Finally got to watch the replay. - Great squash match to start off the show. - Gayda's got that weird, "I dramatically act by throwing my body around" style going and it doesn't work. It wasn't nearly as bad as some people pegged it to be. - The videos throughout the show were all excellent. - Note to TNA: STOP SHOWING THAT CLIP OF JARRETT WINNING THE TITLE. There's 100 people in the God dam crowd. -

I think they're airing two back-to-back new episodes next week, and then I hope and pray they throw the last two episodes on FOX Friday night or something. This episode was sooooooooo fucking good. "And put my analrapist stocking over my head." "Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, or the OC Disorder." "Don't call it that." "Cream soda." "And Gob realized he'd accidentally worked a day in his life." The various puns about FOX screwing them over were wonderful, especially the line about the family becoming sympathic and relatable. And then the rerun was gold as well, with the opening moments ("You really need to stop quoting when you drink" and "BITCH!") being some of my favorite lines from the show ever. This show CANNOT die. -
AWESOME! Just because you'll all be bitching and bitching about it for months because they're destroying the career of some small and uncharismatic mid-carder for life.

No wrestling federation should have those initials.

That video was awesome. It made me actually want to see Triple H vs. Big Show for a few moments before realizing that the match was going to be awful.
-
Yeah, pretty much. It was pretty much the A-story's B-story, as only about a quarter of the show is focused on the statue. What a load of bullshit. Cartman tries to exterminate the Jews a year ago and THIS is what provokes media attention?

God yes. I can't believe this is possibly the fifth to last episode ever . -
That's what old people do. They die.

Shannon Moore comes in and uses a backdrop and a lame jumping neck snap. Nice to see he still medicore as mediocre can be. Not a bad video to end the midnight Impact. -

Jarrett's new outift is one of the best he's ever had. -
You're really not saying anything that contradicts my point. "Friends" was overrated. Friends was that kind of show that had what was needed to get that kind of advertising. Neither Frasier nor Everybody Loves Raymond could've succesfully been given the "greatest sitcom of all time" treatment. That's all that I'm saying.

I am shocked at this one. I didn't think it would drop, but being Xmas Eve, I did expect some drop. If this rating was based on audience share, its possible to get a higher rating with the same number of viewers if less people are home watching TV overall. It wasn't.

God damn it Spike. STOP FUCKING WITH THE TIMESLOT! Thankfully I set my TiVo to do the "First Wrestling Match of '06" edition and Monday's replay. -
Pogo the Clown > * Although Scott Keith did bring up a good point when he said that wrapping a SHOVEL in barbed wire doesn't make much sense.

NBC treated it like a huge event because it could. No matter how much publicity was given to Everybody Loves Raymond and Frasier's finales, they would never seem "cool" to the same huge of people that loved Friends. Both had their audiences and there was very little chance of expanding them at those points. While most critics said that ELR was same old same old, and Frasier had dipped considerably, critics were saying that Friends was hitting creative peaks. Plus, Frasier's finale was happening because NBC didn't want the show anymore. When you're paying $5 million an episode, ratings that were reguarly between 8.0 and 10.0 don't cut it. Personally, I'll never sit down and watch a Friends episode by myself, but if the significant other puts one on, I don't bitch. It's one thing to dislike it, but most people who hate the show hate it because it's the cool thing to do.

If TNA's going to keep doing monthly PPVs, a mid-card singles title might be a good bet. It'll give simple reasoning for a match to happen instead of the bookers have to waste time constructing something stupid.

"Borrowed" from Inside Pulse who borrowed it from The Observer. 20,000 Buyrate drop, yeah things are looking good for TNA. Impact will still pull at .9 at best, not matter the day, until their product doesn't suck. Bring back the washed up druggie, great idea. -=Mike You're back? Ugh.

Why can't he be Fit Finlay? WWE makes the weirdest decisions at times.

Kid Kash's hair looks AWFUL.

It's not back until the 18th, which is ridiculous.

I posted this in the other thread, but I might as well put it here. Only Arrested Development could make jokes with the Blue Man Group as the launching pad for more than half a season and have nearly every single one be funny. I watched the first five episodes of season two last night and was reminded how much I LOVE the show.
