"He's not really a part of this family. And he's divorced. So he knows not really a part of any family." "My mom is coming in today..." "MILF." The picture of Stanley's daughter was awesome, even though you could see the joke coming from a mile away. "Where's the clitoris?" "You wouldn't arrest the guy who delivers drugs for one person to another."

The OaO Arrested Development Season 3 thread

The Random jokes about British town were awesome. There's that underlying joke about how sitcoms go to new locations when they run out of ideas, and this is AD's "traveling" show. -
Big fucking deal. This is like when people bitch and cry about remakes. No, it's not going to taint the reputation of the original. It's just a God damn remake, or in this case, a cartoon show for CHILDREN.

WCW wrestlers acquired by old WWF in 2001
Placebo Effect replied to IWD's topic in General Wrestling
Sanders, just like he was in TNA, was bitchy and wanted to stop wrestling to become either a commentator or a full-time mouthpiece. WWE dropped him, and then TNA promptly brought him in, dumping him after they had him randomly job out to Hacksaw. -
Besides for a brief bitch fight between Harris and Storm, yes.

He solidly put Booker T over in WCW. Nash should have never won the title from Booker in the first place, but that was a Russo thing. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He did clean job for Booker, that much is true. I wouldn't so far as to say he solidly put him over by any means. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Touche.

The OaO Arrested Development Season 3 thread

Am I nuts, or is this the first time they've done "Previously on Arrested Development..." I liked how they added the extra footage (George getting in the truck, Michael talking about seeing the lake for the last time), but just going around the whole thing with George being brought back and going in for house arrest was odd. I loved Charlize Theron's acting and I can't wait for more of her next week. -

The Simpsons wasn't too bad last night, although there is way too heavy of a reliance on Homer screwing up the marriage. "Where are you staying?" "You know the Four Seasons? Yeah, well I'll be experiencing them because I'm living in the park." "Can he swim?" "What do you think?" "I know this bra. I bought it for her boobs." The O.C. parody was eighteen sorts of bizarre as well.

The Greatest Cancelled TV Shows of this decade
Placebo Effect replied to Lord of The Curry's topic in Television & Film
Yeah, but it didn't even qualify for "very good." It was more than watchable, but I didn't blink when I learned it had been canceled. -
Not so good. Boston Public was ranging from 2.8 to 4.0 or so for its final year, which was the one on Friday nights at 9. That number will probably dip to a 3.0, and like Johnny Zero, Boston Public, Luis, Wonderfalls, Firefly, Fastlane, Pasadena, Dark Angel, etc., it'll be gone sooner than later.

I watched the second episode of Reunion and I'm fairly certain that I'm done with it. It's too slow and tedious at times. I'll watch Kitchen Confidential on Monday and if it doesn't improve, that's it I've already seen the first two episodes of Inconceivable, and like Head Cases, it won't be lasting long.

I'd be fine with Nash winning the World Title and hanging onto it for a couple months. I want him as asshole heel Kevin Nash though.

UPN > NBC We've entered bizarro world! So I guess it's fine and dandy to call Joey a definite failure now.

Has Sam Jackson lost his mind?
Placebo Effect replied to Angel_Grace_Blue's topic in Television & Film
Snakes on a Plane is going to fucking rock. -
I don't see how the show is "hilarious," as the show was light on jokes, but it was still very fun to watch. My eyes almost popped out of my head when 'nigger' was said twice; UPN comedy and all. I'll keep watching.

Good news is that the Martha Stewart Apprentice bombed, which is just another nail in the coffin.

"Well, I could play." "Ohh no. We'll need you if we do boxing." "What?" "Huh? I... I didn't say anything."

They'll hold onto Still Standing until it hits 100 episodes, which it will be close to at the end of this season. For generic family sitcoms syndication is where the big money is, and there's not much sense to canceling a show that is still performing decently and is only a season and a half from hitting the golden number.
