Most of you don't get the way Orton's booked. It's being done perfectly. Heel champs are supposed to be vulnerable, that's why everybody hated HHH's reigns of dominance. He just wants to be under the radar and sneak out of mania with the title while HHH and Cena get into a dick-waving contest. I just wish they had played up the Triple Threat being a disadvantage to Orton because he can't get himself disqualified like he's been doing. I was hoping that would be the explanation for H counting Cena into the match when he reffed the Orton/Cena match. And yes, it will go on last.

I agree with Truthiness. Santino has no business being pushed further than he is. He's found his niche. As for Angle and Micheals. Eh, I like Michaels, he' not "great" but I think he's pretty good. Angle is TERRIBLE. I guess him still being considered good is kinda a product of the same IWC paradigm that makes some people think John Cena's a bad worker. The same paradigm that makes people think the faster the match, the more moves used, the less long term selling, and the more pointless, embarrassing matwork used is what makes a match "good". Give me John Cena over the "great" Kurt Angle and HBK any fucking day.

I agree with those saying Tenn won't be a one seed, but just to play defiant biased Tennessee fan, here's a point Coach Pearl made in the postgame tonight. Apparently the RPI is not only a ranking for a particular year but an actual calculated number. According to Pearl, Tennessee's current RPI is the second highest RPI heading into the Tourney in the last FIFTEEN years, only behind Duke in 1999. I know the committee puts primo stock in the RPI, so I think, especially considering the quality of the game we lost today, that we still have a chance.

Dammit to hell. Arkansas 92 Tennessee 91 in an absolute instant classic. Just picture perfect shooting and offensive execution from both teams with Lofton BARELY missing the last 3. I'm not that bummed cause we get some extra rest and could still be a #1 with the #1 RPI and SOS, but more likely the top #2. Still, what a game.

Screw the haters, this angle is brilliant. You have Mayweather only in it for the payday at the event wrestlers would headline for free. Show representing that wrestler paradigm with the added element of him being 450 pounds, giving it a David/Goliath feel. Mayweather is obviously going to play up the elbow thing to get out of the actual match with his money. The whole "Risk vs. Reward" thing is great booking, imo, as it pits Mayweather's love for money vs. his fear of getting fucked up. Then you add the WWE role, represented by Shane McMahon, which is to get the world's biggest PPV draw on their biggest show to get lots of viewers, and to do this you have to pay Mayweather the money he lusts after and essentially spits in the face of the establised wrestlers. So WWE creates the situation that they have to then mediate until Wrestlemania. Meanwhile Mayweather wants to screw over the E by getting out scott free with his cash. All 3 parties have the "Risk vs Reward" theme. Floyd with his cash vs. his career, Show with his pride vs. the backlash that would come with destroying a "real" athlete, WWE with media recognition vs. probably(kayfabe) having the best boxer in the world seriously injured on their watch.

Orton's maybe my favorite heel since 2001 Austin. Maybe 2003 Rock was a bit more entertaining, but that was too short a run. God Orton's been great since April of last year.

People saying Tennessee's overrated don't understand how good Vandy is at home. Especially when UT came into the game physically drained after Saturday night. They had people cramping up for gods sakes. They play 94 feet for 40 minutes. Both on the road both against archrivals. Two days from each other. Tennessee won'l lose again pre-tournament. Bank on it.

Yeah, its a sort of concession to SD that they always beat Raw in matches even though Raw is built as the bigger show.
