not bother him, however, many within WWE (including Vince McMahon) feels as though that Kane has been bothered that he has not gotten another title reign in his career. Even though he's technically on RAW, there was some thought to giving him a title win at Judgment Day or No Way Out, but those plans were nixed. Another source said that when Kane was asked about a possible future title reign he said, "It's time for the younger guys to shine." Before his departure, Kane would like to be involved with Bobby Lashley, Randy Orton and John Cena. He would also like to reunite with The Undertaker as a tag team. Additionally, The Undertaker has expressed to management that Kane could possibly be the one to end his undefeated Wrestlemania streak. However, Kane turned down the idea, seeing as it would take credibility away from Taker's legacy. source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter

-Smackdown is awesome even now. -Cena is the future of the business. -There is still a place for Authority Figure Angles. -Mark Henry is not that bad. -Orton is not bad at all. -Finlay and Benoit are the best wrestlers in WWE hands down(not unpopular but I just have to keep saying it) -RVD is overrated -I wish Confidential was still around -I miss Bishcoff TERRIBLY -Rey is an interesting, if not credible champion -I am anticipating the Khali/Taker blowoff where Khali gets his comeuppance. -I don't care for a DX reunion. -I am willing to give a McMahon-run ECW a chance as long as Paul E. is involved -Kane needs to just go away. SO stale -Carlito, although I like him, is overrated and would be a far less credible champion than Mysterio. There, I'm done sounding like a mark.

I guess this is the best place to ask this, since I'll probably get a credible response. I missed Raw this week due to being on vacation all week until thursday. Anyone know some place I could Download parts or even all of Monday's show(especially the ECW segment) other than PWTorrents which I'm not a member of? I've checked the Sledgehammer, and they got nothing, but I figured I'd have a better shot on here asking you all. If all else fails, I guess I could watch the choppy highlights on A.M. Raw, but I'd rather not stay up that late. Thanks a TON in advance if anyone has a constructive answer to my dilemma.

According to Meltzer, Dusty Rhodes and JBL(!) are big possibilities.

If reports are correct, Ken Kennedy, Batista, AND Orton are all coming back in the next three weeks.........Just in time for Benoit, JBL, and MNM to be gone, putting Smackdown! in no better positioan than it has been. As of THIS isolated week, Smackdown's injured list, whether kayfabe or real is: Batista Kennedy Undertaker Angle Orton JBL Benoit MNM Boogeyman Hardcore Holly And to add to it, their about to lose their longtime color commentator, Tazz(best in the company). Smackdown! is nothing more than a shell of its former 2002, 2003 self when WWE management was debuting or moving star after star(Steiner, Rock, Nash, Goldberg) to Raw just to make it look almost credible to Smackdown!, which was tearing it up at the time. Look at the reaction to each brand's title match at Royal Rumble 2003. Polar opposites. It's a shame really, as I always favored Smackdown! of the two.

DAMN They looked real to me. Oh well, I tried. Sorry

PWInsider reports that Tommy Dreamer will have an in-ring role on tonight's WWE RAW. The plan as of earlier this evening was for Dreamer to serve as a third competitor in the previously-advertised Edge vs. Mick Foley match. Dreamer's likely addition to the match only makes the bout more newsworthy—eyes were already set to be on the contest due to talk that Foley will be turning heel soon, possibly as early as tonight. Holla Holla Holla Playa!

Cena was cheered last night, get over it.

Another One Night Stand February 18, 2006 At the RAW Live Event held on Long Island, NY, SmackDown announcer Tazz introduced Paul Heyman. Paul then delivered big news to the fans in attendance. According to Heyman, ECW will hold another One Night Stand. The event will originate from the “original scene of the crime” at Manhattan Center’s Hammerstein Ballroom on Sunday, June 12, 2006. Tickets for the event will go on sale Saturday, April 15 at 10 a.m. If this year's ECW One Night Stand is anything like the original, you can expect to see some of the most extreme action ever. I honestly forgot about this. I usually don't forget even the most miniscule PPVs.

The apparent feeling is mutual. I'd just as soon start Volek while Young matures. People forget that Volek was brilliant during McNair's injury in 2004, with TWO 400+ yard games and a 5 TD game in one of those. Last year, in his only start, Volek threw a TD pass on his first throw. They should use their 23 million freed up from McNair for more free agents at other positions. They have already acquired Givens, Mawae, Thornton, and Hope. Another Offensive Lineman or LB would help, although they do have nine picks tomorrow.
