Holy fucking shit. Tremendous episode. There were a lot of people complaining that 24 was using the same old plotpoints (mole inside CTU/government), and look at what they do before the season is even a quarter of the way over.

I dunno man, he's probably the weakest character on there, but is the only obvious weak one at this early stage in the series. I find everyone else to be solid. He's best to just be "there" to contribute a few funny one liners during each show. When he's made central to the plot (last night) the thinness of the character shows. One of my favorite odd moments of the show has been Klaus replacing Stan as Steve's parental figure. "Here's your allowance Steve." (blows bubbles four times) "1 - 2 - 3 - 4. Okay... Ohhh you know what?" (blows one more and whispers) "Don't tell your mother." The line deliver was so perfect on it.

What'd you think of The Simpsons episode?

WCW Wrestler Emory Hale passes away

And then he blew a spot big, vanished for a bit, and was forgotten by Russo except for that stupid Mancow/Hart match he had to have on the PPV. -
The Simpsons had quite a few funny jokes tonight. Like Family Guy, though, the plot was so unfocused that each act had its own storyline. That's usual stuff for The Simpsons these days, but not for FG. Simpsons highlights: High-fiving the black kid, Nelson saw something funny, serious, fun, and intellectual Homer, Mice In Cars: How Big A Threat?, and the end bit with Lisa and Maggie. Family Guy highlight: Jay Leno, Internet Porn Night, Diane crying, Gwyenth Paltrow and Harriet Tubman, and uhhh, nothing much else. I actually didn't find the Stewie/Brian stuff all that funny. It seemed like too obvious of a joke for me.

WCW Pro went out with a bang in the Fall of 1998 with Vincent and Van Hammer both picking up wins if I remember correctly. -
Bret, Owen, Bulldog, and Pillman all warant separate inductions.

New Jack in a short term role would be fantastic. I somehow doubt it'll happen though.

"Book of Daniel" taken off TV; moved to NBC website

Yeah, it wasn't all that great. I was enjoying it, but probably would've stopped watching by the end of it. Same with God, The Devil, and Bob. That got taken off the air not just because Christians were pissed, but because the ratings were bad and the show itself was AWFUL. I rented it on DVD and didn't even watch the third disc because it was so unbelievably stupid. -
Gore through the set was awesome.

Nope. Not until May or June when the networks announce the fall schedules.

The Road Warriors were in exploding barbed wire matches?

It's an hour long dramedy

This week's Raw was the first in ten years that I didn't even bother to read the results of. 24 is that damn good.

Read the Death of WCW book. It covers how incredibly stupid the storylines were and how things rarely made sense when it came to who was running WCW. -
Six-sides-of-steel, chair on a pole, Ultimate X, strap match sounds good.

No fucking way. Everything else I can see being true though.

"You can wrestle in stripper pants?" (tears them off) "You tell me." -
Holy crap, I just realized the lead female on Love Monkey is Kitty Sanchez from AD.

So what, has now been written out of the show? That was a pretty nifty ending to the show. A tad bit convoluted, which is the case with quite a few VM ending, but still fun. And yes, those were the Lost numbers. I guess it ws Rob Thomas' nod to the show that's currently kicking its ass. Thanks to the long break VM came back with a 1.7/2. That's nearly a full point lower from back when they had the Top Model lead-in rather than the quickly dieing South Beach.

Good choice. -
Wow. Disregard my other post. I could've sworn I saw your post in the Boondocks thread, and since that airs on Sundays, I was confused.

Ugh.

Do you live in another country or something?

Pretty much how I feel about it. I don't hate it, but at this point, Joey would be better entertainment than Four Kings. From the ABC critics thingy
