I would agree with most of those, but while I haven't seen all the Rock/Jericho matches, I find it hard to believe any of them would top the Rock/HHH iron man from Judgment Day.

What's the worst WCW Nitro Ever?
Just John replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in General Wrestling
I remember a show in 98 that was horrible. I think they were in Detroit or Auburn Hills. It was a 3-hour show with 6 short matches and the ME was Goldberg vs. Chavo Guerrero. Other than that it was basically Hogan in a luxury box. -
Eddie Guerrero and Arn Anderson vs. Ric Flair and Randy Savage from Slamboree 1996 was a pretty fun match that only went about 5 minutes.

What ever happened to Scott Norton? -
Heidenreich's finisher on his first Raw stint that almost killed Stevie Richards twice.

If we're including fake injuries, let's go back to 2002. Scott Hall shattered a cinder block over Austin's right knee, but Austin continued to tape his left knee for weeks.

Goldberg slicing an artery trying to punch through a car window.

I vaguely remember Harlem Heat getting back together in 99 or 2000. A) How did that come about? B) How long did it last? C) Did they do anything notable? -

Steinerline was horrible. Does anyone have the lyrics to that song? -
The only good match I've had personally was against a friend in Revenge. I was Booker T and he was Dean Malenko. It was pretty a good match, but my friend kept using the analog kickout cheat. However, I knocked him out after about 22 minutes with a Harlem Hangover/Axe kick combo. All the other notable matches I've seen were CPU vs. CPU when I'm doing KOTR in No Mercy. Most recently I saw a **** tag match with Holly/Gunn vs. Kai En Tai. Hardcore Ass dominated for about 7 minutes, but Taka and Funaki battled back and got a bunch of near falls, including the longest 2 count ever with a tiger suplex from Taka to Gunn. At about the 14 minute mark, Hardcore planted Funaki with a powerbomb for the pin.

I don't think the Benoit/Eddie Nitro match on the Benoit DVD went over 10 minutes and I loved it. For comedy purposes, I liked The Rock pinning the Bossman in 3 seconds at SS 98 after Bossman unfairly re-entered the tournament.

So can we tell who the future of the WWE is yet?
Just John replied to The Mandarin's topic in The WWE Folder
I'd say Cena has the best shot, despite WWE's hard-on for Orton. Though, if Shelton Benjamin is given a real push, he could do it too. -

Didn't WCW try something with their hardcore division where every match had to start backstage and end in the ring? How long did that last? -

Bigelow won in 9:23. With the worst looking "greetings from Asbury Park" ever. Some more questions: When did Bobby Heenan quit working with WCW? Did Regal accomplish anything significant after coming back from the WWF? What did Jericho do between Uncensored 99 and arriving in the WWF? Did the Stacy Kiebler pregnancy angle get anywhere close to being resolved? -

When did the Horsemen start feuding with the Dungeon of Doom? This might have been answered already, but what was the motivation in taking off Rey's mask? -
Strangest Kayfabe reasons for a heel turn
Just John replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in General Wrestling
I mentioned that on page 1. Still a terrible reason for UT to turn. Now that I think about it, I don't remember how he turned face again. -
Ha!

I thought JR's reaction to HBK's entrance was odd. It almost sounded forced. Any reason as to why he did this? As for overreactions: Tony Schiavone (on the NWO): They're not gonna stop until they kill someone!

How was the "Goldberg won't follow the script" angle in 2000 ever resolved? -

Not to beat a dead horse, but I love this thread. Now for my questions... After DDP won Battle Bowl, why didn't he get his world title shot? He was reduced to fighting Bagwell on the next ppv, if I remember correctly. What was up with Ric Flair in the U.S. title picture in 96? What are the full stories behind the injuries of Syxx and Arn Anderson? Why did Chris Jericho fight Nick Patrick at the end of 96? Also, for how long was Jericho managed by Teddy Long? Continuing with this trend, when and why did Teddy leave? Was turning Dusty to the NWO just a way to give his announcing job to Mike Tenay? When did Stevie Ray stop competing? I'm sure I'll have more eventually. -
Hogan vs. Giant at Hog Wild 96 and any NWO vs. WCW celebrity encounuter (Rodman, Malone, Leno) deserve mention. My personal winner, though, is Disco Inferno vs. Jackie at Halloween Havoc 1997. Most matches listed so far at least have some wrestilng, but this was Disco just running from Jackie for a good 10 minutes. I get bored seeing this on fast forward. Thankfully, the rest of the card is passable-awesome.

Best and Worst Entrances and Music ever

Has any nominated Steinerline for worst? That had some really shitty lyrics if I recall. -
Sting turned heel at Fall Brawl 99 Mike Awesome feuded with Lance Storm, turned heel and joined Team Canada, then turned face as That 70's guy.
-
I really want a complete copy of Fall Brawl 97. I've seen the first and last matches and liked 'em both. Eddie busts out some wicked submissions.

Eddie pulling Velocity duty this week? God. Not a promising outlook for SD.
