I loved him when he was doing the Ace in the Hole gimmick, but once the green baggy pants left, so did my "giving a damn" sentiment. He's barely improved as a worker, and seems more content showing off his body than getting better in the ring. Siaki's a good jobber to the stars, but that's all at this point.

Will the shows be on in that order? 8pm eastern/7pm central seems pretty early for the 30 minute parade of gay sex and substance abuse jokes known as "Will and Grace". Plus my wife watches that crap, and we're already watching "Smallville," "Everybody Hates Chris", and "Alias" during that block of time. At least when it was on at 8:30, we could set up to tape it after "Chris" was over. There's not much of a difference between 8:30 and 8:00 in the eyes of the PTC, so it's all good, or at least the same. Personally, I dig W&G and will stop watching (or at most start downloading) Everybody Loves Christ to watch it.

The story with Alyson Hannigan was incredible. The rat thing was... Random.

Holy crap. Even though I was watching WWF at the time, I never got to see the full Xanta Klaus WWF run. There were so many stupid things about those two appearances. 1) The angle was started in the middle of December, meaning that if there was to be a blowoff match with Vega, it would have to happen in the next two weeks for there to be any relevance. That didn't happen. If they did the beatdown at Survivor Series, and built it briefly for IYH with Vega going over and Klaus vanishing, that would've worked. 2) Savio Vega sucked. 3) Balls Mahoney sucked too. He didn't play to the crowd ONCE during that match with Scott Taylor, and as a result the match was heatless. 4) The wrestling attire was awful. 5) The fact that the fight in the entraceway happens right to a hogpen should give you an idea of how stupid the writing was back then. What was good about it? Ted DiBiase always gave great interviews.

I'll buy it if I see it in the bookstore.

Fear Factor is also back, just now at 8 PM on Tuesdays. I thought that POS show had been canceled.

Actually, I loved his end of WCW run where he was Norman Smiley's "back-up/protection" and all he would do was spend half his time doing his entrance then walk around the ring slapping hands while Norman lost. Then he'd get in the ring, do his karate pose while Norman laid unconscious. It was awesome. And sadly it opened happened once, maybe twice, before the shit hit the fan and WCW died.

How many episodes in Season 9 have had a "I learned something today" ending? I think that's what is missing from the new episodes. They're adventures for the sake of adventure rather than adventures with political opinion behind it. There were a couple good bits throughout it, but nothing memorable.

I had to do a film documentary on a social issue for my Literacies class. After doing a speech in Public Speaking on the issue a year ago, I did one that split its time between the Extreme Associates case, Deep Throat (to talk about the Miller test), and Lawrence vs. Texas (which allowed United States vs. EA to be dismissed). I actually stole a few quotes from your trailer, and made up one or two of my own.

People who want to get rid of Apolo, Sonny Siaki, David Young, AND Lance Hoyt are crazy. One or two of them? Yes. But the reason that these guys are around is becaue they're big and muscular. When you want to do step one of establishing a guy as a heavyweight contender, you don't put him over Sonjay Dutt. You put him over one of those four.

Kip James vs. Jarrett wasn't a bad match at all. People are hating it simply because it involved James and Jarrett. It was a perfectly acceptable TV main event that covered both men's weaknesses quite well.
