For your sake, I hope not. Unless you really want to field a 9-man defense.

Tra Thomas - LT 3x Pro Bowl 2x All Pro Eagles 75th Anniversary Team Another large man for my O-line. He was a big part of the Eagles' success during the first half of the decade, anchoring their line.

People are surprised the team with McGrady lost in the first round?

Since the one position I'm missing that most people don't have is the punter, I'll take: Chris Gardocki - P 1x Pro Bowl 1x All Pro 1x SB Champ Never had a punt blocked in his 16 year career Not much to say here, it's the punter. Hopefully most of his field time will be as a holder for PAT's, but if it's a punting situation, I like Gardocki's quick two-step release to get the ball away and send it a good distance. 0/1177 punts blocked is no fluke, and he played on some bad teams that were punting a lot over the course of his career.

I'm a skinny dude, only weighing in at about 140 or so, but I'd say I'm in good shape. I could bench 150-160 which is at least over my body weight even if it's not that great overall. I can leg press almost 500, though. Like others here, I try to focus on overall strength and more endurance rather than one-rep maxes. I have some pretty solid definition, but not as much pure strength thanks to my small frame.

J-Will is a solid pickup considering he'll only be the backup point to Baron Davis. Despite having a rough start to the offseason, the Clips look like they should be decent next year.
-
What happened to this??? Luckily I found internet, so give me Cliff Branch (WR).

I just sent VX a PM for my next couple of picks. I'll be out of town for the next week, but if for whatever reason I miss any picks, don't ice the team. I promise I'll make up any missed picks when I get back.

I'll admit to being very size-prejudiced, especially when it comes to lineman. The way I'm picking is imagining if my team had to play any of the other teams picked so far. There may be a ton of skilled lineman from the 30's out there, but I don't wanna be the team with a 210-pound RT going against the team with Reggie White on it. With "no picking scrubs" rule in effect, I think that eliminates the worry of random benchwarmers destroying legendary hall of famers. It's the best against the best here.

Hm, I guess I'll round out my linebackers... Clay Matthews - OLB 4x Pro Bowl 1561 career tackles 69.5 career sacks 16 career INT's 27 forced fumbles Brother of lineman Bruce Matthews, Clay is a model for consistency at the linebacker position. His best asset is his sure tackling, but there really isn't anything he can't do on defense. He played LB for 19 years, and outside of a rare injury year, he was always productive. He can play both sides of the field, and is effective against the run or the pass. That's the kind of durability, consistency, and general well-roundedness I like to see on my defense.

Nice Pick with Ellard. He was one of my backup picks for Otis Taylor.
-
It's hard to say if he's a reach or not. He's definitely a top-2 round talent. There are more than 3 better players, but if you're picking at #4, you have to take him first, or he's probably gone when the pick gets back to you in a draft like this.

Time to get that first receiver... Otis Taylor - WR 3x Pro Bowl 2x All Pro 2x AFL champ 1x Super Bowl Champ 60 career TD's I figure these physical secondaries warrant a phyiscal receiver. At 6'3, 215, Otis Taylor's size is still exceptional at his position in the modern game, while still bringing all that old school physicality. He was renowned as a top-notch downfield blocker (which is going to be essential against these big-tackling secondaries) and as sure-handed as it gets (which is what I'm looking for with a QB that has laser accuracy). With his height, physical presence, and playmaking ability, this is a perfect WR for my offense, and I'm glad to pick him up this late. Of course, I still believe there are more than a few quality WR's left in this thing. I had two solid backups for this pick, and hopefully I can still get one of them. Edit: For the record, I don't think my PM function is working. I tried to send one out, and it didn't show up in my sent items folder... Sorry, VX.

It's not as bad as I thought it would be, but I'll stick with the traditional layout as long as I can. The worst part was certainly the merging of the mini-feed (which is bad enough by itself) and the comment wall. I only want other people's posts on my wall, not my own news stories. I know what the fuck I've been doing on FB, thank you.

Moore was one WR I was hoping I could snag late. Too bad on that one, but WR is still a very deep position. I'm not too worried about it, but that is a nice pick.
-
There are way more than 5 good coaches left. That'll be one of the last things I pick.
-
And married to one of the teachers at my middle school. I'd say that's a damn good pick up this late in the draft.

I'm looking at the positions I have open, and I don't really see anything jumping out as a "must take now" pick, so I'm going to make the first pick at a new position with a guy who I know would end up on someone's team before this thing is over. Adam Vinatieri - K 2x Pro Bowl 2x All Pro 4x SB champ (game winning kicks in 2 of them) I know the word "clutch" is thrown around a lot by the media or fans, but this guy's the real deal. He's made a ton of high pressure kicks to win playoff games, super bowls, and he generally doesn't miss much any other time. I don't think I'd want anyone else taking a last second kick for the win.
-
Troy Vincent - CB 5x Pro Bowl 3x All Pro 47 career INT's 894 career tackles Batted down 28 passes in one season Another great all-around corner to round out my secondary. Plays the ball well and and makes tackles. He can obviously be trusted in one on one coverage along with Aeneas Williams and with Donnie Shell lurking around for help plus my pass rush, I like my pass defense quite a bit.
-
Erik Williams - RT 4x Pro Bowl 3x All Pro 3x Super Bowl Champ C/P my write up for Nate Newton here. Another 90's Cowboy lineman to enhance the running game.

Well, I thought the Clips had a chance to shake up the West next year, but now they look like they´ll be pretty mediocre. I don´t see them being completely terrible with Baron, Kaman, and Thornton in the lineup, but their playoff hopes are slim. Golden State went from a fun team with potential to an absolute mess really fast. They´re certainly the biggest losers of the off season so far, and they´ve made so many bad moves, it might be hard to top them at all. Even though it´s early, Philly seems like the biggest winner right now. Any time you add a 20/10 guy to your roster, you´re looking at a big improvement. Plus, Brand will add a veteran leader presence as well, which is something the Sixers need with all their young talent.

This is a tough pick, but the position I'm seeing the least depth at right now is DT, so that's where I'm going. Jamal Williams - DT 3x Pro Bowl 3x All Pro Since I want to get a lot of pressure on opposing QB's with my sack-tastic trio of D. Thomas, Randle, and Simmons, a guy like big Jamal Williams is a perfect fit. He emerged as a nose tackle in the 3-4, but he's played plenty of LDT in his career, so the move shouldn't limit his production. His 348 pound frame in the middle will command a double team on every possession, making QB pressure a lot easier. In addition to his impact on the pass rush, he'll also be felt in the running game as his presence makes it tough for even the best RB's to take it up the middle.

Are those 2's are supposed to be exponents? Just for future reference, to denote that in typing you can write it as 2x^2, etc. Anyway, your problem... A triangle as 180 degrees, so A + B + C = 180, which gives you this mess: (2x^2 - 2x + 44) + (5x^2 + 30x + 50) + (x^2 + 20x + 30) = 180 Just kind of simplify it and work from there. Looks like it'll be a decimal answer.

All-Time NBA Draft (THE RESULTS ARE IN THE FIRST POST)
Just John replied to Brett Favre's topic in Sports
I might do an outsider ballot for this, but let me just say Jorge has a DAMN good team. -
He might not be on the big board, but I picked him last round. Check page 28.
