If you ignore the lack of attention paid to the ROTLD rules, the fourth one isn't that awful. The fifth one, yes, that one is unbelievably bad. What kills me about the fourth one is that they built up how deadly the parent zombies were, and then just killed them off like it was nothing. Well, to be fair, most Brain Damage films are simply ones they've chosen to distribute. Witch's Sabbath, which they produced and found larger distribution for through Maverick Entertainment, is a fantastic movie from the "so bad it's good" perspective.

"My homosexual friend..." Excellent.
-
All Souls Day was bad, but not the worst movie I've ever seen. Ax 'Em. There's no other logical choice.

I've actually grown to like Jaime Pressly over the last few months after hating the character the first few episodes. "Turns out Joy didn't let Darnell and the kids onto the plan..."

http://www.comingsoon.net/news/tvnews.php?id=12781 Showtime Arrested Talks Confirmed Source: Variety January 20, 2006 Showtime entertainment president Robert Greenblatt told Variety that the cable channel is in talks to pick up Arrested Development from Fox. "We're very interested in making it work for us," said Greenblatt. "We're having productive conversations with Twentieth, but we're a step shy of closing a deal," Greenblatt said -- but a pair of major obstacles could still botch plans. "(Creator Mitch Hurwitz) has not yet said, 'I want to continue to do the show,'" Greenblatt stated, adding Hurwitz's participation would be required if Showtime were to produce new episodes. "Also, 20th is asking for substantially more (coin) than what Fox is paying to license the show. It's very expensive." "That said, it certainly fits what we do, and I'm a big fan of the show," the executive continued. "We're all trying very hard to make it happen." Greenblatt insisted that bringing over the ratings-challenged comedy to Showtime made sense: "If even only a fraction of the Fox audience came to Showtime, it'd be a hit show for us."

God I love this show. At least I know that even though I won't have Arrested Development for another year or possibly never, I still have The Office.

For fuck's sake, somebody in WWE needs to put an end to this shit. They're only on WWE.com now. Stop bitching. And that one, if you're willing to accept it as being cheesy, wasn't all that awful.

I'll give you $15 for the Slap Nuts shirt. That's a random piece of wrestling history that I want to own. WCW had a Flock shirt with an ankh on the front that I absolutely loved back in the day. It was only advertised in WCW Magazine and was never in any store I looked in.

Does anybody think WWE is destroying Shelton Benjamin's career?
Placebo Effect replied to Wrestlefreak's topic in The WWE Folder
He lacks charisma, blows spots, and I doubt I'd ever buy him as a main eventer. -

Yes because racial stereotypes are hilarious... Yep, pretty much. Edit: Especially when they're used to damage the career of an overrated smark darling. -

Please, stop bitching. -
Sadly I don't have The N anymore and it doesn't seem they're all that intent on getting the season DVDs out there.

DVDVR has a thread on unintentionally funny moments in wrestling going right now. Great stuff.

The only way I'd approve of Jarrett winning is if Christian gets completely screwed over and then takes the belt in a hot rematch the next month. So in TNA language, that means Jarret will retain in the first match, and win the rematch as well.

They shouldn't have played the "Person from Raven's past" angle in the first place if they didn't have that person signed to a one-night contract beforehand. It's fucking stupid for a promotion trying to build itself up to do that. And if they really needed someone, they could've convinced DDP to be a heel for the night. Or Vampiro. Or even Scotty Riggs. Anyone but X-Pac, who he had no substantial history with.
-
They're already doing it with Lashley. I think the only guy who still calls him by his first name is Tony Chimel. Also - why is Edge still carrying the spinner belt? I thought that was a Cena-specific title and that once someone else won it, it would go back to the old "undisputed" version? Chances are it'll be back to normal by the end of the month.

24 and JACK MOTHERFUCKING BAUER > WWE > UFC
-
Give it two or three hours and they'll find that out.
-
This is what I fucking hate about TNA. They botch shit like this ALL THE TIME.
-
Awesome stuff. I don't care if the plot is nothing new, it's JACK MOTHERFUCKING BAUER back on my TV. I'm ecstatic.
-
I hope TNA brings in DDP instead of Sandman or Terry Funk. If they bring in either of those last two, the match will be awful. At least it'll just suck if it's DDP.
-
Whatever. That's why there are Tables and Chairs.
-
Fucking shit.
-
Fucking message board downtime. I only caught the last half hour. - Good Raven video. - Meh main event. - The announcers didn't really sell that Sting wasn't in the arena, so it looked pretty stupid for Christian to get attacked and THEN his music plays. - That sentimental music that played over the BG James/Killings vs. Konnan stuff was... Odd.

In other Friday night TV news, The Book of Daniel unfortunately won't get renewed if it even lasts its entire run and Malcolm in the Middle's been shuffled back to its Sunday at 7:00 timeslot.
