    Brilliant Ric Flair interview

My best bet is that it would be stemming from Raven and Glen Gilberti being on the WCW booking crew, and writing shows while high on fifty pills and surrounded by strippers, as Raven details quite often. And Ric is dead wrong about the "jumping off the top rope" tidbit. Vince Russo booked Flair to hit the top rope crossbody to Jarrett in 2000 to win the freakin' World Title.

Judgment Day 2004 Promo Poster Inside

I could've sworn that they've used that Undertaker picture in another promo shot.
  3. The first Christmas episode. Got it from the video store when I was like 8, and have been watching since.

    FSN TV Deal Finalized

Well, that's awesome. Let's hope this actually works out.

TNA Has A Distribution Deal For DVDs!

Again I'll mention Power Move Pro. And Backstage Assault sold rather poorly. WCW Thunder couldn't sell for its life, either. -=Mike Looking at the coverart for Power Move Pro shows why it didn't sell well. Despite their low marketability, if you throw the faces of TNA's real wrestlers on the cover, it'll sell decently. Backstage Assault looked fucking stupid, and WCW Thunder was the worst name for a wrestling game ever. Sitting right next to it on the shelf is WCW Nitro, and since Thunder was always the B-show even in the mark's mind, it wouldn't make much sense to pick that up over Nitro.

Both Sugarcults because I saw them in concert doing a mostly acoustic set. It was free, and I had a good time hanging around jailbait, so why not? Orgy - Candyass too.

South Park Season 4 Box Set Announced.

They don't do full commentaries because they hate listening to a DVD commentary featuring directors who say all they have to say, then sit there in silence for much of the commentary track. While I wish they'd be a LITTLE bit longer, I still like the way they do them. And yes, season four is awesome. If I remember correctly, the only episode I'm not a fan of is Chef Goes Nanners.

    Tru Calling

What killed it for me was that the first episode didn't hook me in the thirty minutes I gave it, and I turned it off until watching the High School Reunion episode a few months ago. Not a terrible episode, but still nothing that I'll ever bother to watch again unless the preview makes it look interesting.

    Mordechai

Troma already used yoor idea roughly four years ago. He was a superhero who continually came, and I believe he rapped too.

    South Park: The Aristocrats

Jesus Christ. I love Trey and Matt.
  15. Thankfully, the only time I tried to show someone a live broadcast of any show was the Raw many years ago when Austin was scheduled to fight McMahon with one hand tied behind his back. Pretty damn steady Raw, and the person who watched it liked it enough to occasionally tune into WCW until its demise.

    Best Simpsons Episode

While this is certainly not my favorite episode, the scene prior to Homer going to the Rolling Stones' training camp is great. Homer (while on Taxi Cab Confessions): "You see, the thing about my family is that there's five of us. Marge, Bart, girl Bart, the one who doesn't talk, and the fat guy. How I loathe him!"

Yeah, he did use the favor in order to get the Tag Title shot against The Dudleys.

This is the kind of book you sit down in Barnes & Noble and very quickly browse through in order to find the actual wrestling parts.

TNA Academy At The Asylum Week 1

Thanks to the demand, they're apparently having quite a few gut checks. And with the enormous price tag they're putting on the training, having 10-15 guys in the end would work out very well for them.

TNA Academy At The Asylum Week 1

Hopefully they'll learn from WCW's mistakes and not confuse talent with being able to do 20000 squat thrusts, and run 18 miles, like Buddy Parker did at the Power Plant.

    ShopZone sales statistic

"Yeah, ummm, I haven't actually seen the movie yet. Besides for my scenes of course." What's funny is that talkshows are very rehearsed affairs. So much of what goes on may seem like the host just has an instant rapport with people, but things are gone over several times before the show starts. Nash is used to doing improv when he gets a mic, so he was just all over the place last night.

Three Days Grace & Swollen Members

While I agree with you on 3DD, Train, and Nickelback, Smile Empty Soul and Three Days Grace really aren't that terrible. These two just had record companies who decided to, as you'd expect, put out their most tacky and common people pleasing songs that they could find in the form of "Bottom of a Bottle" and "I Hate Everything About You." Smile Empty Soul has a few decent songs, one of them I believe called "Every Sunday." Three Days Grace, the music is unoriginal, but at the very least, it's very listenable. I actually think "I Hate..." is the worst song on the CD, as not only is it just a terribly written song, it doesn't even showcase any of the (limited, albeit) musical talents of the guitarists and drummer. People won't care about them in three months, but that's just how radio rock works.

    Burning .WMV clips onto CD-Rs...

With my DVD player, I have to hit "play" once it registeres the fact that there is a VCD disc in the player. Don't know if it'll solve your problem.
