Maybe this will turn out like the Seinfeld episode and Matt will drag the WWWF Heavyweight Title around the parking lot, run out into the ring wearing a clear bodysuit, and drive around at the front office insulting the McMahons into a megaphone.

WWE to Start Another "Controversial" angle
Placebo Effect replied to strummer's topic in The WWE Folder
Awesome. I just want to see how far WWE winds up taking this. -
Michael was a tad bit over the top with his asshole qualities, but other than that, this was an excellent episode. I love how they're going about the Angela/Dwight thing incredibly slow, the continuing jokes about Meredith are great, and everything Dwight did.
-
YES! I knew they wouldn't be stupid enough to hold onto them until the DVD. Sucks that we've gotta wait four fucking weeks for them though.
-
Meh. Unspectacular episode tonight.

Debuting Moore against a main event level X-guy isn't a bad idea, as once he gets shuffled back down to the low-card (which he will) he'll be looked at as more legitimate.
-
Sting never really got a reputation for being difficult in WCW, so if there's any star that TNA has to bring in, I'd prefer it be him.
-
Hmmm... That'd be pretty cool if it's done right.

This is apparently what Kane does for fun on the weekends.

Minor Weird Things Wrestlers Have Done
Placebo Effect replied to ChrisMWaters's topic in General Wrestling
Yeah, I always figured Credible for the type who'd be holding onto the handkerchief. -
Holy shit. I just watched the Gene Shalet mugging again. And then the American Movie reference near the end. I wonder how many people got that.
-
The Simpsons had a joke similar to that in one of the reruns tonight. Alexander Graham Bell stamp: I'm Alexander Graham Bell, inventor of the telephone. Elisha Gray stamp: You stole it from me, Elisha Gray Alexander Graham Bell stamp: Read the patent number, bitch

I thought both shows were really good tonight. All those people who hate Family Guy now because of the pop culture references and multiple flashbacks should've liked this one. The first flashback didn't come for six minutes or so. Roger's going over of the cliched characters in an office sitcom was great. "What is this Nazi Germany? Because that'd be awesome" was great too. As for The Rock thing, I didn't find it racist at all. If you're not the kind of person who bothers to look things up, you'd have no idea what race The Rock was from looking at him. Hollywood likes that in actors, as they can easily market wider.

Uh huh. This has been said over and over again since the beginning.

I don't know if you'll be able to. With numbers like that it might have only been out two and a half hours. The only hope Boll has is the movie was in focus. Bloodrayne will actually wind up doing decently for Boll. It's definitely the kind of movie that will do better overseas, and the DVD sales will help as well. Boll did a really good interview with some site a week ago where he pretty much said that Dungeon Seige (which has some ridiculous $50 million budget or something) needs to do well or else he'll be in trouble.
-
Yep, that's what I love about this show. Just wait until they get to the five-second joke about a seal.
-
Bloodrayne managed to perform worse than Alone in the Dark and House of the Dead from the looks of it. Go Uwe Boll! I must go see this now.
-
Ohh... My... God. Monty Brown shouldn't be doing this.

Nothing can beat Halloween Havoc 2000 where Jarrett had 10 different Sting designs run in on his match.
-
I would be pretty nifty if they could work it so that we get a Shelley Cam angle. Awesome match.
-
Holy fucking boot!
-
I think I read somewhere that Homicide has a shoulder injury. Yeah, you're right. Truth? Come on. At least add the 'The.'
-
TNA using Sting all those years ago really worked to their advantage. They actually have clips to use of Sting. Awesome to see the X Division guys getting a gimmick of some sort. It was idiotic, though, for them to go through that entire segment without someone saying the three guys' names.
-
Even with Kip putting his hand in front of his face that bump into the ringpost had to hurt. And Homcide doesn't get a single real move in. Fuck.
-
Hardcore Holly's I believe. And yes, AMW laughing at Jarrett was great.
