The WB executive was gushing over Veronica Mars, as she's apparently been searching for many years for the perfect program to follow Gilmore Girls. And thankfully, Veronica Mars is just that.

Yeah, same here. Although I've watched a couple of episodes of Supernatural and it looks pretty good, and after reading the latest info on what Aquaman will be about, I'm intrigued to see how it turns out. But I wasn't aware that Smallville was getting a sixth season. I've never bothered to watch Smallville, but with the Superman movie coming out, there's no way they'll cancel Smallville before the movie even opens.

Plus it was going up against Numb3rs, which is probably pulling in the best Friday ratings for a drama since X-Files. I just absolutely refuse to watch shows like Numb3rs, Law & Order, CSI, In Justice, Cold Case, etc. at this point. At least when I sit down and watch shows like Veronica Mars or Book of Daniel, which have continuing storylines, I feel like I'm accomplishing a tiny little something because I'm following something.

What are they trying to accomplish? It's a silly low-card gimmick designed to get these guys accustomed to working in front of big crowds without randomly throwing them out there like they did with a guy like Garrison Cade. Deacon Batista was stupid but it didn't kill his career. And if they get lucky, maybe they'll get over. If not, meh, the gimmick dies and the five guys go out on their own. Do I think the gimmick is great? No, but I don't feel the need to bitch and moan about it either.

Surprisingly UPN's average rating for this season is a .3 or so higher than WB's.

Meh. They'll hang around, provide some entertainment, and then eventually split up and everything about the gimmick will be forgotten a couple months later. Big fucking deal.

They're gonna hit 90 episodes or so at the end of the season, so I assume they'll cut it and send it off to syndication. I'm really curious as to how the lillywhite WB is going to mesh with UPN. Reba and Girlfriends being on the same network is just plain odd.

If Lance Storm can't hit **** with Danielson, regardless of the ring rust, he's officially overrated.

Well, if it keeps the ratings up we can kiss Out of Practice goodbye. Not that anyone will really notice.

I've yet to see a preview for the show, but from the description I read, I don't hold much faith in it lasting more than the six episode order. In other news, Emily's Reasons Why Not has joined the likes of South of Sunset and The Will as one of the few shows to be canceled after a single episode.

The WWE is far from interesting enough at this point (or any point since post-Invasion) to warrant fantasy booking.

The Vault and The Eliminator (Rutten's films) are both pretty bad. The Eliminator is bad because it's just not a good movie, and you'll only like The Vault if you can set aside the very low budget and extremely silly nature of the film. I could, and as a result, dug it. Scarecrow Gone Wild is, to me, equally as awful as the second Scarecrow. I don't know why people harp on the first one so much. It was good, generic, slasher fun. As for Don Wilson's movies, they're hit and miss. Nearly every movie he's starred in is produced by Roger Corman, so none of them are fantastic. I've yet to see a lot of his films, but I did enjoy Bloodfist II and III. The first one is an unspectacular ripoff of Kickboxer. As the series progresses the movies stop being about kickboxing and start thrusting Don Wilson into the position of kicking and punching his way through tasks like saving the world from a nuclear bomb that terrorists are ready to blow up.

Can't it just replace The Office at 9:30? Entertainment Weekly had an article that mentioned NBC will lose a shitload of money if they don't air those last episodes of Joey. That's how the contract is setup for some reason.

Killings, Shark Boy, and Lance Hoyt. WTF team. The white dude didn't even get into the ring during the James Gang match. ICP music for Moore????? That match was yet another reason why I've hated Shannon Moore since Three Count ended. Who the hell thought it was good idea for the semi-heel authority figure to call the face team cry babies? Awful show tonight. The opening tag match was sloppy, as was AJ/Moore, the Team Canada match accomplished nothing, and the bait and switch with Sting was lame. And please, take Larry off TV. It's times like these where I seriously believe every person involved with TNA is retarded.
