I hope the problem with Nowinski isn't career threatening. Most of us thought Bret's problems were just minor, and that he'd be back in the ring by the end of the month or whatnot, and look how that turned out. Despite the ringskills lacking, I'm just hoping the poor kid doesn't get knocked out of the whole sport as a result.

1. Potential "fuck" avoided. 3. Fuck

I really liked it. So much better than the six-way match, despite it being a lot better than past TNA matches involving five or six guys.
-
If TNA makes it to two years, I think you all need to make a trip out to The Asylum. We can call it Road Trip 2 and Barron can play DJ Qualls' part (has sex with the black woman).

Am I the only one who gets a blank box where the Kazarian/Styles clip should be. If that's so, then it gives you time to credit me when you fix it. Great job as always Dames, and I'm surprised you didn't mention the screwed up entrance that Stryker did. I really hope someone comes out and mentions what the hell happened with Luke.

Dark Scorpion?? I really think I remember that name, as pathetic as it really is. I remember the IWS (biggest fed out there that had a tripod site), where I was one of the few guys who actually wrote promos and attempted to do angles. Hell, when I quit due to time constraints, I actually put over the "up and comer" doing a Justin Credible-Tommy Dreamer angle.

Just to make a quick note; Daffney didn't use the shrieking gimmick in ROH, and she was perfect in her role as the spunky, quirky chick or however Gabe decided to use her. I believe Daffney toned down on the screaming after she got a legit throat injury about doing it in WCW.

whats the full story with smackdown records? WWE got sick of having to get only a cut of the check when the record companies would put out there WWF - The Music Volume 94 CDs, so they decided to start up thier own company for this. But just doing the CDs wasn't their only concern, they wanted to sign talent. So they signed Breaking Point, Lilian Garcia, and maybe one other person to record contracts. Breaking Point's CD fucking bombed, and they soon announced they were leaving the company. Lilian Garcia is an in-house employee, and nothing happened with that. Soon after Breaking Point left, they gave up on it. *It was either Breaking Point or Neurotica, and since Neurotica's actually had a hit other than an RVD theme, I believe it's BP.

Zanyon? Is this triva fed shit? I did that a few years ago under the name of Reckless, and I seem to be remember a guy named Zanyon.
-
And speaking of disgusting, it's Sable.
-
Yeah, seriously, she looks disgusting. I haven't watched Smackdown for a long time. Listening to Gowen cut this promo, he'd probably do awesome heel promos.

That rave was fucking genius. I stayed for the whole thing. For the most part, it's just a few bad apples make the rest of the crowd look like assholes. I think ECW brought the worst out in them, though they've learned to tone it down in recent years. I do feel, though, that a match like AMW vs. Diamond/Swinger wouldn't be over in Philly despite being an awesome, Southern style, tag match.

Most likely the Steve Austin movie was simply talks with another studio who was going to back the whole thing financially due to the wrestling boom that was going on. Something happened that didn't allow the film to happen, but Vince didn't lose any money from that. Most likely, Vince paid $750,000 against another $500,000 (if it is completed, a screenwriter gets another amount of money), so this thing will probably end up, sadly, being made.

I second that. She was a joy to shoot ringside at ROH too. Very nice and fucking hilarious to watch her mannerisms at ringside. And just because I like to pimp my own photography

I find both of you to be right and wrong in certain situations. I enjoy Wildside, ROH, and TNA. -Wildside blows at certain points because while they have their solid guys like The Lost Boyz, the member of TNT that's still there (not Stradlin), Young, Iceberg, Salvatore Rinnauro, Mamaluke, etc. they've got a lot of the undercard guys who pretty fucking bad and that's why Wildside is not close to being a #1 in anything. And I'm well aware of the "they're young, at least Wildside is giving them a chance." I support that, but not for a federation that'd call themselves a #1 alternative. - I like Iceberg a lot as a wrestler. He and David Young have put on some great matches. - TNA pisses me off for a variety of reasons, all of which are well stated in the TNA folder. Don't shit on the product just because they have a few bad points, because those thirty year olds you hate like Raven, D-Lo, and Gilberti are the ones who go out there and entertain as a sidenote to the younger guys. - I go to ROH every month, and was happy to see Iceberg there. I was pissed off when the Philly mutants (who I've grown to dislike and that's why I sit upstairs near the bingo machine when I'm at VH) booed him out of the building, and I do believe they've been accustomed to booing anything that doesn't involve crazy flips, technical wrestler, or light bulb tubes. I enjoy this stuff, but I also can find enjoyment in watching anything from a Southern style tag match all the way down to a Test match, so they're obviously a lot more close-minded in what they like and dislike.

Bush will get reelected because the Democrats have no balls and have been getting politically smashed since Bush went into office. The main point I'm always thinking of when it comes to the war is that what is America going to do if the newly freed Iraqi people want to elected an anti-America czar to leadership? Are we going to tell them, "You have the right to vote, but only those who WE approve are allowed to hold the position?"

- I like the Lynn/Credible feud, all mistakes they've made during it withstanding. Lynn's a great guy to have around in order to work with a variety of guys. Lynn will eventually be mixed into the main event, but he doesn't need to be a mainstay there with the lack of charisma hurting him even through this feud. - Raven is selling the injuries (a la, his ankle is still hurt). - Daniels doesn't need O'Haire's old gimmick. The man is just a fucking manipulative genius that all he needs is the idea of something be "propagandic filth" (as I call his message about the Code of Honor in ROH) and it's smooth sailing from there. - Sandman may cause them to suck, but Iceberg is the fucking man inside the ring. Give him a chance, and he'll impress you. I've seen him and David Young put on excellent matches in Wildside, and I was a huge naysayer of the guy when I first saw him.

Erik Watts - Was a fan of his starting from his WCW 1998 return as a jobber. Those PANTS man, those PANTS. Test - Don't know why, but I like him. Kevin Nash - Always liked him on the mic, despite the blah wrestling. Perfect Event - Hilarious backstage stuff in WCW. La Resistance Sean O'Haire - Even HOSSified. Big Boss Man when he became evil (Al Snow, Big Show) The Cat - In WCW 2000, when Russo brought this motherfucker to life. Waylon Mercy - Of course. New Diesel and New Razor - Dunno. 3 Count - Such a great gimmick. Devon Storm - Despite his wrestling being repetitive. Indies Christopher St. Connection - Hilarious group. Christian York - Loved the look he was sporting in XPW (hair in dreads) Pogo the Clown - Any character based off of John Wayne Gacy is great. I actually own the t-shirt. Kaos/GQ Money Special K - Greatest gimmick ever, one that Paul Heyman would've ended up using if ECW was still around.
-
O'Haire when they let him go out there and work his style - 65 O'Haire with WWE style - 35 Let's review the plight of former Natural Born Thrillers O'Haire - As stated Sanders - Fired by WCW, rehired, fired by WWE, fired by TNA. Reno - Fired by WWE, doesn't wrestle. Jindrak - No personality jobber. Stasiak - Fired by WWF, hired by WCW, fired by WWE again. Does nothing. Palumbo - A mobster. Despite being a huge fan of them, they didn't amount to much.

Here is a more, semi in-depth story from IMDBpro. WWE Films catch pitch by McElroy 9 July 2003 (The Hollywood Reporter) NEW YORK -- WWE Films has smacked down a high-six-figure sum for an untitled action pitch by Spawn screenwriter Alan McElroy. The pitch is being developed as one of the first features for World Wrestling Entertainment's Los Angeles-based film division, which is headed by president Joel Simon. WWE brass was keeping a tight choke hold on the pitch's plot, except to describe it as "high-concept." McElroy will pen the original screenplay, with Simon shepherding the project, along with WWE Films vp Jed Blaugrund. McElroy's previous credits also include last year's Warner Bros. release Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever and 20th Century Fox's current horror rollout Wrong Turn. "WWE Films is here to extend the WWE brand into mainstream Hollywood movies and television shows, and this story does that perfectly," Simon said. McElroy is repped by Hohman Maybank Lieb.

Are we all forgetting Time of Your Life, the Party of Five spin-off starring Jennifer Love Hewitt? I believe that was the title, buy my God was it bad. Mad TV did a very funny parody of it though that was totally off and has to been to believe. It ended with Jennifer on the phone, bawling her eyes out, and speaking to the main character of PO5; "I want to come home!"

For all the haters of Frankie Kazarian; just wait for the man to turn heel. Watching him work the heel gimmick is like watching a completely different wrestlers, as he just has all the necessary mannerisms and such (similar to AJ Styles during his especially heelish period prior to Larry Zybsko being brought in) down to a teet. It works for him so much, and it's just ashame TNA has such a large amount of heels right now or he would've probably been brought in like that in the first case.

Yeah, they take the belt off Kaos randomly, then X-Pac fucking no shows the next show. Idiots. The funniest part of the feud was at Merry F'n X-Mas when the crowd was chanting "Boring!" during the match. Doring asks the crowd if they want to see some crazy shit, and he goes to a chinlock. As a result, the crowd starts chanting, "Holy shit!"
-
Yeah. Siaki joined Russo's group, and AJ beat D-Lo. They put D-Lo in the cage and tipped it over.

Roadkill's useless without Doring, but I feel Doring could do something as a singles. Problem is, XPW did their shit so wrong when it came to Kaos vs. Doring. Here's how it could've gone. September (as it happened): Doring runs in on Kaos after the match. October: October: Doring faces Kaos for XPW TV title. They cheat to get the win over Doring, but Roadkill runs out for the save. November: Doring/Roadkill vs. Kaos/GQ. GQ and Kaos get the win thanks to Roadkill turning. Soon enough, on XPW TV, a promo with Roadkill sans the beard dressed up like a big member of the Enterprise. December: You could have Roadkill vs. Doring, a gauntlet where Doring has to get through GQ and Roadkill to get to Kaos, etc. No matter what the outcome, Doring goes over GQ and Roadkill, just not Kaos. January: Doring finally gets his match with Kaos, and whatever XPW wanted to happen could've happened.
