I was observing in a middle school today and a group of sixth grade girls loved it. So there's a hint on what kind of people like that film.

Funk's 61 or so.

Hahahahahah at idiots who thinks Stacy has any chance of becoming a star. She can't act. She's shown this to be true a hundred times in the past.

This week's Velocity and Heat
Placebo Effect replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in The WWE Folder
The minis match was an odd change of pace. As I said in the Comments That Don't Warrant a Thread thread, they really needed to up the levels on the mic. That's one of the main reasons for the complete lack of heat. -
Fixed. Konnan gets X-Pac heat from me. *click* -that's the sound of the channel changing. I HATED him in WCW, but as the heel mouthpiece/occasional wrestler for a group that doesn't get mass amounts of promo time, he's great.

ICP IS NOT PUNK MUSIC The Border Patrol is the stupidest fucking idea ever conceived. Please just forget it ever existed by next week. That jobber in the blue and black tights has some floppy tits. Good lesson for TNA: When you have an hour of TV a week, avoid having two six man tags. The lack of gigantic crowd pop for the Ultimate X announcement shows that they've killed the gimmick. Joe and AJ's run-in set the match up nicely though.

Highlight of the match was Matthews' "Who will be busted in the mouth this Sunday at No Way Out? Damn good match, but it wasn't tremendous.
-
They really need to turn up the mics under the ring during the minis matches, as that's part of the reason that the crowd was absolutely dead during their Velocity match.

We get it Foley. You'll eventually come back to work a program with Ric Flair. Stop harping on it.

I knew you'd make an appearance in this thread. -
Wrestlers better then Finlay right now
Placebo Effect replied to Lord of The Curry's topic in The WWE Folder
Where are the dumbasses who were balking at Finlay's return two months or so ago now? -
I'd make three posts in a row that say "an unfunny comedian" but that'd be annoying.

Just so Bob and I don't keep clouding up The Office thread. Emily's Reasons Why Not - Gone after one episode. The second season of Jake in Progress - Despite ABC pimping it in recent weeks, it's gone. NBC's Book of Daniel - Gone. In this case, controversey did not = ratings. There's also Love Monkey, South Beach, Four Kings, In Justice, and Crumbs have all been... Unspectacular, although I did enjoy Love Monkey and Crumbs to a certain extent. Let the countdown to imminent cancelation begin...

Get This Party Started, the ratings of which were almost an all time low for UPN, is gone. Crumbs is "on hiatus." I wouldn't be surprised if they plugged it in during the summer since it wasn't bombing.

WCW facts, tidbits, and stuff people forgot
Placebo Effect replied to JoeDirt's topic in General Wrestling
They filmed a Worldwide match with them going by The New Midnight Express, but I don't think the match ever aired. -
Why does WWE continue to put on womens matches?
Placebo Effect replied to spman's topic in The WWE Folder
Because Torrie vs. Candice probably got a better quarter hour rating than Shelton's clusterfuck segment last night. /thread -
I remember seeing Acid/Mondo live and it was a clusterfuck. Johnny Kashmere and Mondo had an even worse match the month before/after. It ended with the Stupidest Spot Ever, as Kashmere and Mondo jumped off of opposite turnbuckles, with Mondo spearing Kashmere through a table on the way down.

Grunge's sleep apnea likely had more to do with being gigantic than wrestling. This is the same as a random accountant who ate six Hershey bars everyday dying.

The Story of XTREME PRO WRESTLING
Placebo Effect replied to LucharesuFan619's topic in General Wrestling
Put it on Megaupload. It's already expired. -
Okay, repeat after me smarks. THAT WAS THE POINT Aries was supposed to look like a goof because he took Lynn's "get a personality" comment as an urging to get a new wardrobe. While I wish Strong and Aries could be on TV every week, I don't blame TNA. It sends a message a good message to the wrestlers. As long as they don't bring back Apolo or Hardy before they come back I'm fine with it.

Well played sir.

Suncoast/Sam Goody going out of business!
Placebo Effect replied to Anakin Flair's topic in Television & Film
I'll have to head there and buy a few TV sets. I've been dying for Seinfeld 5 & 6. -
Nice of them to censor that filthy tag team's name.

3/8/06 (We.) 9:00 PM (#214) Versatile Toppings 3/1/06 (We.) 9:00 PM (#208) Ahoy, Mateys! ® 2/22/06 (We.) 9:00 PM (#207) Nobody Puts Baby In A Corner ® 2/15/06 (We.) 9:00 PM (#206) Rat Saw God ® God damn it. Three weeks of reruns. So yeah, UPN puts Veronica Mars on a six week hiatus (or something to that extent) coming into 2006, and as a result the ratings haven't jumped back up to what they once were. Now, after two new episodes, they schedule ANOTHER hiatus? I wonder if South Beach will drop below a 1.0 without new VM after it.

It'd be nice, but there's so few established faces in the X-Division. What he needs is some kind of a mini-angle to establish himself with the Spike fans. TNA doesn't realize that whatever Sabin did two years ago as X Division Champion means jackshit to 70% or so of the audience.
