The Maze was disappointing, but other than that, I think they did as good a job as they could on making it into a two and a half hour movie. I wish more backstory was given on the whole Barty Crouch Jr. situation, and I wish they hadn't given it away a minute into the movie. A minor quabble is that Ralph Fiennes ought to be put on stilts or something as Voldemort ought to be quite a bit taller than he is in the movie. I heard somewhere that they were going to split the fifth movie up into two parts. Is this verifiable?

I have NEVER been this embarrassed. #2 right Athlon magazine? Right Lindy's Magaizine? #3 right AP? Coaches? National Title? Really? #1 Recruiting class? How about potentially five losses. Dropped passes. Fumbles at the goal line two weeks in a row. Losing to South Carolina for first time in 12 years. Losing to Bama for second time in eleven years. No offense. GODawful kicking. Injuries. Chokejobs. A sham. A travesty. A disappointment An embarrassment. A joke. And to Spurrier? Good night everyone. .............Forever *Raises gun to head*

Count me in with Dama. Disappointed. The Vols have the best front seven in America and an overachieving secondary playing without the team leader(Safety Jason Allen) and the offense that was supposed to be the best offense under Phil Fulmer, including the Manning years, continues to screw the team over. Ainge's confidence is shot and he just sucks now. Hopefully that redshirted freshman Crompton is as good as advertised cause Ainge ain't doing nothing the next couple of years. Riggs is hurt although I love Arian Foster as his replacement. The Wideouts turned out to be the biggest disappointment after 2 years of showing flashes of brilliance. The O-line is the biggest in the country pound for pound, and that is their problem. They are FAT and did nothing to stop Alabama's defensive lineman as Foster had to continually break tackles out of the backfield to pick up yardage. Our special teams is, I beilieve, the worst statistically of any team in a major conference in Division 1. And our playcalling is atrocious and Randy Sanders should be fired. This team was billed as being as talented as SC with all of the returning offensive firepower, the front seven(who are the only ones who haven't disappointed), and the #1 recruiting class in this nation of 2004. I know UT NEVER lives up to this kind of hype(ex: 1996, 2002,2005) and usually surprises people in their really good years(1998, 2001, 2004), but this is rediculous with the amount of potential this team has. So, yeah, we're having a good year.

Tennessee is not "shitty". They are slightly disappointing. You have to remember that they just played 3 top 5(at the time) teams in 4 weeks and 3 games in 13 days, the third of which was against a team that had two weeks off. NO team in the country has had a schedule like that this year. They were worn out. They will get a much deserved rest this week before playing Bama, which should be a rivalry game filled with more hate than any in recent college football history.

Even a Tennessee fan can't help but be sad to see that

If you think Florida will beat either Georgia or LSU you are crazy.
-
Florida continues to be overrated on this board and in the polls. They are not that good and will lose to Bama this weekend. Book it.

VaTech and USC > Texas

HHHHHEEEEOOOOOWWWWWWWLLLLLL YYYYYEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Hey, Titans win big, count me surprised.
-
they can play better

Bah, boneheaded plays killed the Vols tonight. UT is better, but they abandoned the run and 3 HUGE special teams gaffes set up 3 Florida FGs and that was the difference. Also, allowing 3rd down conversion after 3rd down conversion in that fourth quarter drive didn't help. Florida wore down the massive Vol lines and it showed in the fourth. Ah well, I still think we can win the SEC, and thats enough for me as I never thought we could win the National Title. Anybody other than USC is a laughable notion at this point.

Tennessee has won the last 2 trips to the Swamp, Florida have no running game, and I think Meyer's overrated. UT by 10.
-
Let me formally apologize about my rant last night, I was just pissed because I hate Texas. I realize what kind of negative notoriety the uber-fanboy stuff can get you what with Dama(who has since gotten better)'s reputation the past couple of years.

Mel Kiper says Tennessee has more NFL prospects on their team than anyone including USC in Athlon Magazine(which has Tenn at #2). Don't underrate talent. Tennessee always plays down to their opponent. They beat Memphis by one in 1999 before routing Auburn by 24, Georgia by 21, a top ten Alabama team by 14, and Notre Dame by 24. In 2001, they beat 2-9 Kentucky by THREE before physically dominating #2 Florida in the Swamp to win the SEC East Championship. Pointing to the UAB game is not fair. Look at the talent. Look at the talent.

Why does Iggy dislike the Vols so much? Notre Dame, FSU ahead of them?
-
The reason I hate that Texas won is that now if they and USC go undefeated, they'll get in over an undefeated SEC team, and just like last year, it'll be a sham. Face it, the SEC is EONS and LIGHTYEARS better than the Pac-10 or Big XII this year, so if it comes down to that for the second year in a row, consider me pissed. I don't, however, think it will happen because the SEC powerhouses will knock each other out. Those are the negatives of playing in the SEC. But the positives are supposed to be that, if you survive undefeated, it should be set in stone that you go the the title game. According to last year, that isn't the case. Ah, maybe im just tired.

I heard it on the radio while coming home from work. It appears that he refused to show up to the studio to work on Sunday and cited conflict with coworkers as his reason. He was promplty fired. I never really liked the guy, but it was funny watching him and Mark May go at it the past couple of years. They really hate each other.

sorry still too large?
-
Tennessee always plays down to their opponent, I don't buy into the "their overrated" stuff yet. But Erik Ainge SUCKED today.
-
Titans have added Jaguars #2 wideout Troy Edwards to their corps, where he will most likely be the #3 wideout behind Bennett and Calico, although any one of the rookie trio could take it away from him
-
I believe the missed call was a fumble that was recovered by UCLA that was called down just before Miami scored its last TD.

READ MY SIG Tennessee has won six national titles, although the last one before 1998 was 1951. Tennessee has won 13 SEC Championships, which is second only to Bama. Tennessee is EASILY the second best SEC team of all time to Bama. Tennessee is also the winningest program in the country over the past 75 years. Tennessee is second all-time in bowl appearances and victories. Some of you underrate the Big Orange Tradition.
-
I don't see them losing to Florida or Georgia. LSU is the main possibility, they seem to have our number to a degree.
-
Just to be realistic, I don't expect us to go undefeated with that schedule. I was kind of hoping for the 1-loss, SEC champion, #2 team in the country going up against USC in the Nat'l Title Game route. I won't get my hopes up for 13-0
